That's why I never trust the fuel gauge, I've had that experience too before. The check engine light might be just because your fuel gauge sensor is faulty.

4:28 Funny as it is my bike completely lost power today😂 I ride a smal 350 cc Royal Enfield classic bullet suddenly I lost power and had to push it. ...later on found out that my CDI undit was cooked 😂

I once ran out of gas while riding. I layed the bike on its side on the ground and let the small amount of gas that was separated by the saddle flow to the fuel pump side and I was able to make it to a gas station to refuel. Thanks Fortnine.
