Interesting. I took an ASP handcuffing course and learned to put the hands back to back and grasp the fingers then lock the cuffs down almost at the same time on both wrists. But this looks like a good method too.
Utter crap. Compliant prisoner, get their hands back to back at the back. Take control of one hand grasping the fingers leaving your cuffs in their pouch. If they struggle, push their hand through to the gooseneck position for a wrist lock. If compliant, remove cuffs and bring them in a downward motion to secure both wrists at the same time. Why are we using any sort of pain on a compliant prisoner? Just winds them up.
Makes no sense.. why? Because you are using pain compliance when there is no resistance of arrest at all any way.. therefore its cruel punishment.. There should be no pain compliance upon anyone not resisting..
