@@Spherrum voice actors don’t have to be good at accents they just have to be able to do specific and distinct voices Ashley can do that. She just can’t do accents except you know Boston and German accents apparently
@@persephonethereaper6938 As far as i know, professional voice actors actually train and learn to imitate a wild variety of accents. Sure, they may not "have to", but improving your craft and adding such a useful skill to your set just seems logical, not to mention broadening the list of roles you can pull off successfully. But it wasn't a dig at her or anything.
@@Spherrum I’m aware it wasn’t a dig at Ashley, I just know that there are many voice actors who don’t do accents like Sam Riegal and Marisha Ray are both pretty bad at accents and the reason for that is there are more things to make a distinctive sounding voice then just an accent there are dynamics and you can do a lot with just your normal accent but with different tones like a gruff voice or high pitched voice don’t necessarily require you to change your accent. I just wanted to point that accents aren’t important for voice acting because there are plenty of people in voice acting who don’t do accurate accents but they do the cartoonish version of one because it’s easier. Wow…okay welcome to my Ted talk now I’m going to do something fun rather than debate semantics unprompted.
Taliesin had Jester for a moment at the beginning. Ashley dialed in Vax eventually. Travis immediately got Vex'allia right down to her manorisms. I wish I could have seen more of Laura's reactions though. Marisha was amazing as Nott. Although that take on her voice is not sustainable for long.
In fairness it's amazing Sam got it to the point he could sustain it for hours at a time over the course of years. I remember the first M9 ep and everyone else staring at him like "are you SURE that's the voice?"
@@gaz-l621 The irony is that the initial voice for Nott lasted not even 2 episodes. He nearly immediately lost the slight Cockney accent Nott initially had. So technically, Sam could in fact not hold up that voice.
I really want "Minotaurs, alcohol, motherhood, screaming" on a sign in a "Live, laugh, love" font.
I love how everyone’s activation phrase for nott is just going “aHhHh”
“I’m so moody and dark” she says channeling Yasha trying to find Vax
Sam has a PhD in advanced psychological torture
Travis and Marisha’s was actually really good LMAO
TIL Travis can’t wink.
Marisha actually crushed that lmao, much love to the crew!
My favorite thing is that Ashley can never remember how to do any accent. I love her❤
And she usually circles around to Gail or Yasha at some point in the attempt. lol
Good thing it's not that important for her job or something

Forcing your friends to do improv at gunpoint, graphic representation. Sam is on a whole other level of chaos.
Yup, He's a Chaos God now.
We needed a return of Marisha's Caleb so badly though.
"Oh ja"
"Oh ja, kittycatfireball, JA!!"
Or Caleb's Fjord..."ældtritch blaëst"
Laura tries to get Liam to help Ashley out by saying something as Vax and he just REFUSES lmao
The best bit IMO
I was expecting Vex Vs Nott and making Laura voice them both lmao
the two types of women ; Vex & Nott
Travis dying from cringe in the first round was hilarious.
Still waiting for round 2 of VM vs MN
sam casually teasing his next character AND the potential scandal between them
Vax with a Trump accent was not on my bingo card for today.
Oh god, I have met almost all of these people, stillneed to meet Laura, Marisha, and inhis case, Matt for more than 2 seconds.
Marisha is the only accurate one 😅
