in my village around 15 sacred groves are there within a 5 km radius. each of them managed by each family. but since there is no regulation, the managing families turning sacred groves in to concrete structures as it allow more devotees and revenue as offerings for those families. trees are being removed to make space for car parking and all. we need regulations like this to conserve the flora fauna. money is not everything...
