Full disclosure, my pops is a Jordan fiend and he had a pair of both the white and black cement back when I was growing up. The shape looks similar to the original release. Would I like constant elephant print? Sure, for the price I paid. I'm like Hes, I'm not going up to someone checking their elephant print or if the glue is on the toe box. I'm satisfied with what I got but understand what others have complaints about.
I exchanged a pair 4 times and still not satisfied with the quality with each pair faded out elephant print, leather having cut marks on them, glue stains on the midsole… QC was terrible and we paying even more than the last og pair
Got them as an early Christmas gift from my fiancé. I did notice the inconsistency right away but they're my first pair of black cement 3s and they have been one of my grails since day 1 so I'm going to keep them. Not everything can be perfect, as is life. Thanks for the videos Hes!
I am so glad with my 2024 pair. It's near perfect and I love the elephant print. The shape is amazing! I'm good. These are totally, totally better than the 2018 pair, those are like the SB version lol!
i'll be honest with you. I was going to buy these resale because they are going for a little under retail in my size but after seeing all the QC issues people have had I've decided they aren't even worth the retail price. I ordered a pair of reps instead. I was able to actually see the shoes before they shipped them out and the pair I am getting looks great and I only paid $130 for them. It's pretty pathetic when the authentic retails look worse then the fake pairs. It just goes to show that Nike/Jordan really don't give a crap about their customers.
I got.mine in and the QC was horrible Nike has to do a better job with these releases that have millions of pairs maybe they should let you pick them up at your local neighborhood store or outlet where they have a chance to pre check them before you pay like the did with the military blue release at this price point for these shoes all pairs should be checked before shipping them out
These BC3s are very similar to the TB3s of 2016. Many pairs had stitching issues on the toe with the elephant print. Pairs varied from production date to production date. Sucks if you want perfection that you have to buy multiple pairs, compare them and keep the best one.
Most of the stuff I’ve seen online is overblown, but this is straight up wild and worthy of being returned. Even without the closeup you can see the variation of tone and how light one is vs the other. The other complaints I usually see, you’d need a microscope to see the differences lol
I had won 2 pairs, 1 from FTL, 1 from Champs. The one with the off elephant print was actually more comfortable than the one with almost perfect elephant print. So im going more comfy pair and sacrificing the almost perfect elephant print. Returning the better looking pair. Was a really noticable comfort difference.
The mismatch on the cement print on your pair is really bad Holy sh*t, I would return them and look for a better match tbh Thankfully my pair matches and no flaws so I love them.
Bought 5 pairs all size 10 and returned 4 of them . All of them were either creased , scratched leather , or uneven elephant print cuts . The pair I kept is creased from new but I’ll live with it .
I'm so glad they didn't do the "aged" midsole again with the BC3's. That's the major thing that turned me off the WC3's. My BC3's have no issues, elephant print matches, and no flaws. Between those and the Bred 4's I'm happy this year.

People are over analyzing sneakers. These have a nice leather and materials, are comfortable, look good on. And when you’re wearing them, IF they get noticed, NO ONE is going to tell you your elephant prints don’t match or something along those lines. If you like bc 3s, like I have since 1988, these do the job beautifully
I got 2 restock pairs 11.5 from JD Sports, heard all the quality stories so I was concerned. The first pair came in absolutely perfect. JD did another shock drop days later so I went in for a second pair. Arrived identical to the first pair, perfect. These are pretty sick.
That looks like paint cracking on the 2011 pair not midsole cracking. I have the 2011 true blue and the white paint on mine are cracking like that but they are wearable
I skipped this release and I’m SOOOOO glad I did. Most of the ppl I know who got them were UPSET! I still got my 2017/18 release I just got them re-painted and cleaned and they r good to go.

I actually would have preferred the opposite.. non vintage treatment on the white cements. With legit pairs coming out so inconsistent, its gotta be tough to resell those without someone thinking they are fakes.

I ordered 9 (yes 9 pairs) with the intent of keeping 3. Quality was horrible on most of them-distressed elephant print, horrible paint jobs, stitching issues. Returned them to Nike and they had a huge stack of BC3s out of the boxes behind the counter.
I'm happy I finally got a pair. Overall, they're matched quality, very good. Only down side is the elephant print is very light on both shoes, and one small section looks like it almost has no print on the one shoe. For the price of the shoes, it is very disappointing. But I have to take what I cam get for my size.
Wear them , it's all Nostalgia seen the older guys in the neighborhood wear them with the complete outfit thats one reason I collected them Jordan is the other reason. I was a kid when they came out still love them . Quality matters but not that much guys .
I think as a whole we’re getting way too caught up in the intricacies. It’s a black cement Jordan 3 - iconic shoe. Let’s just leave it at that. It will always pop on foot, the leather this time around was fine - it’s a great shape looks wonderful on foot - what more could we ask for? Case in point.
I prefer the 2024 shape for sure. The tongue looks better too. As long as you can make sure your pair doesn’t have defects I love this release. I am sick of the vintage yellowed look. Ruined the WC3 release
When you need to buy 3+ pairs to mix and match to get one pair that looks decent, you definitely have a problem. Nike is trying to get the last big cash grab because of dwindling sales on Jordan brand products. Nike is cutting costs, and it shows.
I had to take my first pair of black cements back they were so mismatched. Luckily I have a shoe Palace in my area that had plenty pairs to choose from. I had to dig through about six pairs to find a good pair. I will not be ordering online for retros ever.
Saying it's a mass-produced shoe only goes so far. it's also a $200+ shoe from the biggest sneaker company in the world. I don't remember any Fire Red 3's having inconstant elephant print. It seems like the quality control is better on $100 nothing shoes than on retro Jordans. Nike knows the average consumer would return those shoes for any minor flaw, but collectors are supposed to take whatever they get and be happy. Anytime a shoe sells out I bet they get less returns because now people have to choose between having a shoe with minor flaws or not having the shoe at all. I wouldn't be surprised if people started having their shoes graded like video games and sealed in a plastic cube so they can prove they have a perfect 10 quality pair of something.
I am happy with my pair coz its my first black cement. I was lucky to get without any manufacturing defects or flaws because if there is or are I would definitely return them. I bought J3 Fear on the Nike app back then it had a flaw so I had to return and buy in store instead. But I am happy with what I got for the J3 black cement
This release just had a ton of issues, I own 2 pairs of the 2018's and both are flawless I've seen way too many QC issues with this version. Dropping $220 on a sneaker and being unhappy isn't fun if I had QC issues I wouldn't hold the L, I would just send them back.
The 2024 BC3’s were a consolidation prize for people who didn’t hit on the 2018 pairs imho. I passed on the 2024 version b/c mine are still crispy and clean.

I never won a SNKRS app drop. Nike is anti consumer. They hand people L's on the SNKRS app and they will have to sneakers available in the Nike store for weeks. They take sneakers off of all their apps on day 1 even if they don't sell out so people can't exchange them while they have them in Nike stores for weeks. Nike stores, especially the premier ones aren't plentiful. There might be 1 every 50 miles at best and every release you go to a premier store they don't even sell you the sneakers on release day because of reserve pairs. They tell you to call back tomorrow and won't even tell you if they have your size when you call and when you go to the store a week later the sneaker will be there and you woundup ordering from another store and you got the wrong size and you can't exchange it

The BC3 elephant print panels are straight up garbage. Either they are missing a piece or looks chewed up. And Nike customer service is garbage cause I complained via Nike Chat and gotten nowhere.

Only the younger folks are really complaining about the quality and other issues. Me personally the 2024 is by far the best version nike did since 94.
These are my first pair and I love them. The elephant print is slightly mismatched on my pair but it doesn’t bother me at all.

The BC3 elephant print panels are straight up garbage. Either they are missing a piece or looks chewed up. And Nike customer service is garbage cause I complained via Nike Chat and gotten nowhere.
What is insane to me is that the 2018 pair and this pair look the same, maybe a slight difference but dawg this ish is pure insanity to me.

still glad I got a pair - prob top 3 shoe of all time for me
that being said, there's definitely issues, and I wish I could go in-store and get 2 shoes that matched.... =/
I prefer the tumbled leather in the older release

I didn’t care because I grabbed the a ma manier 3s over the cements but once I bought 2 pair of cements for boys a size 11 & 10, I was like man these look cheap as hell
2024 shape material is better in my opinion not elephant print

It really hurts my soul coming from Nike/SNKRS. If it had came from someone else like say a 3rd party, maybe it wouldn’t hurt as much?!?! I don’t know.
Trust me the BC3 at FTL are no better.
Im tryna sell mines right now they starting to curve up to bad only wore twice but both my shoes have consistent elephant print cause I chose to buy off eBay so I can see what I’m buying . No more 3s for me besides the a ma maniere blue an white pair coming in 2025
