Great interview...i am just trying to learn here...what 3 signals do i look for before making a trade? also what I V should the underlying be at and lastly what type of positions is he putting on? strangles, spreads? what is the percentage of success? does he have a rule for that?

Marty Kelly you want to look for high imp vol rank meaning above 50, now that number is different than pure implied vol

Difficult to learn from interviews such as this one with almost zero specific info on management and strategies. Otherwise, I do enjoy these rising star segments.

Lol. How are naked options working for these guys now? Bet they’ve all lost their entire account

no different than holding stock unless trading with portfolio margin and become over leveraged - you will have an unrealized loss and can roll those positions each month waiting for the market to come back.....took me 2 months to roll out of my naked positions (deep unrealized losses), and ive been able to get out with profit. selling naked puts is actually less risk than holding stock

The sellers who understand how to manage their positions are having a historically profitable year (great IV, great time to sell options)

2020 was most likely the most profitable year for these guys
