  • God's Dream: Transparent Body, Luminous World - The Tantric Yoga of Sensation and Perception. A Conversation with Deepak Chopra and Rupert Spira.
    From an early age, ‪@rupertspira‬ was deeply interested in the nature of reality and the source of lasting peace and happiness. After spending twenty years immersed in the teachings of classical Advaita Vedanta, he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, who introduced him to the Direct Path approach whereby one may recognize the source of peace and happiness in oneself. Rupert has written several books and holds regular meetings and retreats online, as well as in Europe and the United States. He is also a noted potter, trained in the British Studio Pottery school, with work in public and private collections.

    If only....If only Rupert would have been able to complete what he was saying at 45:30 of this video. He was just reaching the peak of explaining his point of that moment, when he was interrupted and cut off in mid-voice. So sorry Rupert, I hope to someday hear that magic moment over again...to the end. Thank you.

      Yes, and his jaw was stuck in that position for a good 15 seconds. He wanted to complete what he was saying too. But time and tide waits for no man, or a limited mind that must express itself through time. But yes, I was also waiting for the rapture of those words...

    When my grandson was 3 years old, he was playing with his toys when he suddenly waved his arms wide in the air and said, " none of this matters."... I said, "none of what?"...to which he waved his arms wide again and looking around the room repeated, "none of this.". ...

      And a little child shall lead them. I was around 6 when I suddenly looked around the living room and in my mind saw nothing but a vast night sky completely void of anything . My eyes still looked around the room scanning its content. The only way I can describe what happened was a question came but not really in word, but a feeling. It was... " Why is all of this, why wasn't there just nothing?" I have no way to explain the feeling of realizing there could have easily have been nothing instead of the material world I stood looking at. For a little child it was a profound realization. I believe this was my first questioning of God, our reality, and the why of existence. There was no fear but this incredible curiosity as to why and what the world and all of us were and the purpose.
      To me it sounds like your grandson expressed the same type of insight just phrased differently. Vicki

    Once, I awoke from a nap and had the angst of suffering for all I could perceive...I suddenly cried out , "WHY?". In 1/10,000th of a second the answer flashed across my mind...it was an invisible grid with points of light at each exact intersection...each light EXACTLY the same...one word in bold black capital letter... ABSOLUTE...and my instant understanding is that each one of us is each point of light and we are without limitation.

      I saw that same grid, but didn’t interpret the points as each one of us. The best I can explain my interpretation is that I saw each block of the grid as an aspect of experience, that could be reached without moving any distance or taking any time.

All particles may have materialised through sound originally, as most of spiritual traditions and the only scientific theory we have point to.The Sound is so powerful in that it can change the way the particles dance, mantra and prayer are pathways to the source.Can’t wait for more on these series, thank you so much!

    Love the circle analogy, starting at the same point, one can go inwards and wake up to the illusory nature of life, or one can go outwards in experience and wake up to the same thing! Our humanity and divinity of the same constant essence, the “what is”, experienced through Personal Consciousness in time, space and matter. For me death doesn’t really occur as we were not really here - not in the way we think we are!

    This is the Tao. The Tao (the One) gives birth to the 80,000 things (the infinite number of things which is expressed from the One). The non-dual Tao expresses itself through seemingly dualist means. The Tao te Ching speaks to this eloquently.

    Thoughts in the physical world - A language is a tool of the physical world that is written by sensory consciousness through learned responses of the outer landscape. Spiritual language is given by God that is interrupted by the inner spirit of the beholder, then it's broadcasted as a frequency in the physical world. Stillness is the energy of god and needs to be accepted in the physical world, so the inner spirit may broadcast positive energy frequencies to dissolve the perceived pain in the physical world. Deepak Chopra name awareness has been with me since 1993, I saw him live on stage, Deepak Chopra, thank you for your Spiritual energy.

    I live alone, therefore I sped many hours in silence and gardening, which for me is like being in meditation most of the time. Nonetheless I do have a bit of apprehension about passing on alone…Normally I have gone through life being courageously happy and a thankful. Nonetheless, I had a very difficult life but all that’s over now and I can enjoy the freedom I have to expand my mind and most of all, know who I am. After living with that phenomenon for 10 years I took away from that experience an overall calmness because I knew there is so much about our perception of reality that cannot be explained. but is there. Clear and lightful! I would also remember the Australian aboriginal tradition of Dreamland, very poetical and philosophical. My question is about consciousness and animals. As Consciousness is the reality, in which sense they are less conscious than us and are we sure that language and self recognition are necessary to thought? Thanks to all who made possible and accessible this beautiful conversation.

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Animal vehicles despite being penetrated by consciousness from the omnipresent soul or divine, don't allow self awareness of the soul to penetrate except very intelligent dolphins, elephants and some monkeys which pass the mirror test. Human vehicles allow self awareness. Animals can communicate in their own language in the form of different sounds and actions. But self awareness is the most important missing link. Human self awareness is both a boon and curse since it also leads to false identification with thoughts and body which is an illusion due to ignorance shaped by the past karma.

    I think is a great error to use Einstein quotes out of the context 30:35.
    It can lead some of us to misunderstanding and its not intelectual honest.

    the spiritual crisis that comes from the realization of the emptiness of form, and its potentially destructive turn toward nihilism, is resolved by the tantric path that re-orients the adept toward a re-embodiment of form through meditation and identification with the deities of the void, the underlying patterns of cosmic forces. this is the spiritual re-orientation for which tantra was originally created, as jeffrey hopkins claims in his book on tantric practice.

      "emptiness of form" - But it does not mean whatever form we see is an illusion. Advaitha vedanta does NOT say that Maya is an illusion through which the brahman (consciousness is an attribute of brahman just like heat is for fire) falsely appears as the universe. Maya is the creative shakthi of the Brahman and it is absolutely real. It also means the material realm is also very real.
      Mithya also does not mean false. It means temporary or relative world. It is just like temporary tasks at the office we have complete since they are not false.

      neti neti, not this not that, MY TRUE ESSENCE, I intuit inside, within myself, heart area, expansion of awareness to other parts of my body

      I work on the inside and it comes out, is expressed as appropriate.
      I just continue to intuit, be aware, present within myself, I am essence self. And I express/self-express appropriately.
      I persist.
      Persistance furthers.

    With alot of respect , why God need to Dream. He always remain in present , even many of his creation not physically (us) want to remain in present and have a dreamless night.

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dreams are based on impressions accumulated in the present or wake state which gets stored in the subconscious mind. Is so called "god" dreaming? Well, first define god. Then we can worry about it dreaming.

      @@Dharmicaction I think this Master's know what I try to mean here.Anyhow thank you for defining what is dream and want me to define God.I don't know why after understandung we are conscious being we have to think that that consciousness is ultimate reality..

      Hi Nanda, Good question. It's not a dream - dream per se.
      To my understanding, it's explaining that everything is an illusion... like a dream.
