Not all teachers are what they are often portrayed as, kind and willing to spend time to help you and listen to you. Some teachers are stricter and fiercer, however, that doesn't mean that they do not care for you. Remember that!

Teachers are always like that. They yell in front of the whole class but that's not the real them. If the students would just do their work the teachers wouldn't act that way. Yes they always punish and yell, but doesn't this really mean that they don't care about u? I agree with Butterworks, teachers do belive in yourself, it's just you don't...
Teachers should listen to their students instead of focusing on their methods to motivate their students. he showed from the very beginning sign of emotional hurt, and the teacher never once took the time to sit down and listen to him, in fact, if you notice the teacher never even apologized to him, always scold, never even took one minute to listen. The student had to shout to get his point across, after she nagged him to not shout at her. Good intentions, but her methods are not good at all.

I agree with you. The teachers who impacted me the most and helped me improve were the ones who cared for me and did not raise their voice at me even when I screwed up, and not those who embarrass and made insensitive remarks to shame me to do better.

Only when you sit down and talk and discuss to understand, you will come to terms. Shouting, scolding or worst, to ignore and not be a part of it, does not do any good.

I'm a teacher and this brought tears to my eyes
This happened to me 2 years ago and last year first teacher was predijuice over my friends than me second teacher forgetting my birthday and remembering everyone else's I use to think this was only happening to me and I was just being stupid and lazy but ur video has shown me that im not stupid they're are other people experiencing the same things as me and I know I could be a far worse position but the things that the teacher did has made my self a esteem lower but I know I have friends at school that care about Me even if they don't show it Thank you for the video it has made me realise im not the only person going through this

Yo, I see this video makes me think of my chinese teacher this year who is teaching me because the other is teaching primary 2. I am quite happy type this lol. Makes me wanna smile lolol, I already smile while typing this. My chinese teacher helped me so much and give me extra lesson every tuesday with my classmate. I am grateful to have her this year :).

that teacher ask to lead by example while she keeps on shouting and all..she ask him to not rising his voice but she keeps shouting.. never slowing down.. thats not how a teacher supposed to approach the student with that kind of problems and emotion..
im a teacher btw, n things never worked that way..there are time shouting n keep pressing is the best way but not in this situation

I was on my rebellious stage of life when I was in high school , guess what , most of the teachers had labelled me as a "hopeless student " but there was this one teacher , who caught me smoking in the toilet , she spoke to me that I can change ,as I was behaving like this just to get the others' attention , and because of that one simple sentence she had spoken to me , I changed , what I'm to trying to say here is , a good teacher will influence you for your lifetime , I'm grateful that I'd met one in my life , #godbless

It doesn't matter the intention, she should not have done that without first sitting down and listening to him. It was a good short film, however, this teacher's methods are horrible, even though she had good intentions.

This was good, however, the teacher is not exactly one to be appreciated. Not saying she shouldnt get angry and discipline him, however, the teacher should have taken the time to listen to him. Threats after threats after threats even though from the very beginning he showed signs of emotional hurt, the first one was so obvious, you didnt even need to hear the phone conversation to see. Yet she never listened. he had to shout to get his point across. This teacher had good intentions, however, listening is the most important.
If you dont listen to your students, how do you expect them to listen to you?
If you don't listen to your teacher, why should they listen to you?
It's the same thing.
It's mutual but if both parties think the same way, nothing can be done.

I wish I had teachers like this. Back in Asia, the amount of sincerity and the relationship between the students and the teachers were so different😭
This is negative reinforcement, no matter the reason behind it. How many people actually can stand back up, if this method fails to wake the student up, it will only affect his self esteem for the rest of his life.

Teachers are one of the best types of people in the world (mostly all of them) they care about their students and love them. Teachers here in the U.S. deserve to be treated better. 💖
When I was in school I didn't get any punishment like this, I always care and protect the teacher. One student try to threaten the teacher so I just become a hero to scold the student. But I saw one teacher try to prank one of the teacher so I student scold the teacher to stop making prank on them.
