Honestly seems like a unique and interesting game! I love the classic fantasy and simple "this is a video game" style combined with more modern mechanics. You can see the elements of other games that inspired this.
Charles here uses the "Londoner" meta build, and as you can see from the gameplay it requires precise timing to close in at enemies and absolutely devour them in accurate piercing attacks. Very well done and also great game.

i honestly love the poe diablo 2 style of inventory in rpgs, idk why it just feels so much nicer than generic ass list inventories i guess it's bc there's a lot more affixes in those kinds of games compared to smth like elder scrolls which basically just have 1 enchant so its not really too custom this game genuinely looks really dope
@@tikkng It is genuinely nicer because you can see your whole inventory at once. Lists are absolutely terrible interface design. Even in games that don't have Tetris-style space management, having a 2D grid where each item occupies a box is a way better layout. Divinity Original Sin and classic CRPGs like Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, etc. all did this, it's only really Bethesda that decided to revert that style because they couldn't figure out how to make it work on a controller.

I'm a Cleric main, but when I was leveling my Wizard I forgot to put on a staff/book for a session and I ended up killing a rogue with my fists. Amazing what you can pull off when you're used to the slow ass Cleric mace attacks.

This reminds somewhat me of a far advanced version of dreadhalls VR, especially in atmosphere (excellent game too btw) but with combat and many other added mechanics, creating a whole different experience

I didn't even know you could increase the brightness. Not sure why, just never thought to check- mostly because I liked the idea that if I can't see them, they can't see me.
Spend evrything u got, cause after the play test you lose everything. Idk for sure if u lose everything next play test but i played the one before and everything was gone in this one.
This game is the best thing ive played in years, little tip though is to use the enviroment to combat the AI, jumping up on a tomb or barrel and your out of reach for most mobs, you can even jump on the portal stones to get away from spiders.

So far the game seems like if escape from tarkov was a rogue like and battle royale mixed together. The collecting loot and escaping to keep the loot gained really makes it feel like tarkov.

This game gives heavy oblivion vibes but strange enough not Skyrim vibes. It’s definitely the combat and dungeon layout that gives it that feel.
