Great videos, keep 'em coming! I use 41 psi rear and 41 psi front tire pressure on my '04 Wing, works great and tire life is just fine. Using Bridgestone Exedras, good price and they work well. LED bulbs work great, but cause some electronic headaches.
I just had the loose battery terminal issue last weekend - both terminals and the clamp bolt were loose! After tightening the terminals, all was well again. That starter button release-startup is a good tip too.

Having a GL1500, I'm currently in the middle of such change. only changing bulb, making flashing faster, like having one bulb out of order. I have not yet change the flasing relay to have an adjusted one for LED; already bought, but kept for winter activity. the sitching annulation is still working. On my previous GL1500, I've done the same, including flash relays. It was flashing right, but no more annulation. My suggestion will be to put a power resitor, as you suggest for each bulb, but here for the single switching relay for direction. I dot not yet evaluate it, il will try to measure how much amps/watts are in this link, before removing the current one.I could suggest 10 ohms, 25 Watts, in parralel on switching relay.
Unfortunately, that won't work. The relay/flasher in the circuit comes BEFORE the switch that both activates and selects which signal will flash. If you put a resistor on the flasher like you plan, it will cause the flasher to activate ALL the time and never turn off.
Hi Doc, I have a 1992 gl1500 and my fm radio only picks up one radio station out of the 6 when riding that i would normally listen to....what could be the cause and remedy for that? Is my antenna failing?
another great video! I have a 1991 GL1500. My turn signals stopped working and my turn signal switch broke. I replaced the turn signal switch but still no signals. I ordered new cornering light relays and new Hazzard + turn signal relays. If those relays don't fix the problem.....what would you recommend checking next to fix my turn signals?
My 1981honda goldwing is driving me crazy trying to get my charging system. I am no stranger to my 1100 I have ridden it from 29,000 in 1995 now it has 270,000 miles on it. I destroyed the original stator at 110,000 ..I hard wired the stator plug at that point. I am to old to pull the engine out at 82. I have several 1100 wings lot of extra parts. Have 3 extra regulator same problem with all three. New battery. Bike running ac voltage on all three stator out put goes up to 30 volts. As soon as it is running it starts to lower the d.c. voltage across the battery. My d.c.voltage out of the 2 red wires on the regulator is 45 volts d.c. I want to continue on toward 300,000 miles on this bike. I bought a new 1800 in 2007 which I now have 195,000 miles on. I am getting so old same as Malcolm Smith. I think God I can still ride. Can hardly walk but once on the bikes ok. I have been riding since 1955.
Hi Scott, I have asked this question before, why is it that I have replaced all the running and brake lights on my 99' GL1500 with the exception of the trunk running/brake light in the right corner if you are oriented behind the bike facing forward. If I attempt to replace this light with a LED bulb, and active the front or rear brakes the brakes lights start to illuminate like a kaleidoscope or something flashing all over the place real weird. I have installed LED turn signal flashers as well. Please provide a answer if you can. Thanks!.

The cranking problem was the same thing I had on my 66 PONTIAC. Wiring was old ,not carrying enough current

I I have a 1983 GL 1100 Aspencade I have a Strong smell of gas there’s no leaks no leaks in the tank gas cap feels tight yet I smell gasoline
