The Houston Astrodome abandoned stadium was a tough mission to get inside and explore but we got it done. Do you have a memory from this stadium? Leave us a comment and let us know! #shorts
@@Smlfanjeffy4the Astro dome is an iconic symbol to Houston Texas, it was used for many decades until it was abandoned due to the NRG stadium right next by, and the Astros ball park in Down town Houston
Ohhh after Katrina hurricane, this was surely a sore to know that it has abandoned!!! This one saved a lot of people from Katrina’s terror. I do hope the people have some kind of a revitalization idea and reuse this building. Maybe call Joanne and Chip to create this building into something like a compartments?
It’s very complicated. This dome has been a part of Houston for so long and is cherished by so many people, nobody can decide what to do with it. Following the demolition of Six Flags Astroworld and the construction of Reliant Stadium (Now NRG Stadium) the dome has no use. The Astros have since moved stadiums leaving this relic once known as “The Eighth Wonder of the World,” to sit and rot and slowly become a testament to the past. It’s actually quite sad.
@@cannedchocolate3014 aw! Would it be possible to find a way to convince the Houston to allow public buyer to buy it and convert this into apartments or condos for people to be able to live it? Maybe Veterans
@@astudent4life301 great idea .. for the right price .. I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed .. of course if it is safe ..or would be fixed to be safe .
Fond memories of going to astros day games on my days off work...just me, a beer and peanuts up in the nose bleeds. Of course i could have snuck down to field seats sometimes but i never did. I actually liked the cheap seats
This is sad. The 'Dome was such a big part of my childhood. Watching the Astros and/or the Oilers was huge to me. Either redevelop the Astrodome, or tear it down (hopefully the first choice).
Whoever shut down this place needs to be locked up. Not only did they neglect Houston’s greatest architectural wonder, but they caused the collapse of other great attractions around it, like Astroworld…
Okay this is cool but really, you got in the Astrodome and this is the only thing you have? I would have had to find the Astros locker room, The Oilers Locker room, the Press Box, the control room. I should have spent the day there exploring the innerworkings where no one would see you. There so many things in the dome and this is all you have??? Behind the stands there are miles and miles of concourses, Concessions, suites and the Skyboxes......Please tell me you have more.
All I see are the ghosts of the Houston Oilers. So much talent and potential, but the team was never a cohesive unit, and they had that lying, worthless snake known as Bud Adams as their owner. Oh, what could've been...
Selena Quintanilla performed there three times❤😊
Her last performance 🥲
R.i.p. Selena 🙏💔
Never forget WrestleMania 17
Wait,
happened there
Best wwf show of all time
*"Sixty thousand on the Astrodome, to see Rock - Austin!"*

This is Houston not New Orleans
I think you're thinking of the Superdome, which is still in use today for Concerts and is still the home of the New Orleans Saints.
I can still see Bad News Bear Tanner Boyle running around in the outfield. "Let them play, let them play, let them play"!
One of my favorites places. Sad to see it this way.
My Mom got 2 of the chairs for Christmas one year. Old memories for my family. Astros and HLS&R.🤠 I pray it stays.
A landmark in Houston, TX…go Astros and the old Houston Oilers football team. I hope it get repurposed.
Beautiful but sad😢

They can’t tear it down as it’s marked as historic by the historical society

That place is History
I remember going into the Astrodome when I was like 25-30 years old.
So many memories

R.I.P Selena Quintanilla Pérez ❤❤❤
selena last concert THEN VS NOW
They should restore the Astrodome. Its even on the National Register Of Historic Places s it can't be demolished at all.
Selenaaaa🌹🥀
Damn the memories
Currently staring at it in real life it’s a beaut. I wish we had a sports team that still used it but the renovation would be way too much.
😂👍🏻
I spent lots of time there when I was Yung from watching the Astros, AJ Foyt in mini racer ,demolition derby lots of things
I bet you have some great memories from here!
Sick as hell!
A legendary place in houston.
Remeber that iconic place , a guy i use to mechanic for raced his quad there in a Mickey Thompson championship off-road Grand Prix.
Love the music
I want this stadium❤❤
Is this where selena sang? Her last concert?
Yes this is where Selena performed her last astrodome concert.
Absolutely at The Rodeo in Astrodome 😢
Yes
Who miss this stadium 😢😢
R.I.P Oilers
Bring the Astros back for some exhibition games, only rule being bring your own seats
Me & My Son , and his friends Cheered many Games here then would go across Street to Astroworld , Now Demolished 😢
Let them play! Let them play! Let them play! Let them play!
They should have a singer tribute there
No seriously how were you able to get in , to enter you have to be real careful due to bacteria been there or is it a myth 🤔🤔🤔
They still have the football additional seats set up
Ima sing there like mj
Still got the football setup and baseball diamond visible
😌😎😎💪🏾💪🏾
reminds me of the map stadium in r6
This looks exactly like the place at the end of Akira
😮 Nơi Selena lấp đầy năng lực...điều đó cho thấy cô ấy là một siêu sao ❤❤
Should have let the Houston Texans play there
Still looks like it can be renovated. Electrical and plumbing can be upgraded. This place is sacred
A shame. It can be repurposed for just about anything. No need to just let it grow mold and rot. Imagine how dank it must be in there.
Selena Quintanilla last concert👩🎤🎙🎶

Who else knows of this place because of the one and only Selena Quintanilla Perez?
Why dont they just turn it into a hockey stadium and have houston start their own hockey team ?
The Houston Aeros 🥹
