It's Color of the Month time with ‪@NateBrightArt‬ and if you haven't seen his already, please do so here: • 'Almost Heaven' Cloud ... Our color this month is White! Easy just use it in base coat right? There is so much more to white that needs to meet your eye, especially when it comes to fluid arts. The white I'm using today is a mixture that I used a week or so ago in Nate's Lab Collab • Finger Painting! Nate'... It's Titanium white mixed with Vallejo Pearl Medium much like the one used in cloud pours but with a school glue medium instead of floetrol and I'm in love with the effects it creates. I've mixed my pouring medium 70% WHITE Elmers School Glue to 30% Water.
I mix my Tube Paint Colors 1part Paint to 2 parts Pouring Medium
For the Pigments I used Liquitex Gloss Varnish (Red Label) as a wetting agent and after the pigments are fully wet, I then mixed in 2prts School glue pouring medium just like my tube paints. You can add a Gloss Gel medium if needed to thicken them up.
