When you managed to get all the reward from Interlocking Competition, an epilogue will be shown, and therein revealed Pallas' real intention of inviting Rhodes to join the event. It is an attempt to improve Minos's reception towards the Infected. While Minos is pretty lenient, the discrimination are still very real. In fact, in that same epilogue, Pallas lamented how our Operators that are Infected are literally locked in the avenue, not permitted to go outside during off-hours, even for just sight-seeing. This is somehow hinted in one of the description of the stages in the event, where it basically goes: "Feel free to enjoy the things Minos can offer... if you're not Infected that is.". Heck, it's even implied that being the Infected is the biggest factor for Pallas to gave up on her dreams, as it seems Minos sees Oripathy as a "weakness", and thus, a perfect bonafide "hero" of Minos would never be an Infected.

I love her design and personality, Athena has ways been my second favorite deity and Pallas is a great shout out to her. I also found her plight way too realistic and compelling. Specially at the end of the Interlocking Event. She has this melancholy to her and with good reason. I hope she can get better in the future... and hopefully drink less. Also; I would also love to get the Sarkaz bodyguard as a unit, it would be an interesting addition as well.

If my assumption of minos representing Greece is correct then no, being called a hero is the highest title a human can get and along with it came the respect of the people not only for the hero but for his family and even the next family generation. If I remember correctly this happened to the champions of the Olympics, but I'm not sure, it's been a long time since I read that stuff.
Up until now I'm still hoping we can get generic NPC's as playable units, I won't even mind if they're just 3 stars with no VA. Ethan and W can't be the only one to join us from reunion.
