@@xoonaniart I think holbein a bit more creamier and more opaque, but not drastically. So I don't think you need to get holbein but if you are interested, I would recommend to get some of your favorite colors instead of getting a whole set 😉

Well hello! Nice to finally meet you! I love your little woodland creatures! I’ll have to try acrylic gouache sometime. The reactivating can be a bit frustrating with regular gouache.
@@xoonaniart 😂 yeah I have a lot of art supplies in that same category of I “may not need it” so I totally understand. I have slowed down to just getting individual tubes of watercolor here and there when I need a color and trying to behave.
Great video!! I loved getting to "meet" you, and I love your art. I'm glad you like Turner Acrylic gouache!! It's one of my favorites!! I actually like it much better than Holbein acrylic gouache. I find Holbein doesn't flow as well for me. It's still hard not to buy it, because the tubes look like little candies or something! 😅

Because of the price, I found a budget friendly alternative. Folk art matt acrylics. They work great, lots of colors and more vibrant when dry. Tried Liquidtex acrylia gouache, it was terrible, don't waste your money. Lov your art.
@@xoonaniart I think it is but I haven't tried all the colors. Also the binder separates inside the tubes. I recommend shake and squish tubes with your fingers for some more runny colors maybe it will help. It happened to one of my tubes.
Ja, wieder diese niedlichen Pilzwesen... Da ich selber mit dem Gedanken spiele, dieses Medium mal auszuprobieren, und Turner da einer der potentiellen Kandidaten ist - ein anderer wäre vllt Liquitex. Hast du die auf dem Schirm?
Hi! I think I used mainly the Arrtx colored pencils. They are very soft like Prismacolor which are oil based. but I can't find if the Arrtx are oil or wax based, I can only guess..feels like oil based.. I also used the Faber Castell Polychromos. These are wax based.

I have a few tubes of regular Turner gouache. I am still haven't convinced myself to buy more. I like the price it is affordable.
Are the regular Turner Gouache also more juicy? Or are they more compact in their consistency?

Are your colored pencils wax or oil based? I can’t make out what brand they are.

I don’t know why, but from some reason I expected the paint to look the same on both the white and black paper 🤦
