I don't see the point of the "Dyer's Green" being included in the set. That's just indigo and curcuma, which also come in the set.

Ein superschönes Video❤ ich liebe Softpastell auch sehr, man kann so schöne Übergänge damit malen , soooo soft! Aber man muss echt aufpassen, dass es nicht "verschmiert"😅

Gouache IS watercolor

On Pastelmat you don't need a fixative and the colors came out very smooth and vibrant. I use Pan Pastels as a first layer and then soft Pastels and pencils on top😊. Love your work❤!

I've completed 4 sketchbooks from this brand. I absolutely love the paper they use! It's not too thick or thin. I usual use watercolors and I love how bulky the sketchbook can get with them. It takes water well. My favorite is the square and the A4 size. The one with landscape format form me has a weak binding, I've bought 2 separately and it comes apart a bit. I really wish they would make 20cm x 20cm square sketchbook. I would buy so many! Your idea of splitting an A4 sounds really good, I would love to see how you make it, I wouldn't know how to cut it apart efficiently

The dusty mess is a dealbreaker for me, so I only rarely use soft pastels on top of watercolor to smooth out the textures, and for smoky effects. Blending the colors is very satisfying though!

When you said that in the last video about those being the only colours i was like.... they're probably underneath! But i also realised that you could not hear me talking to you in your prerecorded video 😆

Lovely! ❤ I'm not a huge fan of pastels because of the mess and needing a fixative. That said you use the same techniques of building color I would use in watercolor or mixed media. ❤

I bought the big box of Prismacolor pastels some years ago to use for coloring books to help save time with filling in the larger areas only to use them about five or six times where upon I seen all the mess they created and how Your not suppose to blow the dust off the page as you can then end up breathing it into your lungs and they have sat on the shelf unused ever since.

Especially my Roman szmal watercolor paints 😊 And the tourmaline watercolor paints from mijello are also on my wishlist 😅 But I want to see swatches of them first, before I decide to order them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Tip for the sticky paper on the Roman Szmal, i put the pans face down on an ice pack in the freezer for 5 minutes. When they are chilled, the paper comes right off! I saw the tip in the comments of someone elses video and it works perfectly. I love these paints and i sometimes spend wayyyy too long looking at their swatch card in my local art shop trying to choose just one or two colours 😆 they only have full pans though

Bei Gerstaecker gibt es auch Aquarellfarbe von Mijello, die Rembrandt und endlich auch die White Nights (auch die Shimmering Collection) und sogar Holbein, wenn es nicht gerade ausverkauft ist. In der Winteraktion sind sogar die Mijello Farben im Angebot und einige Farben von Daniel Smith im Näpfchen 20% reduziert.

Ah congrats on the new supplies 😍 I've seen someone swatch all of the mijello granulating watercolors but I was still surprised and impressed when I saw you swatch them 😍 I'm not into greens but forest green is so gorgeous! And white night sunset mist is beautiful too!

I would love to have a Sap Green or something similar in the Rembrandt palette if it were mine. Lovely haul!
