We've also known Twelve Tales Conker 64 has been saved for a bit now. Back when Rare Replay was coming out, Rareware uploaded a video showing the history of Bad Fur Day and the even showed new footage of Conker 64, showing it running on what seemed to be an emulator. So Rare does have parts of it still.
Same is true for Project Dream (The N64 version) and the Killer Instinct N64 port, no footage of the latter though, just a photo that showed the labeled EEPROMs, cheeky bastard he is
Thing is, the only Twelve Tales footage they showed in that video was a build seemingly dated around its E3 1997 showing (the early hud and book menu match up), when it was just called "Conker's Quest". The build on Tim's cart clearly post-dates both that, and the 30-minute VHS build.
Okay, this year has been THE YEAR of kids show pilots. Bubble Guppies, SUPER WHY, Ni Hao Kai-lan prototypes, BLUES CLUES. All we need is team umizoomi + backyardigans then I can die in peace lmao edit for spelling

I know it's not the usual lost media you report on here, but two days ago the TH-cam channel "Old Films and Stuff" uploaded 41 seconds of previously undiscovered footage of the lost silent film _Cleopatra_ (1917). Apparently, it was included in an online listing for an old toybox projector, having been snipped out of the film for use with the projector long ago. The channel's operator purchased the listing, then restored and digitized the film. Not the same as getting the whole film, but an extremely fortunate find nonetheless.

I know this video is like a month old now, but one piece of lost media that I was really hoping to be found was just recently found and ROMs are/have already been dumped, and that’s the Um Jammer Lammy NOW arcade machine. For those who don’t know, Um Jammer Lammy is the spin-off game to the well known PaRappa the Rapper series, and it had an arcade game from 1999 that had been lost for 22 years up until the beginning of this year when it was shown that someone had a working machine. It only just recently got all of its footage uploaded to TH-cam. The cabinets thought to have either been destroyed for not being popular enough or there was only very few to have thought to exist. So glad it was finally found, it seemed to be a case of someone not knowing it was even lost and was just randomly uploaded on Reddit.
Bro considering Tim Stamper having Conker meaning the game is found is stupid. I've been a part of the proto game community for like 20+ years now and it's been known for a long time private collectors have copies of 12 Tales, so by your logic the games never been lost.. I implore you to rethink that one.
Stuff like this is why I think there should be a distinction between "Found" media and "Saved" media, because with this, it's confimed 100% that Twelve Tales is Found, as we know that it exists and where it is, however it's definitely not "Saved" as we don't know if Tim Stamper has dumped it, even if it's for himself, and even then we have no way to reproduce it which would lead it becoming harder to lose and thus, Saved.
I've always been really interested in lost media and archiving in general, and more recently I've been getting into lost vocaloid songs - which, shockingly, are pretty common. so many vsynth songs only have short vocarank clips, and some are so short that it's very unlikely that they will be found. seeing things that people have been searching for for so long finally getting found makes me so unbelievably happy, and I really hope that some of these lost vocaloid songs can be found too, and the community doesn't have to remake them according to the little that they could remember anymore... they're just not the same. I'm taking steps to archive certain things related to a niche interest of mine, because it's a collectible toy line with a TV series, and those tend to just disappear once they're over. I know one of the people who works on it and I don't want all his and his team's hard work to fall off the face of the planet any time in the future. I mostly archive the physical comics though, and work on scan-translations for them because they're all in Spanish or Polish and not English. right now, all of the show is still up though, and I want to keep it that way.
Yeah no until we can play it ourselves Twelve Tales is not found. No one has been saying there's 0 copies too. At least no one has for a while now. Dev kits for Mother 64 probably still exist, that doesn't mean it's found. The same logic would be saying a whole entire lost cartoon is found because someone filmed just the theme song on their tv.
I agree with you, because among all the definitions for lost media the one that sticked with me the most is that every media that doesn''t exist publicly, as in, the public doesn't have access to it, is lost media
If there was one topic I’ll love to see you talk about, it would be a Saturday morning cartoon called Saturday Supercade. The 40th anniversary is coming up on the 17th and there’s a lot of lost media for that show. If you see this comment LSuperSonicQ, thank you.
Here is something also to help with the last short of Downward Doghouse: If the creator of the show is still alive, maybe we could contact the creator of it.
There was also another piece of lost media that got found just last month and it was a 30 second animated “anti-hate/bigotry” PSA called “Hate Hurts You”. Which was created by an organization called the Jewish Chautauqua Society all the way back in 1974. It apparently scared a lot of kids that were watching it when it aired, although nowadays it’s not really scary albeit a bit unnerving to watch in my opinion. However, the full song kind of slaps though.
I haven't been able to look through my VHS tapes,I highly doubt I have any lost media though since I always had to record over older shows cause no one wanted to give me anymore VHS tapes .-. but still it does make me wonder what's on all of my old VHS tapes anyway, but I can't wach them,I no longer have a VCR
8:34 whoever wrote that LMA article for the third episode definitely shouldn’t have used produced. If he said he in the interview he wrote it, that is different from saying he produced it. Produced means you’re a project manager. You manage the staff, the schedule, the finances, the quality of work, SOMETHING that involves other people. A pilot tends to be written by one person on their own dime. There’s nothing to produce in the writing stage, since it isn’t a bunch of people writing it. It’s one. So… yeah, that script probably is on a shelf with some story board sketches that never went beyond that.
I freaked out when I found out the Blue's Prints pilot was fully found. First a Paper Mario TTYD remake, and now this. How could this year get any better?
I know ill be alone in this one. But am i the only one who FREAKS OUT now than he sees the Bubble Guppies Pilot? Idk, Its just the quality of the animation, the lightning, the characters and how weird they look. Maybe im alone, but i just needed it to get out of me-
I'll never understand why when people mention twelve tales they also don't mention the extensive gameplay rare put on their yt channel, the game still existed before that person showed his copies
Really wish you'd make a video on Don't Be Late. I ask about it on every video, but someone out there has to have the disc for the game, considering how popular Macross Frontier is.
Just realized that all of these cartoons are from my childhood :D especially downward doghouse and bubble guppies!! i also feel like i used to see aggressive vegetables every time i would watch cartoon at night.
Twelve tails is a awkward situation, because while all that needs to happen is for Tim Stamper to dump the games, but unlike the stuck up game collectors who people often fight with, He would get legally annihilated by nintendo (especially with the spaceworld zelda demo).
Holy crap I spent HOURS playing that uncle gus game as a little homuculus! You opened a piece of my brain I totally forgot. Dude I sucked at that game.
I think the reason he did dump conker 64 is because of legal reason. wether its Nintendo because it has its logo and it has to do with N64 or if it from Microsoft because they own Conker and Rare.
Yeah, it's a copyright minefield, the only thing that eases this is that Nintendo and Microsoft are on good terms, so if they also had copies, they could make some kind of collab and release it (similar to how we got Goldeneye on the NSO), but it's so unlikely that it'll happen.
It being in the possession of the creator really doesn't make it found at all. Socks the Cat Rocks the Yard wasn't considered found just cause one guy had it. It doesn't matter to me if he created it. I get why he wouldn't dump it and it's good that it's still in existence, but there's in no way this can be considered 'found'.
This might sound kinda silly, but I get kinda sad when lost media is found. Yes, I’m always happy that what ever was found can be properly archived, but watching the search being conducted is always so entertaining. It’s also fun finding new leads.
Yeah its amazing every month or two I check this channel and its always the same thing and then I scroll the comments and there is that one person bringing up something old and historical and amazingly hard to find that was found or some classic piece that has a lead and is historical content. They maybe have one or two that will like it. But the videos and topics are always the same. A 20 second commercial from some Nickelodeon show was found. No one knew it was lost and most dont care but that and 50 others commercials, show intros and other Nickelodeon content are the topic of the video. I guess for this guy there is no other video content out there. It should be titled the Nickelodeon clip show. It would give a better description of the channel. I keep saying I wont watch anymore but I feel for that one commenter discussing historic or really deep lost content being found or a lead pops up. I try to give them a like and let them know your not alone. But find classic early movie clips or pieces are not only fascinating but historical. They usually show advancement in film technology or seeing some people early or starting their careers. So much fascinating stuff. But I rambled on for so long without saying those pieces are amazing. It crazy stuff over a 100 yo can still be found but stuff is out there. In vaults, attics, storage areas and basements among other places and watching it is amazing after all these years. So you are not alone friend, some of us are interested in more different and varied media. But I guess a 10 or 15 year old 20 sec commercial is important too. See you next month.
I'm just glad that at least one episode of the weird Wolfman Jack cartoon series was found. Sure, it's a rebroadcast version of Wolf Rock TV that's part of a Kidd Video block (we're missing Wolf Rock's individual end credits), but at least we finally got to see what the show was like. more importantly, we got to see why it was impossible to rebroadcast or release on video. There's a LOT of news at the top of the charts, celebrity interviews, and music videos that instantly date the series at the broadest to the year it came out. They can surly be edited out, leaving only the cartoon segments (the still frames of musicians that require royalties in the opening included), but it would leave weird, awkward gaps.
so basically, what we learned this year was your best bet for finding lost media is always just to ask literally anyone you can get in touch with extremely politely
that conker's twelve tales thing makes me think of mean girls DS. ray mona DID find it, but it hasn't been dumped yet so people don't know whether to call it lost or found

There are vocaloid comics?
@@BinglesP no, I was talking about the other thing, the kids' toys and TV show. it has a series of comics.
Yeah no until we can play it ourselves Twelve Tales is not found. No one has been saying there's 0 copies too. At least no one has for a while now. Dev kits for Mother 64 probably still exist, that doesn't mean it's found. The same logic would be saying a whole entire lost cartoon is found because someone filmed just the theme song on their tv.
its dumb to think carts wouldnt exist of it with how much of the game they had made by then too, i dont think it was widely thought as completely lost
Channel is “Prenits Dupree Jr 2” and the video is “Blue Prints - Blue’s Clues pilot (Full Pilot)”.
Here is something also to help with the last short of Downward Doghouse: If the creator of the show is still alive, maybe we could contact the creator of it.
There’s credits at the end of follow that slipper too so maybe we could contact them and they might know something from it
Grouper’s face at 9:20 would make a great meme template lmao
If the original Me And My Friends pilot is revealed to have been wiped off existence I will smash my computer to piece.
my favorite year 2023 II
I really hope the Team Oomie Zoomie pilot gets found, i remember watching that show when I was younger
>hype
>shows for toddlers
what
LOL
The Bubble Guppies pilot looks a bit like Stop-Motion with the shading, perhaps it was a test for making the series look like stop motion?
There was also another piece of lost media that got found just last month and it was a 30 second animated “anti-hate/bigotry” PSA called “Hate Hurts You”. Which was created by an organization called the Jewish Chautauqua Society all the way back in 1974. It apparently scared a lot of kids that were watching it when it aired, although nowadays it’s not really scary albeit a bit unnerving to watch in my opinion. However, the full song kind of slaps though.
I LOVED BUBBLE GUPPIES! OH MY LORD!
If it's truly the Year of Found Media, you should celebrate by releasing those remaining pages of Behind Closed Doors to the Internet Archive. 😤
real
Just saying, the fresh beat band of spies pilot has been found 9 months ago?, I'm surprised that he hasn't covered it yet.
the day we find me and my friends will be the day I can die happy
We need to find the lost victorious pilot where Rex (the puppet) has a different voice entirely!!! (It’s found in an ad promoting the first episode.)
8:06 cameo
I know Rare shown off Conker Twelve Tales gameplay on their TH-cam channel a couple years ago as part of a celebration. They’ve always had it
loving the uploads dude!
On the topic of nick jr, OSWALD IS ON PARAMOUNT+
Hey bro did you upload a video about fake video game rumors recently I feel like I’ve seen it on my recommended yesterday or something where did it go
Yo i came here to ask too! I was saving it for later, looking forward to watching it, but it's deleted now: (
@@psyduck8025 dang bro that sucks
@@psyduck8025 why did it get deleted?
@@unkn0wn-fr88 your guess is as good as mine. Maybe it was copyright issues or maybe there was inaccurate information so he wanted to re-edit it 🤷🏽
Same thing I was thinking I thought I was just imagining things 😅
Pretty cool finds!!
Now if only someone out there can find the full Power Rangers Bioman Pilot.
We STILL have New Pop Sunday on the Notice board, let's go!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Blue’s clues pilot has been found
8:34 whoever wrote that LMA article for the third episode definitely shouldn’t have used produced.
People play loose with definitions, especially on some silly webpages
Ni hao kai-lan and blues clues giving me that painful nostalgia feeling. I miss being a kid 😢
I REALLY want the team umizoomi pilot to be found soon
7:10 hey look it’s me
I freaked out when I found out the Blue's Prints pilot was fully found.
Maybe im alone, but i just needed it to get out of me-
And I thought I was the only one.. I guess both of us feel the same way lol
we will all some day become lost media
I'll never understand why when people mention twelve tales they also don't mention the extensive gameplay rare put on their yt channel, the game still existed before that person showed his copies
Really wish you'd make a video on Don't Be Late. I ask about it on every video, but someone out there has to have the disc for the game, considering how popular Macross Frontier is.
Never knew the Bubble Guppies liked to cover themselves in grease after getting a tan
Plus they may be unstable!
If there's a part 3 you should include the found original version of the Victum #1 image from the creepy SMW rom hack simply named MARIO.
This might sound kinda silly, but I get kinda sad when lost media is found. Yes, I’m always happy that what ever was found can be properly archived, but watching the search being conducted is always so entertaining. It’s also fun finding new leads.
So I know you mostly cover animation related lost media, but a 40 second clip of Theda Bara's Cleopatra surfaced a couple weeks ago.
The Toon Heads segment got some insane quality for being recorded on VHS. wow
What happened to the fake game rumors video you posted lol
Yeah I was halfway through it lol
I love lost media. Especially when you talk about it
monke pfp
Why are people saying this video has no audio? It does
Maybe a glitch
Uncle gus looks like the big nate books
It’s made by the same person, Lincoln Pierce
i knew uncle gus's art style looked familiar
I really do hope we get SOME way to play Twelve Tales...
It sure feels like it's been a year lmao
Hope you do a video covering the Wallykazam! pilot.
Bubble guppies and nihao kai lan.
Classic shows..
Oh wow love these shows.
well, alot has been found in 2023
so basically, what we learned this year was your best bet for finding lost media is always just to ask literally anyone you can get in touch with extremely politely
that conker's twelve tales thing makes me think of mean girls DS. ray mona DID find it, but it hasn't been dumped yet so people don't know whether to call it lost or found
Not mentioning the toh pilot in either of these videos is actually wild
Or The Bluey Pilots
The main audience of this channel is autistic and low-functioning adults who unironically still watch Bubble Guppies- of course they wouldn't care about something like that.
First Nickelodeon with Clockman and now Cartoon Network with Plugman.
Does Disney have one called Outletman?
I just hope we find the Thomas and Friends Down The Mine 1983 Pilot episode some day because that one is the one I want to be found the most right now.
The Footage was secured by Mattel, because they're waiting to release the 80th Anniversary Physical Media Collection.
Yes, i need to find a pilot of that 🤯
@@michaelanguiano5528 Maybe wait until 2025.
HELLO GUYS I AM HERE
Yay it's this time
i would be so happy if you could make a video of wolf 2010 bc mitten kittens got found
Nothing like adults searching for lost kids shows.
Tell me about it.
