Well clearly you never owned or rode these bikes - the Arial Square 4 notoriously overheats - the Atlas 750 eats its mains if revved - the BSA A65 suffers from internal corrosion until it reverts to plain bearings on the MK3 - engines that last are things like Norton ES2 or AJS 16
Got those right. Beeza B31 and B33 will run until the cows come home. I’m glad the Tiger 500 gets plaudits rightly….more reliable than the 650 twin carb jobs. The Bonneville would happily go off song when the sun disappeared. Never smooth. The last ones may have been the tops but the 500’s were the best.
I was waiting for the Vincent to get a mention. I cannot understand why do people come up with such rubbish that anyone who knows bikes, know differently.
I had a Venom, and before that a BSA A65 Spitfire Mk2. The Velocette engine was bulletproof, but the BSA A65 had a serious weakness as crankshaft end float control depended on a timing side bush that could fail.
Some nice pictures of well-restored bikes spoiled by AI commentary. As for these engines lasting forever, what a joke! The Ariel Square Four used to cook it's cylinders and the Norton Atlas used to run its main bearings. Hardly surprising really, the engine was originally a 500cc twin which pushed out 29 bhp on a good day. The 850 Commando engine was even worse. Dunno much about the Triumph Trident except that the Honda 750 Four was a far superior motor cycle for the average rider. I'll agree that the more modern Hinkley Triumphs are much better. I've owned two.
BSA Gold Star lasts forever with only routine maintenance? Yeah, sure. Which one? Because the name was applied to more than one engine, and the 500 single's life expectancy was based on how long you could withstand the vibration at high speed. The Velo engine now, the owner's manual had to tell people not to over-maintain them. There's a lot still around.
Bollox ,random photos ,square four was a disaster, the back pair of barrels were prone to seizing triumph tiger race victories ,photo peter hickman at the tt on a bmw. Reduced oil leaks yep four instead of five
Are you an apprentice journalist? Either way you need to do your research. Square four s, triumph triples, original bullets were all fragile in some respect hampering longer term reliability, especially if in the hands of wannabes like you. You nearly got it right with the A10, but that was mistakenly inserted during the Beeza singles bit. Like they say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, or was simply a case of classic clickbait 😂😂
Why show a Gold Flash when rating the Gold Star.

Crank broke bigtime on my 1953 2 port Squariel (1970 , i paid £35 for it)😬

The Sunbeam S7 was known as the "Gentleman's Motorcycle", the Ariel Square Four was known as the "Squariel".

This "Chinese AI" comment is absolutely unbearable...! As for the "unwearable English engines", what jokes!!!🤔😂

The voice in this video sounds artificial. Is it a machine talking.....
Indeed, artificial intelligence. Give it a script and it reads it in that strangenotright sound ing way.
@@thedp6736 I don't like it.
You talk some crap.
BSA A10 was the daddy.
Sad to say that british innovations today is manufactured in lndia...i don't think so if it last forever and hopely it will..
