Did ya cross-member that plywood to keep it from sagging on you? One of those 2X8s running between the cabinets "I" beam style should work for ya! Hey, and bolting together milk crates make great open storage for things like those Tonka trucks! Good to see you back into the swing of things! Good luck in the new home!
I have not yet. I just ordered a new metal cabinet for some lockable storage. Once that is in I will get my bench mounted for good. Soon I hope. I cannot wait to start running trains again. I think I have like 5 or so new engines to try out.

Go back to Home Depot etc. Get great stuff expanding foam Anti pest. There’s something in it they don’t like the smell or taste. Or whatever brand you wish. You need to fill the gap at the back towards the wall is where I mean. If you don’t a mouse will get in there and build his nest. They run along the wall and they can squeeze in there.
Yeah that is on my list. I bought some foam. I just need to do it. It has been cold and I have been working on some inside projects. Soon enough I will get that done.
