Nearly every theme park has some sort of scaled-down 'city streets'... Universal finally said, "let's just build full-scale city streets!" And they actually did it. Can't wait to see this in real life next year!
@@dj_blandy But what about that is so impressive? They always could do that if they wanted to, building to scale isn’t going to add anything other than money to the budget or a scaling back of other things potentially

The Ministry of Magic looks amazing!! So excited to use the floo network. I feel no nostalgia for Fantastic Beasts, but it looks like I'll be able to enjoy Paris just for the beauty and detail alone!
One cool detail from the books that they kept was that the fireplaces on the left are used for entering and the fireplaces on the right are used for exiting. Pretty cool

I really hope that the people building this are big fans of the franchise and deliver unlimited easter eggs along the way. Thank you for bringing this to life Universal team. Much love

I still think that the FB films could be better, especially if it was focusing on Newt and the beasts and had the Dumbledore and Grindelwald conflict as its own storyline.
I’m so excited to see how this ride is done. All we know is scoop vehicle but it appears to go up, down, sideways and everything. Hearing spider man meets tower of terror and I’m so here for it!
Trying hard not to get emotional over this. Been to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, and it truly is insane how excited I am for this. I live nearby, so it gets much easier for me to go. Will definitely go at one point, maybe a year after it opens. (Don't want the long lines)
Universal is trying to avoid the line problem, and trying to boost attendance at their other parks, so their ticketing system is different. To get a ticket for EU, you have to buy 3 tickets, and only use ONE on EU
This is such an amazing addition! We are so excited to not only visit the world, but also to be a part of helping book amazingly epic vacations for other families. 2025 cant come soon enough!
Might want to wait a few months before things die down and rides stop constantly breaking down. A concession of visiting a theme park after it has just opened is it is essentially in its beta phase, it saves money to go when it is fully working
Ehhhhhhhhhh… There’s a difference between ONE of their parks being better and ALL of their parks being better. And then again, we’re only talking about the Florida zone here. If you look at any other location where Universal is competing with Disney, (California, Japan, etc) Disney is winning by a lot
Amazing Video amazing Land and amazing theme park universal studios, Orlando, Florida epic universe is amazing. Have an amazing day universal and everyone who sees this comment stay positive and keep moving forward 🌈🎉
WOW! The CG on this in really incredible!! ESPECIALLY some of the textures. If you look closely on some of that brickwork in the Ministry... seriously GORGEOUS job by the animation team!
I love that part of ‘The Making of Harry Potter’ in Leavesden, the tiles are awesome and the ministry buildings and windows are awesome. At Epic, this will be scaled up and more immersive, so even more awesome. I think it will be quite some time before I’d be able to afford a trip back to Orlando - maybe it will be the Universal UK park before I get back to Orlando - so I’m going to have to make do with TH-cam videos.
One of the few remaining examples of capitalism still working as intended. Build a great product, sell it for a reasonable price, profit. There's still competition in the marketplace and not coordinated price fixing. They're spending money on expansion and not on think tanks looking for any way to screw the customer out of their hard earned money or laying off all their staff to save a quick buck. Just build something amazing, that's all they have to do. And they've done beautifully.
This park looks absolutely EPIC 😂❤ I can’t wait to stay in the hotel and look out the windows and see the attractions! It will truly be a unique experience. 👏🏻💯
The disconnect between the 1920s Paris environment and modern-day London Ministry attraction is really bad, evidence of conceptual weakness. I fear Universal is just hoping people don't notice, kind of shrugging like "well, it's the best we can do." Unfortunately, while guests may intellectually not identify why "it's not working for them" they will certainly feel the disconnect in a lack of immersion and emotional resonance. You know how Galaxy's Edge fails to stir the magic in long time Star Wars fans because it doesn't feel familiar enough...regardles of the bazillions they invested? That's a lack of resonance, when a themed environment or experience doesn't quite work on an emotional level...regardless of how objectively gorgeous or lavish the execution. I really hope that Universal figures out an elegant way to link the 1920s Paris and modern-day Umbridge attraction story. It's an opportunity to not just fix this clash of ideas, it is an opportunity to take theme park story-telling to an even higher level where a narrative, a character arc, a story can be revealed through different perspectives and histories. Instead of a clumsy design it becomes truly innovative similar to how "Sleep No More" expands the idea of theater.
