- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has officially revealed his upcoming NASCAR broadcast role for 2025. He will join Amazon's Prime Broadcast and TNT Sports. Dale details his new role, and how excited he is about the fresh approach Amazon will bring to NASCAR coverage.

The mid 2000s broadcasts were the best ones. Speed weeks, watching practice, watching qualifying, building the drama of the weekend up. Bring victory lane back because covid is over, i miss seeing the crew celebrate because it shows the group as a team.
They still have victory lane, they just rarely show it on the broadcasts anymore. They may show a bit of it on the post race shows, but that's it.
Victory lane interviews stopped in 2017, loooooooong before covid

I think this is great. Streaming services have been the norm for years now, and I think this will make NASCAR accessible
to a whole new audience, as well as the old heads, and Dale is the perfect man for the job. Congrats, sir!
Need less commercials, more "turn it up" moments because we wanna hear the cars more than bullshit commentary to fill up "dead air", and of course a Nascar version of "Inside the NBA". Lets go. Dale will bring the legends in the booth and it's gonna be awesome.

Commercials, commercials, commercials! You are exactly right! So sick of the broadcast being loaded down with them that I cannot even stand to tune in for the first 2/3 of the event. That's when they load the highest commercial percentage! They are so focused on increasing the already 8 figure revenue stream that they lose sight of what is important to the fans!
Be rad if Amazon offered an option to stream the straight satellite feed with zero commentary.

This is badass news. Looking forward to a more in-depth post race and easier access to some races through amazon. I know Jr loves the old broadcast flows and I hope he’s able to bring in more of the good stuff. And better race coverage that actually sees the action.

AMAZON AND DALE MEANS THERE ARE SMART PEOPLE SOME WHERE MAKING DECISIONS.
Y'all should try to create an evironment like Inside The NBA. Inside The NBA on TNT is like 4 friends just having fun while talking basketball, and goofing on each other. All those hilarious stories from Charles Barkley, and how easy it is to make him look foolish, made that show a classic.
The one thing I miss about NASCAR Broadcasting is broadcasting LIVE from the track all weekend long. If we can have a SPEED Channel-type of channel, either streaming or on tv, I'm all in for. Have broadcasts between each session on the track and then some. No more of how FOX does almost everything from their Charlotte Studio. Set up a Stage, get some great talent to broadcast in front of a crowd from the track (Trackside-like) and the viewers will hopefully come back. When FOX ended SPEED, the quality of broadcasts went down the drain quickly. NBC did a decent job at it, but this being all new with Amazon and Turner, its a chance to make a HUGE impact with their long time fans and new fans.
what would they be broadcasting all weekend long? 30 minutes of practice? qualifiying? there is quite literally nothing going on. I go to 10 race weekends every year, and i promise you, there is nothing going on at the race track anymore. well, maybe when it is raining you can hear the jet driers. there is only so much kyle petty i can handle.

I think this is a great move! Hopefully the first 2/3 of the races doesn't get so loades with commercials that I have to just tune out like I do now. I hust change the channel back to catch the end of the races now for that very reason. We definitely need to see more post race reactions from the drivers as well.

Im not paying anymore for my already way to expensive phone bill, and the service sucks already, but I will have to check on the race the following day like I've been doing this year, sorry to say that but it is what it is 😮
Just get better internet and get a streaming service like TH-cam TV Then you can get rid of TV service provided by the phone company

The booth is huge but the tv direction is even more important in my opinion. Hopefully it can step up for upcoming events.
Amazon has had commercials for some time now, unless you pay extra. The commercials across all streaming platforms, bar Netflix which is yet to go with commercials, is SO out of control. Then you have the in broadcast live reads, then the drivers telling us about their spo sponsors every 30 seconds like we can't see that giant lunk of not stock stock car in HD/4k.
We are back to what drove us all off cable and satellite tv in the first place, commercials with actual shows sprinkled in between. But now with increased live reads during broadcast which makes it even worse.
Dale Jr is a fantastic broadcaster and his love of the sport is obvious so he will succeed, but count me out.
Now if you don't mind I need to sit through a 10 sec ad break for a 30 second video.

I’m really excited. I genuinely believe that the prime broadcasts of football are the best visually compared to all of the competition. I think it’s time to change the way that you all broadcast the races and how we watch them.

If you find the right package, it's only really 2. If you want to see practice and qualifying, then 3
TH-cam TV month to month (no contract) and prime (month to month) will still be cheaper than any other platforms and this knocks it down to two.
Most people have prime already for free fast shipping and prime shows .
Unlimited DVR and six accounts for TH-cam TV helps.

nfl and nascar being the only things on tv i watch... can't see it for 1/2 the seasons cause of money grabbing ideas.

Two different subscriptions to watch racing? Guess I won’t be able to watch it anymore. Very stupid in my eyes. They have been doing their best to get rid of the fans that made the sport what it is today for a long time and this is just another gut punch.
Can watch all the races except for the five on Amazon on TV You don't need a subscription service out side of what you have. Don't be asking questions Because you should be able to understand without asking
