Please I just purchased an alto Sax
The mouthpiece is metal and I find it quite difficult to blow, especially the low keys. I've followed the previous videos and I try to play along but I still cannot hit the right notes and sustain.
Please I need your help

size of reed and size of your mouthpiece might be the challenge.
metal mouthpiece of size 7 with reed above 2.5 might be too hard for you to make a sound.
I recommend size 4C mouthpiece and reed Rico (2.5) vandoreen (2.0) for a start.

Learning was in a year but perfecting is even still ongoing. I grow everyday as I practice what I have learnt. My experience also grows. But one year coaching with a tutor should get you grounded professionally..... something you can then build on.
