@@roundtailrestoration stripped out carpet and seats today. Not much left of the floors. time to find best solution to fix them. Have limited welding techniques.
Thanks for showing how the floor goes in. Are you going to replace the inner sill too? I believe Hazen Wardle has a video on how to make that rounded lip. I'll try to send a link.
If you mean the rear radius arm bracket thing, yes it will go back in, but not until the floor is replaced. I have to drill a hole in the floor for a bolt that runs up from the bottom into the bracket...easier to do with the floor in place. It'll be the same as for the driver's side for that part.
Great video! Five years since you posted but very helpful to me.
Thank you. I'm glad it helped!
Wow, I like how you don't let any spot unchecked and keep digging more and more until you reach the bottom of the cancer. That's the way!
Elin Yakov Thanks, Elin. I'm afraid I'll miss something and in a few years it will find me, so I'm trying to get it all out of there!
Thanks for showing how to fit the floor, it'll really help
I hope so. You're quite welcome! Good luck.
Much appreciated. Starting my floors soon. MK3
Thanks for watching! Good luck!

@@always10poundsover56 I'm not sure about something that wouldn't require welding. Maybe patches?

Yup, the whole thing over on that side. Lower A post, floor, inner sill, strengthener and outer sill. Whooppee!
Wow. So that part you took out in front of the heel board is not going back in...
Found it: www.triumphexp.com/journal/byakk0/15013 (not a video though)

why not go in from the top?
New York no good reason other than that was the way it fit best for me.
