“The great Creator assembled the heavenly host, that he might in the presence of all the angels confer special honor upon his Son. The Son was seated on the throne with the Father, and the heavenly throng of holy angels was gathered around them. The Father then made known that it was ordained by himself that Christ, his Son, should be equal with himself; so that wherever was the presence of his Son, it was as his own presence. The word of the Son was to be obeyed as readily as the word of the Father. His Son he had invested with authority to command the heavenly host. Especially was his Son to work in union with himself in the anticipated creation of the earth and every living thing that should exist upon the earth. His Son would carry out his will and his purposes, but would do nothing of himself alone. The Father's will would be fulfilled in him.” 1SP 17.2
Theologians and Scholars today claim, that Ellen White became a Trinitarian with the writing of the Desire of Ages in 1898. They tend to dumb down the people with their narrow quotes. Here are many points within the book that show us otherwise. Keep in mind in 1909 six years before her death, she wrote this statement in Testimonies for the Church, vol. 9, 189.3: “They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit-the Spirit of Christ-is to bring unity into their ranks.” If she was Trinitarian, she would have removed “Spirit of Christ” and wrote “God the Holy Spirit”. It is the Spirit of Christ that comes to us as a third person of the Godhead. Not someone else. Theologians and Scholars will sometimes say that Ellen White matured and with that, her beliefs changed when she got older. Well she grew up as a Methodist and knew what the Trinitarian doctrine was. In 1898 when the Desire of Ages came out, she was 71. Was she matured by then? How about 1909 when she clearly identifies the third person as the Spirit of Christ at age 82 in the Testimonies, vol. 9? How big of a lie do these leaders need to make? “All things Christ received from God, but He took to give. So in the heavenly courts, in His ministry for all created beings: through the beloved Son, the Father's life flows out to all; through the Son it returns, in praise and joyous service, a tide of love, to the great Source of all.” - (Desire Of Ages, p. 21) - Christ received everything from His Father including His life. "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." - John 5:26 “The dedication of the first-born had its origin in the earliest times. God had promised to give the First-born of heaven to save the sinner.” - (Desire of Ages, p. 51) - Jesus was the Son of God before He came to Earth. The trinity doctrine teaches all three are one god and that the Father sent Himself to die playing the role of the Son. Modern Adventism also claims that the church’s pioneers that formed the faith did not believe in Christ as the Son of God prior to his human birth in Bethlehem. This is very dishonest. “Satan well knew the position that Christ had held in heaven as the Beloved of the Father. That the Son of Godshould come to this earth as a man filled him with amazement and with apprehension. He could not fathom the mystery of this great sacrifice.” - (Desire of Ages, p. 115) - Same comment as above. “While Jesus ministers in the sanctuary above, He is still by His Spirit the minister of the church on earth. He is withdrawn from the eye of sense, but His parting promise is fulfilled, “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Matt. 28:20. While He delegates His power to inferior ministers, His energizing presence is still with His church.” - (Desire of Ages, p. 166) - It is the Holy Spirit of Christ here on Earth working in us, not another being as per the trinity doctrine which is Satan's counterfeit for the Godhead. “The Saviour had spoken through all the prophets. “The Spirit of Christ which was in them” “testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” - (Desire of Ages, p. 234) - The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament was also the Holy Spirit of Christ and not another literal being as per the trinity doctrine.

Even using the word ‘unique’ instead of ‘only begotten’ is a denial of His birth in heaven. Jesus was born of Mary on this earth, but He was not God’s Son by the Holy Spirit -- He never called the Spirit His Father. Jesus was God’s true Son from heaven; God the Father is truly a Father, but not from the Incarnation. When we see Jesus as a human being, we are seeing the divine Son of God clothed in humanity. At times His divinity flashed through His humanity “A complete offering has been made; for ‘God so loved the world, that he gave His only-begotten Son’ - not a son by creation, as were the angels, nor a son by adoption, as is the forgiven sinner, but a Son begotten in the express image of the Father’s person, and in all the brightness of His majesty and glory, one equal with God in authority, dignity, and divine perfection. In Him dwelt all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” “The Fatherhood of God is given to us in the gift of Jesus Christ; and as God was one with his only begotten Son, so he would have his earthly children one with him..” “O that everyone would realize the great love, the self-sacrifice, the benevolence, and the kindness of our heavenly Father, in giving his Son to die for us that we might, if we believe and do his commandments, have a sweet peace, the Father's joy, the Father's love, and unite with him, heart, soul, mind, and strength, to maintain righteousness and to draw in even lines with Christ. It is not the sacrifice of Christ only; it is the Father's sacrifice also. The Father, in union and loving sympathy, with His Son, subjected Himself to suffer with His Son. He spared not His only begotten Son but freely delivered Him up for us all. This gift of Christ is the crowning truth of God's love, and this Fatherhood, through all time and through eternity. Here is the love of God in His Fatherhood. Let us drink in this love, that we may know by experience what a real, tender, joyful, experience there is in a realization of the Fatherhood of God.”

Do you see the clear, simple truth of this? The Father SENT HIS OWN SON to this world. So what does that mean? It means that Jesus IS the very literal Son of God the Father. If babes were told that God sent HIS SON to die for them, what would the babes believe? That God sent HIS SON to die for them! This is why God's truth is revealed unto babes and NOT to the 'learned men', because babes take God's Word as it is, without mixing it with philosophy and confusing ideas of man! What do the 'learned men' say today regarding Christ? "Oh the Bible doesn't REALLY mean what it says, it is just symbolic." And so they turn God's Word into some mystic, hard to understand knowledge. Would babes do that? NO! They would take it as it reads and accept it! So what about the Holy Spirit? Luke 12:11-12 ...'And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.' Matthew 10:19-20 ...'But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.' When we put these two verses together, we can clearly see that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father. So it's the Father's Spirit which comes to us, and reading Isaiah 40:13 and Romans 11:34, we can see that the Spirit is the 'mind' of God. That is even what the original meaning of the word 'Spirit' points to. It is the 'breath, mind, life' of God that comes to us. But does it come direct from the Father to us? No, look: Acts 2:32-33 ...'This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.' Peter, speaking to the crowd on the day of Pentecost, explains what has just happened, and what does he say? That Jesus had received the Holy Spirit FROM the Father, and Jesus HIMSELF gives that Spirit - that life and power of the Father - to the disciples. Do you see? John 20:19-22 ...'Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you ... And when he had said this, HE BREATHED ON THEM, and saith unto them, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY SPIRIT.' Titus 3:4-6 ...'But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.' Do you see? The Holy Spirit, which is the life, mind and power of God the Father comes to us through His beloved Son Jesus Christ. It is that 'one Spirit' which they both share, which is why Jesus said in John 14:23 that both He and the Father would dwell in us. This is the TRUTH that is revealed unto babes. It is clear, plain truth that anyone who is humble and open can understand. The only 'mystery' is what nature the Spirit of the Father is. This has not been revealed to us. But what HAS been revealed to us plainly is that God the Father is that 'one God', the 'only true God.' Which is why Paul in 1 Timothy 2:5 said that 'there is one God AND one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.' If Jesus is the mediator BETWEEN God and man, then that means the 'one God' can only be God the Father. Jesus Christ is the Son OF God the Father. He is the literal, begotten Son, begotten in eternity past, which is how the Father was able to 'SEND HIS OWN SON' to us (Romans 8:3). And the Holy Spirit is the Father's own divine Spirit, His 'mind, life and power', which He sends to us through His Son Jesus. This is how the Holy Spirit can also be called 'the Spirit of Jesus Christ' (Philippians 1:19, Galatians 4:6, 2 Corinthians 3:17). Thus there are TWO divine BEINGS on the throne of heaven. Not 1 or 3, but TWO - God the Father and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. This again is clearly revealed in the Bible many times, including John 17:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, Revelation 5:13, Revelation 21:22 and Revelation 22:1. This is plain truth that has been revealed unto babes. But the 'learned men' of the churches and the world do not want simple, plain truth. They want complicated mysteries that they can captivate the people with. This is why a 'philosophical idol has been enthroned in place of Jehovah - the true God.' An idol that the majority of churches today worship! Such is the way of Satan, clouding the plain texts of God's Word with philosophical interpretations. And only 'few' who rely upon God's plain teaching, just like babies who rely upon their parents, worship the one true God as revealed in His Word. The question is, are you following and worshipping a philosophical idol of man, or are you following and worshipping the one true God as plainly revealed in His Word? No philosophical idol can save you! Many do not realise that the trinity god destroys the gospel message, as it destroys the Sonship of Jesus Christ and makes the Father and Son out to be LIARS. Please seek the truth and like a 'babe' let the Father teach you His plain, clear truth.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28:19. Why did Jesus instruct us to baptize in "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" if the trinity is wrong? Doesn't this verse prove that there are three persons in the Godhead? Trinitarians often claim Matthew 28:19 supports their belief in a Trinity. But this verse in no way affirms the Trinity doctrine, which states that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three co-equal, co- eternal beings that make up one God. Nobody denies that there is a Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This verse refers to three entities but never says they are one and says nothing about their personality. It does not say they are three beings, It does not say they are three in one or one in three, It does not even have the word "God" in the verse, It does not say these three are the Godhead It does not say these three are a Trinity, It does not say these three are co-equal or co-eternal beings, It does not say anything about the nature of God, It does not tell us who the Holy Spirit is, It does not tell us there are three names, It does not say that these three are all God, and Jesus was not addressing the identity of God in the verse.
Yes, that's one verse, and it's not good to base doctrine on only one verse. The idea of God being three persons that are all divine is a lesson taught throughout the Bible. Very briefly: Plurality of God is taught from Genesis - 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Nobody really questions the divinity of God the Father. He is understood to be God 100%. People generally do not think that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also God. Here's some proof that they are: Jesus is God: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, ... Jesus (Word became flesh) is identified as being both God and the creator identified as 'He' in Genesis. Hebrews 1: 8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. Here God the Father is speaking to Jesus. Jesus is identified as being God, the creator, and as being eternal. The Holy Spirit is God: Acts 3: 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. The Holy Spirit is equated to God.
@@quintessentialbrick8452 You are right in the sense not much of a place to communicate although i know all those weak and subjective verses you have not used correctly. So i will answer in a few replies. Do not think i'm spamming you. And to be clear Matt 28:19 is verse trinitarians try to use to explain divinity. Therefore using a verse to build a false doctrine. If you re read my comment you will see how wrongly the verse is mis applied and the true meaning is lost. But this BELOW is also what EG White and the founders of SD Adventism BELIEVED and Taught. Not what you state you believe. Can i show you that you believe contrary to The Word and SOP before 1915? Genesis 1:26; 11:7): “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26. This text (as well as Genesis 11:7) proves that God is a plurality of three persons because ‘us’ is referring to all three. Answer: It is true the ‘us’ means that there was more than one person involved in creation, but not necessarily three. It could simply be two rather than three. The Scripture says, “God…created all things by Jesus Christ” Ephesians3:9. It should be obvious that ‘God’ in this verse is someone other than Jesus Christ. And according to Hebrews 1:2, God the Father created all things by his Son. “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?” Proverbs 30:4 This verse attributes the work of creation to two beings (A father and a son). Proverbs 8:22-30 also attributes the work of creation to two beings. God the Father is the great Source of all and He created all things by His Son Jesus Christ. Now we can know for a certainty who is speaking in Genesis 1:26. God the Father said to his Son, “let us make man in our image.” Remember, Christ is “the express image” of the Father (Hebrews 1:3), so anyone created in the Father’s image is naturally created in his Son’s image. As such, when God created man in His image He created two beings (Genesis 1:27; 5:2), not three. That is a conclusive proof that the ‘us’ in Genesis 1:26 refers to only two individuals (the Father and Son), not three. This understanding helps us with other similar verses (such as Genesis 11:7). The ‘us’ would have the same meaning as Genesis 1:26. Spirit of Prophecy: There is an interesting comment from the Christian author E. G. White on this verse: “After the earth was created, and the beasts upon it, the Father and Son carried out their purpose, which was designed before the fall of Satan, to make man in their own image. They had wrought together in the creation of the earth and every living thing upon it. And now God says to his Son, "Let us make man in our image."” {1SP 24, 25}
@@quintessentialbrick8452 (John 1:1): One of the clearest texts proving a trinity is John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” How do you explain this? Answer: This text is much misunderstood and has been misused to support a teaching that totally opposes what the text actually says. The first one is a noun (Yeon) referring to the Father, and the other is an adjective (Yeov) which refers to Jesus. You can tell the difference between the two by looking at the last letter of the two words. It is for this reason that many translations render the verse in a way that recognizes this fact. For example, translations by James Moffatt, Hugh J. Schonfield and Edgar Goodspeed render it: "...and the Word was divine." Other variations also exist. Today's English Version reads: "...and he was the same as God." The Revised English Bible reads: "...and what God was, the Word was.“ As you can see, different translations give it a meaning in harmony with the original. Thus this text is telling us is that the Word, Christ, is divine just like the Father possessing the ‘God-nature’). It does not tell us that Christ is God the Father, one and the same person. However, the question that we need to address is “what beginning is this text talking about?” Was this the beginning of earth? Was it the beginning of creation? The answer is No. The reason being that creation is not mentioned in the verse at all. That comes in v.3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” Thus, if all things were made by him (Christ the Word) then the beginning in v.1 must be before creation. Our parallel text is found in Proverbs 8: 22-30. This passage is divided in 2 parts. The first part talks about the birth of Christ in heaven before anything was created. While the second part tells us who was with God during the creation: “The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.” 22-26 Christ was possessed/set up/brought forth in the beginning of God’s ways. Colossians 1: 15 puts it this way “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” This beginning was “before his works of old”, before “the earth was”, “when there was no depths”, “when there were no fountains”, “before the mountains were settled, before the hills”, “While as yet he had not made the earth…etc” Christ is saying that He was brought forth in the beginning before these creative acts. The second part of the passage in Proverbs 8 says: “When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;” v.27-30 This section tells us that Christ, the Word, was with God during the creation. The RSV renders v.30 this way “then I was beside him, like a master workman; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always,” which brings out the point that Jesus was a workman in the creation of the world, or as John 1:3 puts it “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” Colossians 1: 16, 17 says the same thing “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” Here are the three references side by side: John 1: 1 - 3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 1 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 3 Colossians 1: 15-17 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Proverbs 8: 22-30 “The LORD possessed me … I was set up from everlasting, … I was brought forth; ….” 22-26 “When he prepared the heavens, I was there: … when he appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was beside him, like a master workman; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always;” 27-30 Thus, John 1: 1-3 not only does not support the trinity, but properly understood, teaches and supports the divine sonship of Christ. Spirit of Prophecy: In addition to that, here is what E. G. White had to say: “Christ shows them that, although they might reckon His life to be less than fifty years, yet His divine life could not be reckoned by human computation. The existence of Christ before His incarnation is not measured by figures.” {Signs of the Times, May 3, 1899} “Angels of God looked with amazement upon Christ, who took upon Himself the form of man and humbly united His divinity with humanity in order that He might minister to fallen man. It is a marvel among the heavenly angels. God has told us that He did do it, and we are to accept the Word of God just as it reads. And although we may try to reason in regard to our Creator, how long He has had existence, where evil first entered into our world, and all these things, we may reason about them until we fall down faint and exhausted with the research when there is yet an infinity beyond.” {7BC 919.5} “The Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, existed from eternity, a distinct person, yet one with the Father. He was the surpassing glory of heaven. He was the Commander of the heavenly intelligences, and the adoring homage of the angels was received by Him as His right. This was no robbery of God. "The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way," He declares, "before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth; while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth."” {RH, April 5, 1906 par. 7} “The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate--a co worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created beings. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1, 2. Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father--one in nature, in character, in purpose--the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God.” {PP 34.1} Here are two statements from E. J. Waggoner and Uriah Smith that confirm to us what we have seen: “The word was ‘in the beginning.’ The mind of man cannot grasp the ages that are spanned in this phrase. It is not given to men to know when or how the Son was begotten” E. J. Waggoner, Christ and His Righteousness, p.9 “God alone is without beginning, at the earliest epoch when a beginning could be, a period so remote that to finite minds it is essentially eternity, appeared the Word ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ John 1:1” Uriah Smith, Looking Unto Jesus 1898, p. 10

@@quintessentialbrick8452 i think your quote is from Acts 5. No you only repeat a lie you got told and never really studied it. God is not The Holy Spirit. Your verses are subjective to a trinitarian teaching that came from Rome AKA Babylon the Harlot. (Acts 5:3, 4; Ephesians 4:30): “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? ….. thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” Acts 5: 3, 4. In this passage we are plainly told that the Holy Spirit is God. How do you explain this obvious Trinitarian passage? The Bible warns us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30. Isn’t this further proof that the Holy Spirit is an individual being who can be grieved? Answer: These are good and popular questions. We will deal with them together as they are closely related. There is an important principle that will help us understand these verses. The question that we need to ask ourselves is ‘When the Holy Spirit is grieved, who exactly is grieved? Is it God and Christ or is it someone else called ‘God the Holy Spirit’?’ “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.” Genesis 6:3, 6. This is a very plain text. We must always remember that the Spirit belongs to God; it is the Spirit of God for it proceeds from Him (John 15:26). When we grieve the Spirit of God we are actually grieving God Himself. In Acts 5 we are plainly told that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord. “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.” Acts 5:3, 4, 9. In the story of Ananias and Sapphira the same truth is again demonstrated, that when we lie to the Spirit of the Lord we are really lying to and grieving the Lord Himself, for the Lord is that spirit. Notice: “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 This text clearly tells us who that Spirit is. Therefore, what Peter said to Ananias was really this: ‘by lying to God’s spirit you have not lied to men, but to God Himself!’ Peter was not informing Ananias that he had lied to a “God the Holy Spirit”. Rather, Ananias had lied to God the Lord) Himself, not someone else! When we grieve the Spirit we grieve God Himself in His heart, not someone else. The prophet Isaiah records for us an account that confirms this truth further: Isaiah 63:9-11 “In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?” Spirit of Prophecy: “How can you, oh, how can you grieve your Redeemer? How can you dishonor Him before His angels and before men? How can you grieve the Holy Spirit of God? How can you crucify the Lord of glory afresh, and put Him to open shame? How can you give occasion for Satan and his angels to exult and triumph over those who claim to be loyal subjects of Jesus Christ?” {TM 431.1} Grieving the redeemer = grieving the Holy Spirit of God. This refers to Christ Jesus for the Spirit is His life. “The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ.” {DA 805.3} “Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.” {EGW, RH, May 19, 1904 par. 1} This means that the Holy Spirit is the life and glory of Christ, not another individual being: “Jesus is seeking to impress upon them the thought that in giving His Holy Spirit He is giving to them the glory which the Father hath given Him, that He and His people may be one in God.” {EGW, 2MR 36, 37} Thus the Holy Spirit is the life, the soul, the glory and presence Jesus Christ. This is what Ellen White means when she speaks of the Spirit of God. It is the invisible personal presence of God and Christ. The Spirit of God and Christ is their own person, not another person. Notice “God is a person and Christ is a person.” {1SAT 343}. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the person of God and Christ. It is the omnipresence of them; notice “He [Christ] would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” {14MR 23} Thus, “This refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter.” {14MR 179}, and so “By the Spirit the Father and the Son will come and make their abode with you.” {BEcho, January 15, 1893 par. 8}. “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” John 14:23; Revelation 3:20 It is through the Spirit that we have a bond with the Father and Son “The sinner then stands before God as a just person; he is taken into favor with Heaven, and through the Spirit has fellowship with the Father and the Son.” {3SM 191} “John, in the assurance of a living experience, said: "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." Christ, through his Spirit, is working to draw men to himself; and we, the human agents, are to co-operate with Christ; it is his power that gives efficiency to our labors.” {RH, January 6, 1891 par. 10}

I think the word trinity confuses some people but even in the Bible it's there baptise in the name of the father, Son,Holy spirit (three in one yet inseparable ) so if someone else is using the same word"trinity" in a wrong way you should you stop using it ? There are so many gods but all are pronounced the same as God so should we stop saying God just some are using it wrongly?....... Remember it's in the Bible the problem comes when there's a misinterpretation of its actual meaning , knowing the difference between them is crucial. Be blessed 😊 May we be guided.

“They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit-the Spirit of Christ-is to bring unity into their ranks.” If she was Trinitarian, she would have removed “Spirit of Christ” and wrote “God the Holy Spirit”.
"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." - John 5:26
“The dedication of the first-born had its origin in the earliest times.

The preservation of the Bible wasn't so much a group of people in particular, but it was preserved in the manuscripts from across the years. In this way no one person or group could take control of the scriptures for their own end. We have 6,000 greek ms and that doesn't include the writings of the church fathers or of the translations made over the years. We have an embarrassment of riches as Dan Wallace would say. Even using the word ‘unique’ instead of ‘only begotten’ is a
denial of His birth in heaven. Jesus was born of Mary on this earth, but He was not God’s
Son by the Holy Spirit -- He never called the Spirit His Father. Jesus was God’s true Son
from heaven; God the Father is truly a Father, but not from the Incarnation.
When we see Jesus as a human being, we are seeing the divine Son of God clothed in
humanity. At times His divinity flashed through His humanity
“A complete offering has been made; for ‘God so loved the world, that he gave His
only-begotten Son’ - not a son by creation, as were the angels, nor a son by
adoption, as is the forgiven sinner, but a Son begotten in the express image of the
Father’s person, and in all the brightness of His majesty and glory, one equal with
God in authority, dignity, and divine perfection. In Him dwelt all the fulness of the
Godhead bodily.”
“The Fatherhood of God is given to us in the gift of Jesus Christ; and as God was
one with his only begotten Son, so he would have his earthly children one with him..”
“O that everyone would realize the great love, the self-sacrifice, the benevolence,
and the kindness of our heavenly Father, in giving his Son to die for us that we
might, if we believe and do his commandments, have a sweet peace, the Father's
joy, the Father's love, and unite with him, heart, soul, mind, and strength, to maintain
righteousness and to draw in even lines with Christ. It is not the sacrifice of Christ
only; it is the Father's sacrifice also.
The Father, in union and loving sympathy, with His Son, subjected Himself to suffer
with His Son. He spared not His only begotten Son but freely delivered Him up for us
all. This gift of Christ is the crowning truth of God's love, and this Fatherhood,
through all time and through eternity. Here is the love of God in His Fatherhood. Let
us drink in this love, that we may know by experience what a real, tender, joyful,
experience there is in a realization of the Fatherhood of God.”

Do you see the clear, simple truth of this? The Father SENT HIS OWN SON to this world.
So what does that mean? It means that Jesus IS the very literal Son of God the Father. If
babes were told that God sent HIS SON to die for them, what would the babes believe? That
God sent HIS SON to die for them! This is why God's truth is revealed unto babes and NOT
to the 'learned men', because babes take God's Word as it is, without mixing it with
philosophy and confusing ideas of man! What do the 'learned men' say today regarding
Christ? "Oh the Bible doesn't REALLY mean what it says, it is just symbolic." And so they
turn God's Word into some mystic, hard to understand knowledge. Would babes do that? NO!
They would take it as it reads and accept it! So what about the Holy Spirit?
Luke 12:11-12 ...'And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and
powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the
Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.'
Matthew 10:19-20 ...'But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall
speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that
speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.'
When we put these two verses together, we can clearly see that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of
the Father. So it's the Father's Spirit which comes to us, and reading Isaiah 40:13 and Romans
11:34, we can see that the Spirit is the 'mind' of God. That is even what the original meaning
of the word 'Spirit' points to. It is the 'breath, mind, life' of God that comes to us. But does it
come direct from the Father to us? No, look:
Acts 2:32-33 ...'This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being
by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy
Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.'
Peter, speaking to the crowd on the day of Pentecost, explains what has just happened, and
what does he say? That Jesus had received the Holy Spirit FROM the Father, and Jesus
HIMSELF gives that Spirit - that life and power of the Father - to the disciples. Do you see?
John 20:19-22 ...'Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the
doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and
stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you ... And when he had said this, HE
BREATHED ON THEM, and saith unto them, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY SPIRIT.'
Titus 3:4-6 ...'But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us
abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.'
Do you see? The Holy Spirit, which is the life, mind and power of God the Father comes to
us through His beloved Son Jesus Christ. It is that 'one Spirit' which they both share, which is
why Jesus said in John 14:23 that both He and the Father would dwell in us. This is the
TRUTH that is revealed unto babes. It is clear, plain truth that anyone who is humble and
open can understand. The only 'mystery' is what nature the Spirit of the Father is. This has
not been revealed to us. But what HAS been revealed to us plainly is that God the Father is
that 'one God', the 'only true God.' Which is why Paul in 1 Timothy 2:5 said that 'there is one
God AND one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.' If Jesus is the mediator
BETWEEN God and man, then that means the 'one God' can only be God the Father. Jesus
Christ is the Son OF God the Father. He is the literal, begotten Son, begotten in eternity past,
which is how the Father was able to 'SEND HIS OWN SON' to us (Romans 8:3). And the
Holy Spirit is the Father's own divine Spirit, His 'mind, life and power', which He sends to us
through His Son Jesus. This is how the Holy Spirit can also be called 'the Spirit of Jesus
Christ' (Philippians 1:19, Galatians 4:6, 2 Corinthians 3:17).
Thus there are TWO divine BEINGS on the throne of heaven. Not 1 or 3, but TWO - God the
Father and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. This again is clearly revealed in the Bible
many times, including John 17:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, Revelation 5:13,
Revelation 21:22 and Revelation 22:1. This is plain truth that has been revealed unto babes.
But the 'learned men' of the churches and the world do not want simple, plain truth. They
want complicated mysteries that they can captivate the people with. This is why a
'philosophical idol has been enthroned in place of Jehovah - the true God.' An idol that the
majority of churches today worship! Such is the way of Satan, clouding the plain texts of
God's Word with philosophical interpretations. And only 'few' who rely upon God's plain
teaching, just like babies who rely upon their parents, worship the one true God as revealed in
His Word.
The question is, are you following and worshipping a philosophical idol of man, or are you
following and worshipping the one true God as plainly revealed in His Word? No
philosophical idol can save you! Many do not realise that the trinity god destroys the gospel
message, as it destroys the Sonship of Jesus Christ and makes the Father and Son out to be
LIARS.
It does not say they are three beings,
It does not say they are three in one or one in three,
It does not even have the word "God" in the verse,
It does not say these three are the Godhead
It does not say these three are a Trinity,
It does not say these three are co-equal or co-eternal beings,
It does not say anything about the nature of God,
It does not tell us who the Holy Spirit is,
It does not tell us there are three names,
It does not say that these three are all God, and Jesus was not addressing the identity of God in the verse.
Yes, that's one verse, and it's not good to base doctrine on only one verse.
The idea of God being three persons that are all divine is a lesson taught throughout the Bible.
Very briefly:
Plurality of God is taught from Genesis - 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
Nobody really questions the divinity of God the Father. He is understood to be God 100%. People generally do not think that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also God. Here's some proof that they are:
Jesus is God:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, ...
Jesus (Word became flesh) is identified as being both God and the creator identified as 'He' in Genesis.
Hebrews 1:
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Here God the Father is speaking to Jesus. Jesus is identified as being God, the creator, and as being eternal.
The Holy Spirit is God:
Acts 3:
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
The Holy Spirit is equated to God.

You are right in the sense not much of a place to communicate although i know all those weak and subjective verses you have not used correctly.
So i will answer in a few replies. Do not think i'm spamming you.
And to be clear Matt 28:19 is verse trinitarians try to use to explain divinity. Therefore using a verse to build a false doctrine. If you re read my comment you will see how wrongly the verse is mis applied and the true meaning is lost.
But this BELOW is also what EG White and the founders of SD Adventism BELIEVED and Taught.
Not what you state you believe.
Can i show you that you believe contrary to The Word and SOP before 1915?
Genesis 1:26; 11:7):
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over
all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26. This
text (as well as Genesis 11:7) proves that God is a plurality of three persons because ‘us’ is
referring to all three.
Answer:
It is true the ‘us’ means that there was more than one person involved in creation, but not necessarily
three. It could simply be two rather than three. The Scripture says, “God…created all things by Jesus
Christ” Ephesians3:9. It should be obvious that ‘God’ in this verse is someone other than Jesus Christ.
And according to Hebrews 1:2, God the Father created all things by his Son.
“Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath
bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and
what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?” Proverbs 30:4
This verse attributes the work of creation to two beings (A father and a son). Proverbs 8:22-30 also
attributes the work of creation to two beings. God the Father is the great Source of all and He created
all things by His Son Jesus Christ.
Now we can know for a certainty who is speaking in Genesis 1:26. God the Father said to his Son, “let
us make man in our image.” Remember, Christ is “the express image” of the Father (Hebrews 1:3), so
anyone created in the Father’s image is naturally created in his Son’s image. As such, when God
created man in His image He created two beings (Genesis 1:27; 5:2), not three. That is a conclusive
proof that the ‘us’ in Genesis 1:26 refers to only two individuals (the Father and Son), not three.
This understanding helps us with other similar verses (such as Genesis 11:7). The ‘us’ would have the
same meaning as Genesis 1:26.
Spirit of Prophecy:
There is an interesting comment from the Christian author E. G. White on this verse:
“After the earth was created, and the beasts upon it, the Father and Son carried out their purpose, which
was designed before the fall of Satan, to make man in their own image. They had wrought together in
the creation of the earth and every living thing upon it. And now God says to his Son, "Let us make man
in our image."” {1SP 24, 25}

(John 1:1):
One of the clearest texts proving a trinity is John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God.” How do you explain this?
Answer:
This text is much misunderstood and has been misused to support a teaching that totally opposes what
the text actually says. Let us examine the text briefly in the original Greek:
en 1722

A very casual look at the original text tells us that the two words translated as “God” in that text are not
identical. The first one is a noun (Yeon) referring to the Father, and the other is an adjective (Yeov)
which refers to Jesus. You can tell the difference between the two by looking at the last letter of the two
words. It is for this reason that many translations render the verse in a way that recognizes this fact. For
example, translations by James Moffatt, Hugh J. Schonfield and Edgar Goodspeed render it:
"...and the Word was divine."
Other variations also exist. Today's English Version reads: "...and he was the same as God."
The Revised English Bible reads: "...and what God was, the Word was.“
As you can see, different translations give it a meaning in harmony with the original. Thus this text is
telling us is that the Word, Christ, is divine just like the Father possessing the ‘God-nature’). It does not
tell us that Christ is God the Father, one and the same person.
However, the question that we need to address is “what beginning is this text talking about?” Was this
the beginning of earth? Was it the beginning of creation? The answer is No. The reason being that
creation is not mentioned in the verse at all. That comes in v.3 “All things were made by him; and
without him was not any thing made that was made”
Thus, if all things were made by him (Christ the Word) then the beginning in v.1 must be before
creation. Our parallel text is found in Proverbs 8: 22-30. This passage is divided in 2 parts. The first part
talks about the birth of Christ in heaven before anything was created. While the second part tells us who
was with God during the creation:
“The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from
everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth;
when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills
was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the
dust of the world.” 22-26
Christ was possessed/set up/brought forth in the beginning of God’s ways. Colossians 1: 15 puts it this
way “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:”
This beginning was “before his works of old”, before “the earth was”, “when there was no depths”,
“when there were no fountains”, “before the mountains were settled, before the hills”, “While as yet he
had not made the earth…etc” Christ is saying that He was brought forth in the beginning before these
creative acts.
The second part of the passage in Proverbs 8 says:
“When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When
he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the
sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of
the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always
before him;” v.27-30
This section tells us that Christ, the Word, was with God during the creation. The RSV renders v.30 this
way “then I was beside him, like a master workman; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him
always,” which brings out the point that Jesus was a workman in the creation of the world, or as John
1:3 puts it “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made”
Colossians 1: 16, 17 says the same thing “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that
are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist”
Here are the three references side by side:

invisible God, the firstborn
of every creature:
For by him were all things
created, that are in heaven,
and that are in earth, visible
and invisible, whether they
be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him,
and for him:
And he is before all
things, and by him all things
consist.
Proverbs 8: 22-30
“The LORD possessed me
… I was set up from
everlasting, … I was brought
forth; ….” 22-26
“When he prepared the
heavens, I was there: …
when he appointed the
foundations of the earth:
then I was beside him, like a
master workman; and I was
daily his delight, rejoicing
before him always;” 27-30
Thus, John 1: 1-3 not only does not support the trinity, but properly understood, teaches and supports
the divine sonship of Christ.
Spirit of Prophecy:
In addition to that, here is what E. G. White had to say:
“Christ shows them that, although they might reckon His life to be less than fifty years, yet His divine
life could not be reckoned by human computation. The existence of Christ before His incarnation is not
measured by figures.” {Signs of the Times, May 3, 1899}
“Angels of God looked with amazement upon Christ, who took upon Himself the form of man and
humbly united His divinity with humanity in order that He might minister to fallen man. It is a marvel
among the heavenly angels. God has told us that He did do it, and we are to accept the Word of God just
as it reads. And although we may try to reason in regard to our Creator, how long He has had
existence, where evil first entered into our world, and all these things, we may reason about them until
we fall down faint and exhausted with the research when there is yet an infinity beyond.” {7BC 919.5}
“The Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, existed from eternity, a distinct person, yet one with
the Father. He was the surpassing glory of heaven. He was the Commander of the heavenly
intelligences, and the adoring homage of the angels was received by Him as His right. This was no
robbery of God. "The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way," He declares, "before his
works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there
were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the
mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth; while as yet he had not made the earth, nor
the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there:
when he set a compass upon the face of the depth."” {RH, April 5, 1906 par. 7}
“The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate--a co
worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created
beings. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same
was in the beginning with God." John 1:1, 2. Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with
the eternal Father--one in nature, in character, in purpose--the only being that could enter into all the
counsels and purposes of God.” {PP 34.1}
Here are two statements from E. J. Waggoner and Uriah Smith that confirm to us what we have seen:
“The word was ‘in the beginning.’ The mind of man cannot grasp the ages that are spanned in this
phrase. It is not given to men to know when or how the Son was begotten” E. J. Waggoner, Christ and
His Righteousness, p.9
“God alone is without beginning, at the earliest epoch when a beginning could be, a period so remote
that to finite minds it is essentially eternity, appeared the Word ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ John 1:1” Uriah Smith, Looking Unto Jesus 1898, p. 10

i think your quote is from Acts 5.
No you only repeat a lie you got told and never really studied it.
God is not The Holy Spirit.
Your verses are subjective to a trinitarian teaching that came from Rome AKA Babylon the Harlot.
(Acts 5:3, 4; Ephesians 4:30):
“But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to
keep back part of the price of the land? ….. thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” Acts
5: 3, 4. In this passage we are plainly told that the Holy Spirit is God. How do you explain
this obvious Trinitarian passage?
The Bible warns us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God,
whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30. Isn’t this further proof
that the Holy Spirit is an individual being who can be grieved?
Answer:
These are good and popular questions. We will deal with them together as they are closely related.
There is an important principle that will help us understand these verses. The question that we need to
ask ourselves is ‘When the Holy Spirit is grieved, who exactly is grieved? Is it God and Christ or is it
someone else called ‘God the Holy Spirit’?’
“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days
shall be an hundred and twenty years. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart.” Genesis 6:3, 6.
This is a very plain text. We must always remember that the Spirit belongs to God; it is the Spirit of God
for it proceeds from Him (John 15:26). When we grieve the Spirit of God we are actually grieving God
Himself. In Acts 5 we are plainly told that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord.
“But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back
part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not
in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but
unto God. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the
Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.”
Acts 5:3, 4, 9.
In the story of Ananias and Sapphira the same truth is again demonstrated, that when we lie to the Spirit
of the Lord we are really lying to and grieving the Lord Himself, for the Lord is that spirit. Notice:
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
This text clearly tells us who that Spirit is. Therefore, what Peter said to Ananias was really this: ‘by
lying to God’s spirit you have not lied to men, but to God Himself!’ Peter was not informing Ananias
that he had lied to a “God the Holy Spirit”. Rather, Ananias had lied to God the Lord) Himself, not
someone else! When we grieve the Spirit we grieve God Himself in His heart, not someone else.
The prophet Isaiah records for us an account that confirms this truth further:
Isaiah 63:9-11 “In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his
love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they
rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against
them. Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought
them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?”
Spirit of Prophecy:
“How can you, oh, how can you grieve your Redeemer? How can you dishonor Him before His angels
and before men? How can you grieve the Holy Spirit of God? How can you crucify the Lord of glory
afresh, and put Him to open shame? How can you give occasion for Satan and his angels to exult and
triumph over those who claim to be loyal subjects of Jesus Christ?” {TM 431.1}
Grieving the redeemer = grieving the Holy Spirit of God. This refers to Christ Jesus for the Spirit is His
life.
“The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ.” {DA 805.3}
“Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the
Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the
efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence
and a power that takes away sin.” {EGW, RH, May 19, 1904 par. 1}
This means that the Holy Spirit is the life and glory of Christ, not another individual being:
“Jesus is seeking to impress upon them the thought that in giving His Holy Spirit He is giving to them
the glory which the Father hath given Him, that He and His people may be one in God.” {EGW,
2MR 36, 37}
Thus the Holy Spirit is the life, the soul, the glory and presence Jesus Christ. This is what Ellen White
means when she speaks of the Spirit of God. It is the invisible personal presence of God and Christ. The
Spirit of God and Christ is their own person, not another person. Notice “God is a person and Christ is a
person.” {1SAT 343}. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the person of God and Christ. It is the omnipresence
of them; notice “He [Christ] would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as
the Omnipresent.” {14MR 23}
Thus, “This refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter.” {14MR 179},
and so “By the Spirit the Father and the Son will come and make their abode with you.” {BEcho,
January 15, 1893 par. 8}.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love
him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” “Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and
he with me.” John 14:23; Revelation 3:20
It is through the Spirit that we have a bond with the Father and Son “The sinner then stands before God
as a just person; he is taken into favor with Heaven, and through the Spirit has fellowship with the
Father and the Son.” {3SM 191}
“John, in the assurance of a living experience, said: "That which we have seen and heard declare we
unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and
with his Son Jesus Christ." Christ, through his Spirit, is working to draw men to himself; and we,
the human agents, are to co-operate with Christ; it is his power that gives efficiency to our labors.”
{RH, January 6, 1891 par. 10}
He is not telling the truth or had done deep research.
