A good idea for the rift would be that the launch royal would be affected by the rift and have shifting legends on the roster and not just the og legends and visa versa for the new apex. Kinda like mixtape but with the legends in both og kings canyon and new apex, that would be a good use of the rift and would make sense based on this trailer

This is not the case. Horizon apologizes to Lifeline for what happened to his arm and what happened to his DOC drone and all of that is directly related to Horizon's ambition to go back in time but has even more to do with alter's ambition to destroy worlds.
