I love using dryer sheets for polishing my faucets (they also prevent spotting), as well as for dusting baseboards and polishing stainless steel appliances. Thanks for the tips! 😊

Have an old baking soda in your fridge before tossing it in the trash dump some in your sink with a few drops of your favorite essential oil, then rinse out your sink, and now, it smells up your kitchen and cleans your sink.

Instead of throwing out the baking soda after it's done it's job in the fridge, I use it around the fire ant hills (I live in North Louisiana), poke some holes into the mount, pour more baking soda on it and the pour white vinegar on it. This "Vulcano" will kill a lot of those miserable critters.

Mix baking soda and water into a paste and clean the bugs off the grill of your car. Use a soft cloth or sponge so you won’t etch the paint. I’ve used this method all my life. We had lovebugs in FL but now I’m in TN and lighting bugs and bees are just as bad.

Hi, Lisa, it's Betty..... so many great ideas and I love your neatly organized pantry! I've never heard of the baby oil trick for untangling necklace chains....how clever! I shop in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart for the larger size plastic containers made to hold fishing lures. I use them to store my beads and jewelry making supplies in. They're usually less expensive than similar containers in the craft stores and you can use the dividers to make different sized compartments. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my sweet friend!

Seeing the rubber band ideas reminds me of my favorite! Keep your rubber bands in the refrigerator! I have rubber bands from my dad’s home. I inherited them when he died over 7 years ago! They had been in his fridge for I don’t know how long! They are still very good. The ones I store in the drawer, go bad in a short time

Hi. Just came across this video. Now, since I am old enough to be your very old grandma, a lot of the hacks I had used before not knowing there were hacks but I also learned a lot too.! Just last week, I organised my spice bottles as you did. However, since I hate sitting down to watch tv with nothing for my hands to do, I had sticky back paper, cut them to size and wrote the name of the spice/herb and then put it to the top of the plastic lid so I can find what I need in a split second. Also, when you were showing us using baby oil on your front door, I noticed a gold coloured table in your hall. Did you buy that or did you paint it? Looks really nice. Thank you for your tips and hard work.

I have another use for your dryer sheets, specifically used dryer sheets. I'm in south Georgia, so I have the same issues with lovebugs and, of course, other insects that get stuck to the front of my car. If you take one of your used dryer sheets and wet it, then rub that on the front of your car. The bugs will come right off with hardly any effort at all. Don't waste your money on bug removal Solutions as I have found most of them don't work. It's in my top five of favorite tips I've been given over the years. Try it. I guarantee you'll like it!

A few years ago i discovered that the mini soda fridge packs are the perfect size to put in the freezer (once they are empty). I put portioned nuggers and fries and such in them and cam then put my pizza and waffles on top of them.
Of course, they won"t last forever. I replace mine a few times a year.

I heat up the pan with some water on low heat. Don't walk away stay right at the stove. It does take long. While you wait for it to cool down, scrape the bits up to dispose of any bits that should not go down the drain. It's pretty quick. No need to have your pan soak overnight. Please check your pans on how to clean them. I just learned not to keep water in stainless steel. Thanks for letting me ramble!

Warning: I also had the idea to put oil in those glass bottles. It works great. However, if you keep your oil near your burners the oil in the bottle heats up and the tops pop off and become a projectile. So just be careful. And keep the bottles away from the burners

I live in Texas and we get love bugs here in some summers quite badly. I use just a cheap Dollar Tree broom to brush them away. They might fly back up if they do not get crushed but then again there are so much of them that there would be them again.
But the tape roller is very good in picking up glitter etc small craft items especially when kids are crafting.

Using a sort of waxed paper, aluminum foil or such dispenser isn't always the way to go. That's fine if u r storing 'standard' sizes but for larger/fuller rolls of something...sometimes the product is very thick &/or longer than such, so I opt for one of my kitchen drawers.
