Great Videos Matt!!! I retired in July of 2022 and myself and 3 friends left end of July for Sturgis from Maine. We traveled 9361 miles through 27 states in 30 days. We are doing it again in 2024!! Watching your videos and making notes of places to see. We saw many of the same places as your videos but many I haven’t so thank you!! Keep em coming lol.
Thanks so much again for the great video! Sad about the rain but that is the sad part of motorcycle but with all the amazing other positives we have to deal with it! Wish you guys the very best for 2024 and the most important: good health!!🎉🎊👍🇨🇦 thanks again
Oh buddy, as always, pure riding, epic content to get our juices flowing for the up coming season. With all the crazy weather around the country, settling in to enjoy your videos, flat throwing down the miles really gets a guy chomping at the bit to get out and get thru the gears!
Took a lap around the whole country in 2015…..I stopped checking my weather app after a while and just started enjoying the ride as the weather will always do its thing….😎
The epic ride continues, gotta love the rain. It poured on 385 to Deadwood and on to Sturgis this year. Thank God for raingear and waterproof boots. looking forward to episode 6.
We traveled much of that same area in late June. We stayed in Alpine for a couple of days riding the Tetons before heading to Jackson and Yellowstone, That red, metal arch bridge was under going maintenance when we were there and it was closed to most traffic. We're looking forward to riding parts of Idaho next summer.
Mile Marker MIke here: It's nice doing a video of your ride. I do the same. When did you travel thru there. We are leaving August 9th coming thru there on the way to Lolo pass. The Teton pass is open up again that is good. I grew up in Idaho Falls. Nice ride. going past palisades and Idaho Falls on our way back from riding Lolo pass. When we travel I research the weather algorithms for our ride. Checking wind and rain probabilities and that's when we go. All our rides over four years were perfect except when I was coming home from Arizona and I was fifteen miles out of Tucumcari. It rained so hard that I had to stand on the side of the highway and wait it out. Didn't find an over pass to get under. It sucked. we were thinking of Bear tooth pass but it is supposed to be in the 30's and if there is rain we would be popsicles. So we elected not to go over the pass. It's not bad to have a little rain but you guys definitely got screwed. We were in Sturgis last year and rode iron mountain road. At the top of iron mountain road we had lightning. And our weather showed heavy rain on needles highway. We were a head of the storm to our hotel. Once we pulled into the hotel at the overhang two minutes later it poured.
@@milemarkermike7234 we went through in mid-late August. Great weather except for that day. Such a beautiful ride! I can’t believe how quickly they re-opened Teton Pass.
@@marcflaro2011 Is there anything your recommend not missing? We plan to ride Icefields up to Jasper and back. Also do the golden triangle roads. I was just there with my wife in October so I’ve got a decent lay of the land but any other advice would be great.
@@FullTankAdventures icefields are amazing but soooo much traffic. Tons of beautiful scenery and riding all around there as well. I would recommend doing the slocan valley in BC. It’s amazing riding and all mountains. It’s about 3 hours from my place and so,enormity the worlds best riding and scenery
@@marcflaro2011 Is that a better ride than taking 93 south out of Radium Hot Springs? We’ll eventually head back south and go through Eureka and then Glacier. Slocan Valley looks nice.
Correct! Wouldn’t change a thing, we had an absolutely great time that day. We went from 48-50 and rain to 100 degrees the next day. Always an adventure!
Rain… part of every good road trip. Thanks for sharing the journey.
🤣🤣. Always! Thanks for watching!

Very true! We tried to outsmart it but failed 🤣🤣. But had a great day non the less.
Stylin man! 🙌
Great video thanks for sharing it. Happy New Year
Happy New Year!
Awesome ride! I cannot wait to get back out West and roam around for weeks at a time!
It doesn’t get any better than the west. We desperately need to hit the northwest.

Sounds like an awesome ride! I think we’re going to do Glacier and Banff next summer.

Awesome run, do you boys ever plan to come to Canada and go thru the Canadian Rockies. If so would love to ride with you fellas
We would love to Banff, that is on our list for the next couple years for sure.
@@FullTankAdventures I live an hour away from Banff. You and the boys have a place to stay and enjoy bbqs and bonfires and some amazing scenery

Amazing video!!!❤. What was the date?
Thanks! This ride was in the middle of August. Just wait for the next episode where we experience a 50 degree temp change in just a few short hours.
Awesome!!!
At least you had friends to suffer in the cold and rain. 😂
Still better than sitting at home doing nothing different.

Hey Inoticed you boys all have the checkered shirts. Are they Kevlar? If so what brand
No Kevlar, but they are Dixxon flannels. They aren’t water proof but they don’t hold water so in rain they dry out super quickly. Very comfortable.
What is that tour pack? You all are rocking?
It’s called a Rack Pak. Look them up on Instagram.
