As a young Lincoln Mercury technician back in the mid '70s I remember working on a Mark II. I was given the job of chasing down all of the interior water leaks and boy was that a project. The main culprits were the dual heater cores and the wiper mechanism. Apparently my boss thought I did well enough that the next job he gave me was a late '40s Lincoln Cosmopolitan with very leaky hydraulic power windows. The thing I remember about the Mark II, as if it was yesterday, was the smell of the musty old leather interior. Oh and the stutz was nothing more than a modified Grand Prix. It's kind of like taking a Honda, and turning it into a Sterling. It went from a decent car to a piece of junk.
Yeah, if you know what you're looking at, everything is Pontiac. The seats, climate control box, pretty much everything. I've always thought anyone driving one looked like an idiot.
The Continental Mark II was definitely one of my favorite American cars from the 50's you could get one for a drop in the bucket in the 70s just a beautiful car I think Ford lost money one of them it was like an Aston Martin a Rolls-Royce built in America
My Neighbor Owned a Stutz Blackhawk when they first started rolling off the assembly line waaaay back in another life. The car he bought was originally ordered by King Faisal from Persia but Faisal died before delivery. It was Gold in color and had actual MINK FUR carpeting along with Gold Plated trim inside. Yes it was the perfect Ganster Car and my neighbor was certainly all that. It was based on a Cadillac Chassis. It was one of the Ugliest cars that one had to be seen in.
The Stutz Blackhawk was the last production car designed by Virgil M. Exner Sr. who also designed the 1956-1960 Dual Ghia (the 1961-64 Dual Ghia was designed by Luigi Segre of Ghia Carrozeria Italy.)
I have heard of every car included...I even remember the Lincolm Mark II in showrooms. (a side effect of having reached puberty in the early 60'S) But I must ask, how on earth do you consider the Bearcat's headlamps 'hidden", they are possibly the most in-your-face headlamps ever to be part of automotive design.
It would be nice while narrating a story of one car, not showing a different car. If the other car is a design change, note what year(s) both cars are to reduce confusion? At 6:37; Ah, plenty of leg room. ;-D I've pulled my "like" due to the poor editing in AI(?) narration, overlapping narration of one car with views of another, completely different car (9:34), retromod 55 - 57 T-Bird?), that you don't talk about?
Unfortunately when the horsepower of the Pontiac motor went down in the mid 70s the stutz horsepower went down also too about 180 hp built on a Pontiac chassis it really wasn't much more than the dressed up Pontiac Grand Prix
Why does the voice keep repeating "Dual Ghia" 2while many of the shots are actually showing the DART????? And why all the silly struggling with numerous wonky ways of pronouncing "Caribbean" (how many ways can the anno0uncer say it?).... Who wrote all of this very worrrrrrrrrrrrrdy stuff???And why talk about the 1955 ansd 1956 models when these cars are never shown???
As I continue watching, the cars are Fabulous!, but damn did the commentator just sub out each cars name in the same dull script. We get... Expensive cars built for the rich by the rich... Blah blah blah
Oooh I truly love the Continental mark II. Omg the dark red is absolutely beautiful!!!
This car is a rare Grace of Elegance ❣️

Oh, that's nothing I owned and drove a 1964 Dodge Dart and it had a push button transmission. But that's a cool idea and car.
The Stutz was a rebodied Gran Prix.
No it wasnt. It was based on a Cadillac Chassis with the Eldo front wheel drive.
Love them all. The Mark 2 and Dua Ghia are my favorites.
You didn't give enough attention to detail of the Stutz, you didn't mention the clock in the center of the steering wheel
They should include Tucker and is one of the rarest cars ever made with the innovator design
Not only did I read the original road test of the Blackhawk in Motor Trend in (I think) 1968, I saw one in person at the Edmonton Plaza in the 1980's.
The Continental Mark II was definitely one of my favorite American cars from the 50's you could get one for a drop in the bucket in the 70s just a beautiful car I think Ford lost money one of them it was like an Aston Martin a Rolls-Royce built in America
All car people know these cars
First clue you knew this was going to be subpar was the moment that annoying voice bot chimed it......watched about 5 seconds of it.
Billy Blaze, (Michael Keaton), drove one in "Night Shift".
Not only have I heard of these I recognized them.
Dat first car was in da 70s pimp movie name super fly

Sammy Davis Jr. had a Stuz!
Dean martin also owned 1.
It's nothing but a grand prix You paying all that money
The owners of the Stutz counted with the celebrities, included the local drug dealers/pimps
Barry white was a famous stutz driver
The commentary is over using exclusivity, bespoke and grandeur
and the annoying over used voice bot.
AI nonsense
I got to drive a Stutz Blackhawk. Was a short drive, though, just around a parking lot.
Barry White had one of these as well - his widow Glodean White recently restored it on Counting Cars tv show.
1.39 Stutz Blackhawk has hidden headlamps? Lol...
I remember this call
On an Episode of kounts custom His shop restored one for the widow Of barry white .

The first car was a pimps car 😂😂😂
4:56 ma frend - you said the same thing so many, many, many, many times that it became unbearable. Sry. Maybe it was interesting, but... I'm out
i guess they forgot the "excaliper"
Excalibur,,that was a kit car
Reminds me of quantum mechanics Parallel universe cars.
If you wanted a rare car and a sought after car why didn't you show the Tucker I mean an original Tucker in mint condition can go for almost a million
09:03 Where is the rear legroom?
It would be nice while narrating a story of one car, not showing a different car.

Ummm...why are they showing all these pictures of a Thunderbird?
Unfortunately when the horsepower of the Pontiac motor went down in the mid 70s the stutz horsepower went down also too about 180 hp built on a Pontiac chassis it really wasn't much more than the dressed up Pontiac Grand Prix
The Mk II was no where near a secret car. And when talking about the Kaiser Traveler, you also showed the Kaiser Manhattan.
I did see the Stutz Blackhawks as Pimp cars,,I don't mind the style,,butttt that side muffler gotta go
Eugene Casserolle? Seriously? You have to know he was called "Tuna" behind his back if not in front of his face.
These cars are so unique and pretty!!I wish they'd still put some Chrome trims on cars and Chrome wheels. Not the ugly black wheels. They just ugly!!

A really "bespo" commentary - whatever that means.
Good thing your using an ai talking head... Because there's no way a human narrator could have not laughed his ass off at this
Click bait..
Wrong. I’ve heard of all of them.
Robo vid much
Who is this narrator with the annoying voice tone who rambles on and on and seems to pop up in every video?
As I continue watching, the cars are Fabulous!, but damn did the commentator just sub out each cars name in the same dull script. We get... Expensive cars built for the rich by the rich... Blah blah blah
P.
I hate this AI's voice
