Now let's see what passage is saying in verse 21 Jesus is explaining that not everyone who calls him Lord will enter into heaven but those who do the will of the Father. Pretty self explanatory, but what is the will of the Father? Verse 22 shows us that these people who won't enter into the kingdom are people who have good works. Okay its clear good works aren't the will of the Father if they were Jesus wouldn't tell them to depart from him. So what is? Day 4 of spreading the gospel John 16 : 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
"You weren't *struggling with sin* you embraced it." I like how that is said. The Holy Spirit gives people the desire for goodness, and sin leads to many destructive consequences. So, as Christians, you *struggle* with sin because you understand how dangerous and harmful sin is, and you hate how your sinful nature conflicts with your desire for goodnees, or rather, your desire for God. Meanwhile, to embrace sin is to embrace the things that lead away from all that is good.

It is very true. I must to do it repent once again to forgive me wherever I suddenly got trapped/distracted into the same sin. I had to go away from the lust/p@rn stuff. >_
We do not deserve Him, But He gave Himself for us, and even when we fall and cry out to him, He will lift us up. Thank you Lord for your promises. I love you with all my heart please do as you have said in Ezekiel 11:19-20 - Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. 2 Chronicles 34:27 - because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and against its inhabitants, and you humbled yourself before Me, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” says the Lord. Luke 18:9-14 - Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men-extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
We are saved by grace through faith by accepting Jesus as our savior not by how good we try to be we will always fall short of the glory of god which is why Jesus died for us on that cross. Anybody who tells you if you don’t repent of your sin after accepting Jesus as your savior you go to hell is lying. As soon as you except Jesus as savior you are saved sealed and sanctified till the day of redemption. The only way you going to hell is if you denied Jesus as your savior up until you die or you commit the unforgivable sin if you haven’t already excepted him as savior yet.
I got a friend just like this. What sucks is id like to send him this video, but he'd probably just make jokes about me quitting p*rn if he even watched it
Hey fam! To be saved all you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ. Believe that Jesus is God that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). When you accept Jesus into your heart you are instantly saved and a child of God! He changes you from the inside and gives you a heart that doesn’t want to sin. It’s through accepting Jesus that he cleanses you of sin
Mm. George Carlin said it best right after he ridiculed the existence of god. He said "YOU'RE not Gods friend!" "A friend doesn't just ask for things all the time! A friend doesn't just ask for forgiveness all the time!" "You're not a friend to God." This made me realize that unless i can truly turn away from sin, i shall NOT count myself among thy saints!
I think I know why the friend got rejected. He said at 0:47 "You're just being self righteous bro," when in reality, HE is the one being self righteous, he even asked this at 0:42 "Oh so you're better then most Christians?" If you ask that question, you have no idea what being a Christian actually is. And Im not even a Christian, Im just someone who understands Christianity a lot more clearly. Maybe not completely, but most certainly a lot more then most modern day "Christians." But yea, thats why God says to the friend, 1:13 "Depart from me" because he knows. He knows. He hears everything and sees everything. Why else is he referred to as "All seeing?" Because he's God, he can literally do anything. Its literally the equivalent of having Creative Mode in Minecraft. Thats why you should never underestimate him. And I also noticed this. The people who get rejected, are immediately shocked, but for the people who get to go in, they arent shocked. Notice how the dude looked like he was expecting the worse here, at 0:55. And notice the friend at 1:08. You can see a clear difference. You just need to pay attention. Notice how the friend looked prideful about it. Thats literally why he got rejected. Pride. Whether you are atheist or a Christian, it doesnt matter. You should never underestimate a God. Never do that.
woah, so basically i left church like an hour ago, i got food and im not home yet and im waiting for my mom in the car, and i was just watching this video because well, i watch a lot of christian videos and i bored. but when i saw this was based on luke 18:9-14, thee parable of the pharisee and the tax collector, i actually was like “woah what??”. BECAUSE, at church the priest was talking about this, but in my native language (it’s an armenian apostolic church), but i couldn’t really understand all of it since he was talking days and i’m still working on my armenian, so my mom in the car told be what he said in simpler terms, which was about this parable! and i have a feeling God really wanted me to know this parable so he sent another video to maybe make sure u was paying attention 😹. all glory to God!!
Romans 6: 1-4 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, though just as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of like." God loves you all, repent❤
0:43 Bro no true friend would be that way, that's an enemy or a faker, a Real Friend, a Real Brother would understand and be supportive because that's what Real Love is all about, Jesus didn't carry the cross by Himself, the ppl who loved Him helped I absolutely hate that scene in the passion of the christ but at least it was honest

Then you do not understand his grace. God's grace is a like getting community service instead of the death penalty. You still have to do some work to show you know you screwed up but its better than alternative.
@@HislawisTruth They should repent since how we use God's grace determines if we enter heaven or not. From my understanding. After receiving God's grace our entry into heaven is based on a Karma system where how many people you helped or supported determines whether or not you get into heaven. The more people you help the better your odds.
I don’t know what’s worse… self righteous Christian’s or lukewarm Christian’s… I have found religious people are very judgmental and cruel and spiritual Christian’s are very loving and follow Christ. So what’s worse? Religious self righteous people or lukewarm fake people :(
I will say in my opinion self righteous since they are putting their sin of pride on full display. Which can turn people away from Jesus since self righteous Christians can make people feel alienated and oppressed. It these type of people that have made me feel very negatively wanting to follow Jesus until recently.
I would say self righteous is worse. They are the judgmental, negative stereotype of Christians that people picture when they think of Christians and their behavior can actively drive people away from the faith. On the other hand. the lukewarm person you could probably say no one would even know they are Christian at all. In that sense at least they are not actively causing harm to the faith or driving people away.
You are very wrong This is not what the bible said, once you believe, you become his son and seal with a holy spirit til redemption God doesnt remember your sin no more But keep twisting the gospel, this video is wrong Tell me the truth, HAVE YOU STOP SINNING 100%? YOU CAN'T You break one laws, you break all laws!! Think a little
Romans 6:15-17 NKJV 15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were [e]delivered.
@DisDracted it doesn't mean we can stop sin, you can't Your sin still inside of you until Jesus return to to completely remove sin Tell me, have you stop sin? Do not lies, no one can stop sinning If anyone said they don't sin is a liar, the truth is not in them There is no willful sin or accident sin We still sin no matter what Do not lies that you have stop sinning because if you stop lust, GOOD FOR YOU, but if you lie, your stopping lust became valid as well One law you break, you broke all of it It is impossible to stop sinning
@cats4603 It is true that none of us can stop sinning, but that doesn't mean we still can't turn away from it. Jesus offers his gift of salvation out of love, for free, yes, but do we love him back for it? Let's say you caught your friend stealing money from you, then they apologize, you forgive them but some time later they steal from you again. How willing would you be to forgive them? Hebrews 10:26-27 (NIV): 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. We can't stop sinning, true, but that doesn't make repentance any less important. We should continue to live for Jesus, not for the world. Walk in Spirit, not in the Flesh. I'll confess, I struggle with 🌽 too, I often give in to anger, I'm lazy, unmotivated, I'm far from being good at all, let alone perfect. But Jesus and His love and grace are my hope forever and ever and I will not stop following Him.
@@cats4603 It is true that we can't stop sinning, but that doesn't mean we should keep living in sin, as I previously showed in Romans 6. While God does give the gift of salvation out of love it doesn't mean we should abuse it and suddenly pretend like we're living for Him. Hebrews 10:26-27 (NIV): 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. And just a logical question instead - if he's twisting scripture as you say he is, why would he teach that repentance is necessary, in this video? The Devil twists scripture to lead people away from God, not bring them closer to Him. Repentance isn't just saying sorry, it's walking in His Spirit and turning away from sin. And even when we fall short - run to God. Even a righteous man falls 7 times. But don't be selfish and abuse his love. Walk with Him, not away from Him. Walk in Spirit, not in Flesh. Run to Him, not to the World. Love Him just as much as He loves us.
@@cats4603 I wrote 2 replies but TH-cam kept deleting them for some reason so ig ill just cut it short But logically speaking, if the guy is twisting scripture as you claim he does, why would he talk about forgiveness and repentance being important? The Devil twists the truth to lead you away from God. Last time I checked, humbling yourself before our Lord and asking Him for forgiveness and/or guidance isn't one of those things.
Dang that's cold but I'm just like you, for countless times I asked God for help yet the help never came, God neglected me now it is time that I neglect God Funny enough this mindset improved my life quality, I think I just expected miracles to happen instead of putting the effort
Turning away from sin does not save a man. This is a false gospel. Believe on the Lord Jesus for the gift of eternal life. Believe He is God, the Son of God, that he died on the cross for your sins. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead after three days for your forgiveness of all your sins and your justification before God.
We have a natural understanding of sin. Yes we have been saved through his death on the cross, ultimately securing our salvation. But constantly living in sin, and taking God's grace for granted destroys our chances of earning his salvation. We lose our conviction, and spirit no longer dwells within us in the process. Repentance is the only choice we have to determine our eternal fate.
It could be argued if you so casually embrace and indulge in wrongdoing without ever feeling bothered by it then you never really came to saving faith in the first place.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
@@lone9585 yeah exactly. doing those works. trying to do things to be saved, repenting of sins being one of those things. saying what you need to repent of sins is saying the sacrifice of Jesus wasn't enough, and it absolutely was
Saved by grace? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Only by faith in the Son may ye enter heaven and not by acts so that none may boast, now go get baptized and change your life for the better or it's the pit lol
Good job feeding into the losts emotions. Depart from me verse is talking about people who relied on themselves/work, including repenting of sins, and not on Christ finished work. Jesus didn't say repent of sins and believe. He said to repent and believe on him. Repent by itself in the hebrew/greek (metanoia) is to "change your mind". Not change your mind about sins. It is faith alone. Repenting of sins to be saved or staying saved is unbiblical. Nothing wrong with repenting of sins and wanting to change but that's not going to save you. To even assume that it is, is you committing spiritual adultery against Christ with Moses and his animal sacrifices. YAH's grace is a free gift that's already been given and cannot be abused. Not a privilege that you work or strive for. The flesh will sin for the rest of its life because its of the devil but we stop saying sorry and praise The Son, The savior, The Christ, that the spirit is not held accountable because it is born again of god. Stop focusing on yours brothers sins and focus on your own. You are ironically the pharisee and this corn-addicted friend is the tax collector in that parable you put up. Stop projecting onto your audience and Biblically repent, please.

Turn to Jesus before it's too late✝️♥️
Halelu-Yah!! Thank you for posting this one, sir.
Amen! Excellent work!
Very Profound lesson from God/Jesus Christ and from you Joshua, please keep that and give us more Christian content! We always need to know how to please Our Father in Heaven, Amen.
This was 👏 amazing and a good reminder for all of us thank you! Amen ✝️
Thank you for your video, humbles me for the better.
This reminds me of the parable of a self Righteous religious person vs a humbled person. God will have more mercy towards that humbled person who repents over the prideful religious one who exalts himself above others.
I struggle with 🌽. I want to be able to live without it but i keep getting pulled back.
I'll pray for you dude, I also went through that one.
@troll4768 How did you make it out? Was it hard? I'm having the same problem, sometimes i just don't want to do it but I end up doing it anyways.
I'm tired of it, it makes me feel gross and mad.
''Resist the devil and he will flee from you''

Day 4 of spreading the gospel
John 16 : 33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
"You weren't *struggling with sin* you embraced it."
I like how that is said.
Amazing example of judgement day we're gonna repent guys not repeat and embrace it. ❤✝️
Your video has helped me to understand that I truly love Jesus and God because Jesus was God in the flesh, because if I didn't then I wouldn't start crying so hard when I think about the pain He went through on the cross
Of all the ppl on this tiny planet to ruin and torture and crucify they chose Jesus Christ??
Jesus, the man who gave so much to so many ppl without expecting anything in return, My Brother, whome was so kind and loving and good, how could they do that to my Jesus... if I didn't love Him then it wouldn't kill me so much to see and think of Him like that, fictional recreation or not
So much emotion from such a short video, a Thousand thank yous
Amen
I repented to god this morning I was struggling with my lust addiction and iam no longer doing it wish me luck guys and the mighty name of Jesus amen❤❤❤
Amen! Jesus Is Lord! Amen! LORD please forgive me! Amen!
I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
i dont wanna live with this sin anymore, i think i am a sinner and i hate it i keep trying to get away from it but i can't please pray for me..
Amen❣
I LOVE IT
Amen 🙏
Hebrews 10:26-27
Facts.
You are saved by grace. The Bible never says to “repent of your sins” because it means to “make up your mind”.
I got a friend just like this. What sucks is id like to send him this video, but he'd probably just make jokes about me quitting p*rn if he even watched it
I don’t know if you realized this but turning from sin is a work and is not repentance
How do i be saved?
@@gguidedproductions Thank you a lot!
I’m the asphalt and omega the first and the last the beginning and the end ❤
❤
BECAUSE, at church the priest was talking about this, but in my native language (it’s an armenian apostolic church), but i couldn’t really understand all of it since he was talking days and i’m still working on my armenian,
so my mom in the car told be what he said in simpler terms, which was about this parable! and i have a feeling God really wanted me to know this parable so he sent another video to maybe make sure u was paying attention 😹. all glory to God!!
Romans 6: 1-4
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, though just as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of like."

I absolutely hate that scene in the passion of the christ but at least it was honest

What if I repent from abusing His grace?
Then you do not understand his grace.
God's grace is a like getting community service instead of the death penalty. You still have to do some work to show you know you screwed up but its better than alternative.
It would be good to do now instead of waiting until it's too late.
@@zomfragger Should someone not repent of abusing His grace?
@@HislawisTruth They should repent since how we use God's grace determines if we enter heaven or not.
From my understanding. After receiving God's grace our entry into heaven is based on a Karma system where how many people you helped or supported determines whether or not you get into heaven. The more people you help the better your odds.
@@zomfragger What do you think about 1 Corinthians 13?
I don’t know what’s worse… self righteous Christian’s or lukewarm Christian’s… I have found religious people are very judgmental and cruel and spiritual Christian’s are very loving and follow Christ. So what’s worse? Religious self righteous people or lukewarm fake people :(
I will say in my opinion self righteous since they are putting their sin of pride on full display. Which can turn people away from Jesus since self righteous Christians can make people feel alienated and oppressed.
It these type of people that have made me feel very negatively wanting to follow Jesus until recently.
I seen and lived the self righteous Christian. I would rather deal with a non christian tbh.
You are very wrong
This is not what the bible said, once you believe, you become his son and seal with a holy spirit til redemption
God doesnt remember your sin no more
But keep twisting the gospel, this video is wrong
Tell me the truth, HAVE YOU STOP SINNING 100%?
YOU CAN'T
You break one laws, you break all laws!!
Think a little
Romans 6:15-17 NKJV
15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were [e]delivered.
@DisDracted it doesn't mean we can stop sin, you can't
Your sin still inside of you until Jesus return to to completely remove sin
Tell me, have you stop sin?
Do not lies, no one can stop sinning
If anyone said they don't sin is a liar, the truth is not in them
There is no willful sin or accident sin
We still sin no matter what
Do not lies that you have stop sinning because if you stop lust, GOOD FOR YOU, but if you lie, your stopping lust became valid as well
One law you break, you broke all of it
It is impossible to stop sinning
@@cats4603 I wrote 2 replies but TH-cam kept deleting them for some reason so ig ill just cut it short
But logically speaking, if the guy is twisting scripture as you claim he does, why would he talk about forgiveness and repentance being important? The Devil twists the truth to lead you away from God. Last time I checked, humbling yourself before our Lord and asking Him for forgiveness and/or guidance isn't one of those things.
If I was on judgement day, standing in front of Jesus. I think I know what I am going to say.
“You failed.”
Dang that's cold but I'm just like you, for countless times I asked God for help yet the help never came, God neglected me now it is time that I neglect God
Funny enough this mindset improved my life quality, I think I just expected miracles to happen instead of putting the effort
I just want my questions answered.
This is not real bro
Turning away from sin does not save a man. This is a false gospel.
Believe on the Lord Jesus for the gift of eternal life. Believe He is God, the Son of God, that he died on the cross for your sins. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead after three days for your forgiveness of all your sins and your justification before God.
it sucks, i know a lot of people like that first guy
We have a natural understanding of sin. Yes we have been saved through his death on the cross, ultimately securing our salvation. But constantly living in sin, and taking God's grace for granted destroys our chances of earning his salvation. We lose our conviction, and spirit no longer dwells within us in the process. Repentance is the only choice we have to determine our eternal fate.
It could be argued if you so casually embrace and indulge in wrongdoing without ever feeling bothered by it then you never really came to saving faith in the first place.
@pcdeltalink036 Amazing explanation
I hope you know that turning away from a sin is a false, works-based gospel
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
@@lone9585 yeah exactly. doing those works. trying to do things to be saved, repenting of sins being one of those things. saying what you need to repent of sins is saying the sacrifice of Jesus wasn't enough, and it absolutely was
Saved by grace? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Only by faith in the Son may ye enter heaven and not by acts so that none may boast, now go get baptized and change your life for the better or it's the pit lol
This video is false teaching right here and out of context. Such an anti freegracer. What is the will of the father?
Amen 🙏
