    2:50 "it's a testament to the chiefs that they were able to do it last time". Huh? No one expected the eagles to make it to the sb back in 2022. The chiefs were the better roster and were betting favorite too. Let's not make it sound like the chiefs achieved some monumental upset that year. If anything it was the eagles who were one play away from pulling the upset.

    • @brendandaniels889
      @brendandaniels889 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      ??? The eagles were 13-1 that year at finished 14-3 same as the chiefs earning a first round bye, being in even better position than this year. Not only that, they were 1.5-2 point favorites in that superbowl, now they’re underdogs by the same margin.

      @@brendandaniels889 not disputing your point but general sentiment that I remember was people saying they had an easy schedule and were discredited. Many chose the niners to beat them in the nfc championship and suggested eagles got lucky bc purdy got hurt. Many suggested the record was lucky and would be exposed by chiefs. But hurts balled out in the sb and everyone was shocked they went into the half up by 10. So im simply disagreeing with the guy in the clip saying the chiefs had pulled off something monumental. Now this super bowl sure you can make the case the eagles are better on paper but not two years ago

Since the 2021 postseason, the Chiefs have more penalties than their opponent zero times in 11 playoff games (0%). During the regular season in that span, they have more penalties than their opponents in 25 of 68 games (37%). That is a very abnormal disparity in the playoffs, even with the relatively small sample. That number as well as the recent number that was posted in the USA today shows to an absolute, undisputed, irrefutable 100% mathematical and statistical certainty how lopsided it is

    In 22, the Eagles defense relied heavily on their front 4 to generate pressure. All their defensive success was generated from that 70 sack defense. The field conditions in Arizona completely ruined their chances. This year, the Eagles, defense is more talented, more well rounded, and better coached. The game will be won or lost by the Eagles defense. Hurts has historically played well against the chiefs and I don’t see that changing with Saquon at his side.

      that's a nice narrative you've created for yourself, but the reality is that a Mahomes is 8-0 against a Fangio defenses and Mahomes actually has better stats against top tier defenses than average defenses. The Eagles don't generate much pressure(near the bottom of the league in QB hurries), they rely of 4 man rushes and coverage sacks. They keep everything in front of them and they try and make defenses make mistakes by driving down the field 5 yards at a time. That works great when your playing the Giants, Bucs... or even teams like the Bengals. But the problem for the Eagles is that is *exactly* what the Chiefs excel at doing. Reed schemes guys open and the Chiefs dink and dunk and nickel and dime ya to death with YAC. Earlier in the season you might have been able to give the Chiefs problems in man coverage, but with Worthy peaking and Hollywood Brown back healthy they can beat you in man and zone... you're really just picking your poison between their speedsters in man or Kelce in zone.
      On the other side the Chiefs almost never give up explosive run plays (they only have like 5 over 40+ in the entire time Spags has been in KC), they have excellent tackling LBs and DBs... and Hurts is notoriously weak against the blitz, which the Chiefs are the best in the league at. If you betting on Hurts playing another game of his life in the SB again... that's a pretty desperate bet.
      Fundamentally you are not meaningfully different than the other 3 teams the Chiefs have beaten to win the SB. They were all excellent defenses with great running games and mid tier QBs.. The only teams that have ever beaten the Chiefs have had elite QBs, and Hurts is definitely not that.

      @ No it’s not. I see out of bounds hits all the time not called. These plays happen very fast, and if you watch it, you can see why the tackler made the play. It’s his job to bring the runner down, without grabbing the facemask or committing a penalty. I get it. The problem is consistency. In the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl the holding call at the end of the game, the game was largely penalty free, if they let them play that’s fine let them play, just be consistent!
      The subjective part of the refs job is what makes it so problematic.

Philadelphia did not have Barkley and their defense was second to last at 31st at the time. Olsen was wrong. Most replays start too late. You have to see the endzone shot where Bradberry grabs JuJu's jersey and kills his momentum. Jersey tugs always get called if seen. JuJu had just beaten Bradberry twice, and Bradberry admitted he grabbed him. Even during the game, Fox never showed the actual hold. You can see it in the all-22.

      He magically looked fine after halftime. Was Mr. Miyagi in the Chiefs locker room, or something???

    Yes. With the help of the refs with calls no other team would get, they pull out the win. Stange how that happens. lol

    After Petty Lavon the Grim Reaper rips your heart out and shows you while it’s beating I’ll be back to collect your tears and place them next to the other bottles. Chiefs 35-21. Chiefs Kingdom Rules GO CHIEFS!!!

      Oh wow, you expect the chiefs to score more points than they have all season long? Vs the #1 defense? Ok......

    Miles Sanders had 1200 yards last time and 15 touchdown so it can be done stop acting like saquon Barkley's at 150 yards every game

    the Chiefs lose rice add Kareem hunt add Hopkins and Xavier Worthy, the Eagles add saquon Barkley and Mekhi becton and Lose Travis Kelce. Plus both defenses are much better than what they were then but especially Kansas City's

    Let the boy's play this time is all i ask. I like both teams but I'm tired of looking down in the corner of my TV screen every play to see if the Fox,CBS,NBC yellow 🟨Flag sign is up.. If you are a fan you shouldn't have to check every play.
