What is the truck that we see at the beginning of the video ?
Nice selection there. Also strong agree about that free Voron AE in Scandinavia. Especially if people are jumping there early, normal or hard mode. It's almost fully upgraded, all it really needs is tires swapped out, and it's good to go. Delightful little wobble rocket, that's a lot more stable than it might appear. Have done many silly things with it, making me one giggly girl at what I was able to get away with in it. Glad to see it getting some love here.
I really enjoyed using the twinsteer here, just shuttling cargo everywhere fast
The twinsteer is criminally underated. If you know the terrain will not tip it over, it is a beast.
I'm a returning player and it's nice seeing some different trucks on a top 10 snowrunner list!

I made most of the tasks with Tatra Force. Brute force and fuel eficiency beats her small speed. Plus that Voron for support (i'm running with mod for small roof rack from TUZ-16, very helpful) 😊

Got burned-out in yukon a month ago. Haven't played since. Repetition doesn't do favors. Still love the content though. Still excited to see super heavies

I used the CLT for the big deliveries, most of the logs and the movie trailer. The 114 freightliner and Voron AE did everything else.
In scandinavia I used a lot the voron grad.Its a sligthly weaker version of the tayga king but it works very well
I really enjoyed this map. Only thing missing is some how sliding down the ski slopes.
I enjoy using the tiny zikz 5368 with fuel tank addon.
I am in Yukon and am looking forward to getting some of these trucks.

Kinda sad you didn't mention Kenworth 963.
Big K is almost as much overkill as a ZikZ in Scandinavia with even more versatility.
This map is really fun, almost any truck can work there. I used a lot chevrolet kodiak c70 with highrange gearbox+low saddle with crane, it was really fun to drive(never try this truck before)
I hauled almost all my short logs with it
The voron AE can use cargo bed + crane but can’t also use trailer with it
I used a lot of the heavy duty trucks, some of the highway, I also went with off-road tires generally, the only time I really pulled the big guns out was for the plane delivery

Good video, personally I would remove both the Zikze and the Derry Special but add the Boar 45318, Freightliner 114sd and Derry longhorn 3194.
I like the idea, you can get away with more truck variety in Scandinavia and those are some enjoyable alternatives.
My all time fav truck is the Azov 64131 it might be slow but my gosh I've completed a lot of stuff with that truck

The twinsteer with the new JAT pack did will with me, specially the ascending of the ski mountain, I delivered the 4 sky cabins easily. Also the Azov 73 did well too.
I prefer OHD tires over the new JATs personally
@@brody8857depending on tires, some jat, specially mud, can be around 0,5 points over the ones original from the Game, i've tested It With the DAN, and i've passed zones With the JAT MHS IV, where the stock mudtires get stopped

@@brody8857some game's original mud tires are better, but some of JAT are better on the other hand with some different trucks, the most significant upgrade I have experienced with using the JAT specially with the twinsteer that they increased it's stability & this is an important point
@@marwanelattar8299 yeah for sure some of the JAT muds are better but im talking specifically for the twinsteer i like the OHD doubles on it. i think they give great stability. it is cool tho that with the new JATs you can use the 63" tires which is really good.
6:18 tracking your progress, the best way possible (train track pun). Azov 73210 is still my favorite truck.
I still prefer to use the Tayga B over the OG, only because of the crane. I can compensate for the slightly poorer handling as long as I can roll with that crane, though I regularly use both, usually together on the same task.
A also used the Twinsteer on this map more than some of the previous. Hauling cargo up that ski hill was a chore and the Twinsteer was able to handle it and didn't need to haul a trailer back down.
I did get the free Voron and it was the first time I used a Voron, I was impressed with it and it was the truck I chose to haul the movie trailer around. It did pretty good.
But that Loadstar, I love driving the truck. Bounce all over the road as you have the high range gearbox on, only deep mud and snow will slow you down, perhaps the occasional bump that will send you rolling over. You will use those trunk supplies from all the damage you take at that speed.
I also use the Azov 5319 a heck of a lot for many maps and missions, this one included. Usually for those short log hauling tasks because it can get there and back quickly, reliably and stable. The small tank isn't that much of an issue for a short trip.
Prefer the B too. If I want to use the King, I'll use it but winch the B with it's crane, bed and trailer. Good 6 to 8 bed combo.

With so much asphalt everywhere, using always-on awd/difflock trucks is almost a crime.
You are the boss! I use a little better trucks, but I agree. For me, best maps were Kola, Amur and Don, because the new maps are too easy.

I still find myself leaning on the White Western Star 4964. Its my swiss army knife.
I always prefer the KOLOB's for heavy trailers over the 605R. I dunno if they patched it since I last used it (in a trailer role) in Season 4. But I remember the 605R getting caught up and stuck a lot with big trailers. I dunno if the KOLOB's necessarily get caught up less, but they certainly get stuck less. It's like the KOLOB's in of themselves are so heavy that even when a trailer bottoms out, they just ignore and keep dragging it along anyway. And if you do actually get stuck, you can often rock and forth and apply a little winch assist and just brute force the trailer out of or over whatever it's attempting to get stuck on.
I'll say this, I've taken 8-Slot trailers places with the KOLOB's I would not want to haul them in with a 605R. Like in Season 6 where that broken power line is on the second map, I muscled an 8-Slot over and around that with the KOLOB. lol
KOLOB's like the Burlak for being so gurfy though are pretty damn slow.
It's weird because even with the lifted suspension the KOLOB's doesn't have the highest saddle. Kensworth and Boar I'm pretty sure sits higher, doesn't the 605R saddle also sit higher? But I dunno, I just find nothing does the trailer jobs like the KOLOB's. Like I said I think it's mainly because the KOLOB's themselves are so heavy, with actually having enough power to move not just it's own weight but cargo as well. I like to describe the KOLOB's as being able to bully the trailers around, to an extent anyway.
I have the 605 rigged up for short logs alongside the Derry Special. I should try a saddle on it someday to see if the 605 still gives me that feeling of trailers getting caught up all the time.
The Kenworth is decent at big trailers, sometimes struggle getting up the hill cause its engines are bit weak

Train tracks seem exempt from packing! Which was a relief because I brought the wrong equipment lol.

Anyone ever take their photo mode camera into the engine bay of the Pacific P512? The exhaust connects to the 2 intake ducts......that not how engines work Saber Interactive 😅
I can say i developed what is called "deep hate" for the burlak, the extreme slow speed, and almos full lost of traction under any situation without the difflock on it makes me thing, saber should made the "permablock" a option for this vehicle, then maybe can follow the tatarin from the distance, in the other hand, why you say the DAN is slow? With the tayga, is one of the fastest "bricks" in town 🤔, agree with the stability and usefulness....
Also agree with the losdstar, i've been testing the new tires in some cars, and if is not deep mud, the loadstar still kick their... Rear bumpers
In onther things, i'm still "team azov", there's no replacement for what 64131 displaced 😂😂

I have mixed feelings about the Burlak. I did some of my own testing, even a race in multiplayer where an inexperienced driver took the stock Tatarin (without the advanced special gearbox) against me with the Burlak, taking the route in Kola Peninsula from Garage to Garage. The Tatarin won that race but the Burlak really gained some ground on the ice, however I did tip a couple times. Soon as it came to the mud and snow, the Tatarin was able to hold its speed where the Burlak slowed to a painful crawl. Then just driving around with the Burlak, I got frustrated with it constantly tipping over and it's VERY hard to get it back upright again.
Loadstar, that's just a fun truck :D
I do like Azov, but I use the 5319 for many tasks now, just because speed, oh and it's invulnerable front end lets you take some bumps without damage.
Got to agree on the assessment of the Burlak. It's extremely situational, despite towing versatility. Amazing clearance with those tires even if not the highest mud rating, pretty sure most repair parts of any scout (though only one spare wheel) and almost as much fuel as the F-750 (3 gallon difference). Also handles breaking ice well that could stop a Tatarin dead in its tracks when normally not much does.
But yes, heaven help you if you tip the Burlak, which is all too easy. I pulled it like it was nothing with the trusty K-700 a long stretch before it finally got back on its wheels (and stayed there). And Ben is right about its glacial pace. Especially when needing to drop it into low for diff lock frequently during stickier bits. I think it could use a touch more power, always on diff, COG adjustment, and medium (at least) autonomous winch. Dunno about anyone else, cool as it looks, I'm less likely to use something that tips that much and isn't easy to get back on its wheels.
That said, it's not a difficult unlock, and could help new players reach more stable vehicles potentially. I've grabbed the F-750 with it before, and the biggest engine for it.

You see many videos where they compare vehicles in a controlled environment and figure out which one handles the terrain better.
But what you don't see very much is the ability to shift between different terrain and how the vehicle handles it. This is pretty important. When you lose all your momentum because you have to drop to L+ when going into medium mud, but the Tatarin can keep its 5th gear without slowing down, it makes a difference.
Sure the Burlak can handle the deep mud better than the Tatarin but 80% of the map is the terrain that the Tatarin can handle better.
@@Paladwyn Yep. That and if there's any time gained through deep mud/snow conditions on level ground in the Burlak, you lose time when it tips and it's struggling to right itself elsewhere. Or worse, having to recover or rescue and drive back where you were when it tipped. Even on normal, that's a pain when it's a long or tricky drive. This game isn't exactly Forza when it comes to speed. So a drive back can be a huge time sink. I'd rather be a bit slower through deep mud or find a way around, than get far out only to tip the Burlak and it stay on its side.
Absolutely right about the usual terrain and Tatarin. It's the king of pure scouting in actual scout class vehicles. No doubt. It's like a classic horror movie baddie, slow and steady, never stopping. Just point it where you wanna go, and it will get you there without a sweat. Into the trees and up a mountain with it? Sure, why not. Cruise off that mountain? Ok, can do. If it somehow tips and doesn't land back on its wheels, the winch gets the job done. It's got a few weaknesses that generally can be planned for the few times it does come up short. The only thing is the slower unlock to get to Zimnegorsk and/or Rift for those who haven't done it yet or are starting again for fun.
Without it unlocked, I say can just grab the K-700 (and while in Glades, free Tayga 6436). Not a scout, sure, but great starting tires and decent steady power. Less than 10 minutes to grab it. Sure no autonomous winch or extra fuel onboard (and I do wish it had more light options), but it's great apart from that turning circle and no chains. With that monster, can unlock a lot pretty quick, and even the second best engine is usually enough (first is alright, just takes way less damage to be a problem) so don't have to farm till ready to unlock the gateway there.
That or for those not wanting mods but ok with stand alone truck DLCs, the Rezvani. Slower in some of that controlled testing I've seen, slowest actually of the 6x6 scouts through deep thick mud even with the JAT tires. But it's pretty cheap in game, no level requirement, has good power and speed through the less severe mud/snow, and is a decent medic scout (not as many supplies as the F-750, but also don't have to haul it to unlock and hunt upgrades to make it usable). And if it tips, not the end of the world, easy to get back on its wheels. Also while smaller tires I'm fairly certain, actually better mud rating with the JAT MS III than the best option for the Loadstar, though the dirt rating is less (JAT MS I ratings being the closest to the UOD II, by a bit less).
@@TheLexaBlack I had picked that route for the race because it has a bit of everything. It was a no-holds-barred race. Get to the finish however you see fit. Gotta kind of follow the path but it's more of a guideline. If your vehicle is disabled, get another and rescue it or lose.
Burlak won the first leg for two reasons. Crossing the frozen lake gave the Burlak a huuuuge headstart. But when getting to the dirt/mud I had to slow down. Ended up blocking the road and the Tatarin was literally pushing me from behind to get around. I was telling them "I'm trying!"
But the second leg, Burlak was put to absolute shame. Had that area by the airfield that's medium depth snow. Tatarin just chewed through that at full speed. Burlak was crawling through. Managed to regain some ground when we got to the ice again but Tatarin was so far ahead that it was already over.
So while the deepest mud will stop the Tatarin, it can just go around and hit the finish before the Burlak is halfway through.
Funny thing is, we did some more quests in the area and they grabbed the F750 and ended up using that truck for the rest of the scouting. It's fairly decent.

Anyone else notice how Saber Interactive have yet to change the wheel size name for the CAT telehandler? Sad. Still the "51 Inch" even though there is physically no way it can have a tire size that large.

Both pretty close, 612H is more versatile but the 605R does seem to be more reliable off-road.
I can’t even play snowrunner anymore it’s so bugged it crashes my Xbox within 2 minutes every time I get on. It’s so damn disappointing.
I get so many comments about this, needs fixing ASAP. Not cool.
