Gorgeous. What a treat! I love how aggravated our fine symmetrical German friend becomes by the variation in shades of orange on the spines of his albums! I am a graphic designer so I feel his pain!
It's amazing....we spend HOURS and YEARS on collecting vinyl, dialing in our system, isolation treatments, etc.....and yet a very simple idea like put the lps from a box set BESIDE the box on the shelf....never crosses your mind lol!!! I'm going t do that with some of mine.
Fantastic video! Thank you very much for the overview of your collection and system. Most impressive. It is obvious that it brings you much satisfaction and joy. Congratulations!
I love the way you have your box sets displayed. If you wanted to hear one record of a 5 disc box set but didn't want to unbox the whole thing every time, this is a great idea. It's also nice that you have enough room to display all of this. Very enjoyable video.
excellent segment. phenomenal collection & hi-fi system. love the steel shelving. would love to see another segment solely on the electronic & avant-garde stuff.
Been looking forward to seeing a deeper dive into your collection. Knew it would be stunning. Every collection large and small is always unique. Doing a great job with your channel. Thanks for putting it all out there.
WOW! What a fantastic collection and how you have stored the collection, I love it. When I get the the money I wanna do and have the same 🥰🤘👍 Keep on collecting my friend 😎👍
Amazing vinyl collection & stereo setup.. I like the light fixture how it covers the whole length of your equipment.. something I’ll look into. Thanks for the video ,
Awesome collection, Michael ! The Einstein Hifi set up is simply stunning , WOW ! German made audio gear is some of the BEST . Most of these albums were captured with Neumann , Sennheiser and possible Telefunken microphones . Thanks for sharing my friend !!!
Absolute Stunning collection Michael, amazing system too. God knows how long it must take you to decide what you want to listen too with your collection!!! 😁
Hi Michael -- thanks for the tour and for sharing your enthusiasm for vinyl, which is highly infectious, I must say! That's a jaw-dropping collection and audio system.
Wow. Just wow. Watching this just makes me want to visit you and listen to music! I would go right to your ERC section, maybe start with the Mozart a Paris set. Fantastic, just fantastic. What a wonderful library and hi-fi system. Just awesome.
Michael man this was beautiful I was drooling when you showed those Music Matters and SRX . Awesome variety Mofi , UHQR , Impulse you name it you have a true dedication of collecting I really dig it and the Einstein system really gets the best out of your vinyl records great tour My friend . Lovellandrew
You admit that you don't have much of a Beatles collection, but you have the best one ... The Mono Box Set !! First time I'm seeing any record collection organized label wise ... cool !! 😎
Great collection and tour Michael. Like you I store my audiophile records by label (1800 now). My originals and box sets have to live upstairs as there isn’t room (I keep saying we need to move!). Of course we have many of the same audiophile records but I do envy your ERC collection. I have only 3 but if I could go back I would have bought them all. Now they are too much - oh well. I have a lot of records but there are always more thankfully.
Amazing collection! I would need to have three different jobs to buy anything like this. And everything is so clean that I cant believe my eyes! :D Still beyond amazing.
Glad you explained your awesome steel shelving to begin with, it's what I was most curious about. I already know you own every audiophile pressing ever released lol.
Very interesting and yet rather sad in a way because I realise this gentleman will never have time to listen to his collection more than once or twice in his life time . We as collectors are just constantly chasing the next record and forgetting the point of the exorcise . I also notice a lot of the collection is based on new released records , which of it self is a very expensive way of amassing such a diverse portfolio . This is in no way a criticism far from it , but I notice a lot of people commenting feel that they will never be in a position to acquire such a collection . Trust me even if you have only a handful of this stuff we call vinyl you are rich beyond all measure . So sit back and enjoy the music and be at peace ✌️. Best wishes and kind regards to everyone .
Good points. I still have a small collection but have bought about 80 records so far this year, far more than ever. It is starting to feel out of control- mostly in a sense of difficulty getting to listen/know it all, but perhaps in some sort of low level addiction.
For this reason, my collection includes just 170 records. Of course, some more will come but I say: rather quality, instead of quantity. I own almost exclusively first pressings and also only albums that I -really- like to listen to regularly. Yes, a few exceptions are there - music that I still want to have here for the case but rarely feel like listening to that (maybe for nostalgia reasons, changed tastes, etc.) but I know so many people who permanently buy new records, which then lie around partially even for years in shrink or are listened to only once. Personally, I do not like this collecting mania... this pure accumulation of things at all. Also, many have not yet recognized what actually makes a good mastering. The differences are sometimes enormous and instead of 10 bad records, I prefer to buy one high-quality one. But this has to do with my own philosophy and should not be a valuation. Everyone can do as he wants.
let's be honest, if money was a huge factor in your life, you wouldn't be collecting anything. that being said, most collectors put all their money into the collection, so most of them aren't beyond rich really
Thanks for sharing! I don't think that I have seen records lined up so beautifully! You have inspired me to do similar with my collection albeit much smaller 1100 albums (and growing).
I am going to start organizing my box sets like you, brilliant! Also, would be great to see the childhood collection shelf you mentioned. I’m sure your 10 year old self would appreciate looking back at your “mastered from the original tapes” original collection :)
Thank you for allowing us audiophiles into your audio sanctuary. Absolutely beautiful!!!! In every aspect of your video. Since discovering you from the Panel from the Miles Davis UHQR video. I have since subscribed to your videos and really enjoy what you bring to the table for us audiophiles. Thank you 🙏
Like when you say the third shelf and final shelf... for now 😉 .Amazing collection you have and enjoyed seeing it all. I was looking out for the Tom Petty box sets but didn't see them. But OK come on... cheers
Just wow collection… I personally would have serious ‚problems‘ to decide which record to choose for the next listening session 😎….but this is a luxury problem. Impressive, Michael 👍🏼
Organising a collection is a trifle difficult and personal. My audiophile collection is also stored by label. My collection of original 1st pressings bought from new in the 1960 and 70's is alphabetic. CD's are by genre then alphabetic but these are mostly avant garde or electronica. Thank you for sharing
Michael, great collection there. Although I must say, You didn’t really give us a tour of the full music room though. I didn’t see the room, like where you sit to listen to music, a tour of the the whole room to give us an example of your listening experience in your music room. Hopefully when you get the other shelves you can show us the entire room, not just the collection. I will try to look for a great video of showing the entire room to give you an idea of what I mean. Well, you can even look at Mazzy’s when he shows his entire room, he actually gives us an example of an experience of how he has his listening music room set up in its entirety and we can get an idea of how he experiences listening to music and goes about picking up a record and where he sits and where he gets his coffee, that’s more of what I would like to see. Hopefully you decide to make another one later. Maybe you holding the camera yourself so you know exactly what you are showing. Don’t get me wrong, I truly appreciate you showing us your collection, and your system. I still think you should change the set up in your camera so that everything is in focus, and it doesn’t just look for your face to get it in focused. Ok, once again, me giving you feedback, hope you don’t mind. Thanks for showing us your collection!!
I always wondered about the shelf behind you, because of the colour coordination and because the records looked thicker than the ordinary (and older) releases. I'll have to go back and watch your videos on the avant-garde parts of your collection, these interest me greatly
Very nice that you share your record collection with us and the way you do it. Very impressive. I'd say I'm healthy jealous. Also the compliments for your refined audio equipment. I live nearby and would love to have a cup of coffee with you to see and hear it with my own eyes and ears 😜
Hey Michael Great video, been waiting for a long time to see your collection and it did not dissapoint. Glad to see you're making provision for expansion too. I do love those shelves, and thinking about something similar for my dedicated room (when we get around to getting it built) to house my collection, rather than trying to cobble together lots of kallax units from Ikea. Keep up the good work, and enjoy the music. Cheers Dean
Wow Michael you have an amazing collection, can tell how loved and cherished it is too, the black steel shelves are a really good idea and look great too, really enjoyed seeing what you have in your collection, many thanks for sharing on here Michael.
The Darth Vader breathing soundeffect was super audiofile :D
I was kind of hoping, after seeing all that vinyl, you were going to say "and here's my turntable" and pull out a Crosley Cruiser 😂
Hahaha best. comment. Ever.
🤣🤣🤣
It's fascinating how calm and composed he was showing his record while going through an earthquake 7.5-8 (Richter scale)
What earthquake and where ??
lol
@@hanifarjo5222 it’s a joke , because the camera is shaking
Freddie’s breathing added a certain ambiance to the video.
Poor guy, he should get that checked, I also have breathing problems.
He done good job. Lol
Quite simply - Wow!
Those black steel shelves are glorious.
Wonderful Michael ! Thanks for letting us into your private space.
Thanks Michael, Impressive, no doubt "You da man!"
Amazing Collection! Thanks for sharing, Michael!
Beautiful my brother, absolutely beautiful! 🤗😁
this is one of the best collections i have seen this far. The system kicks ass too!
Gorgeous. What a treat! I love how aggravated our fine symmetrical German friend becomes by the variation in shades of orange on the spines of his albums! I am a graphic designer so I feel his pain!

Agreed! Doing that also has the bonus of reducing shelf wear on the bottom of the boxes!
Agree as well! Also wonderful to watch someone who collects that actually use their records.
So many wonderful LPs shared in the video but having the records lined up beside their box is so sublime. Well done!!
the same here never crossed my mind, great tip
How can you not become an audiophile watching Michael's channel??? 🤘🏻😎
I know right?
Hahahaha! Most probably most of the viewers waited for this. :D
Deaf ears, love. And no money. That simple.
@@podcastwasmitrockundvinyl9387 LOL! 😂
Absolutely outstanding collection and Hindi system
blown away by the range of your collection, michael. electronic, avant garde, italian stuff, VODs, impulse.. amazing!
Fantastic collection, quite impressive. I've been collecting since the late 1960s and have over 30,000 33/45/78 in my collection.
Impressive Michael! Beautiful custom shelves. They are thin and almost disappear. Thank you for the tour!
Wow!!! Thanks Michael...how wonderful to see your collection a year after the pandemic started when I started enjoying your videos..many thanks.
Wow. Absolutely stunning collection and equipment! Drooling over here!
So super fun to watch. Thanks so much for this detailed view of all your gems (including your "fraternal twin" guarding shelf #1). Nikolas
Great idea with the box set storage, proves you actually listen to your records. Great collection !!
wow... fantastic. beautiful collection. well done.
Amazing, thanks for sharing! Love your passion!
Fantastic video! Thank you very much for the overview of your collection and system. Most impressive. It is obvious that it brings you much satisfaction and joy. Congratulations!
Great collection! So what I do now for the weekend... put out all the vinyl from the boxes 😊 great idea👍

I’ve been waiting for this video, amazing collection.
Amazing all around. From the shelves to the records to the gear. Impressive is an understatement. Thanks for the tour.

An enviable record collection and system: bravo, sir! Nice of Michael Myers to agree to operate the camera for you, too 😂
WOW! What a fantastic collection and how you have stored the collection, I love it. When I get the the money I wanna do and have the same 🥰🤘👍 Keep on collecting my friend 😎👍
It is great of you to do this. So kind. Also you have a beautiful home. Happy for you. :)
You’re setup is excellent.
