It's a longshot but since Second Sight knocked it out of the park with this release I now REALLY want them to do the same with Marshall's The Descent, I can hope 🤞
Speaking of The Descent, let’s hope Descent 2 gets a decent release at some point. It’s actually a very solid film..

@@MrMisuma The Descent Part 2 was average at best! The original Descent is a classic that deserves a 4K blu ray release done with care 📀
Art cards are usually smaller reproductions of cinema lobby cards which you don't really see much of these days. They were about A4 size and displayed in the Iobby of cinemas to entice you to go see a certain film.
I've been waiting for this and very pleased to see it's been reviewed so well. Not that I expect anything less than top quality from Second Sight! I will now order this and their recent release of Monster which I also want in my collection.
I know it's a low budget movie but it still blows my mind that they did and accomplished so much with just a budget of 2 million, giving us one of the greatest Werewolf movies ever made 👌

Looking forward to digging into my set it’s on my watch pile with a bunch of other BDs and UHDs I’m yet to watch.
The Scream factory 4K of this apparently has an audio glitch.
You should leave the shrink rap on and just use a knife to cut open the side where the discs and book come out, that way the floppy card stays in place and helps protect the packaging.

Wow! Can't wait to buy it. Love that film, recently bought and watched An american werewolf in London and The Howling and they both looked stunning on my LG c1 oled. I have the Sony ubpx700 4k player and I'm happy with it. Great video and production quality you got there. Thank you for your work, cheers from Sweden! :)
Love this movie, have the DVD, but it has never even been released on Blu-Ray before in the UK, so I was excited at this release. I went with the standard Blu-Ray as it was cheaper, and being shot on 16mm I can't imagine that the 4K offers much improvement over the standard Blu-Ray, and I assume the Blu-Ray is taken from the same new master as the new 4K.
Hi Elliot, I don't have a 4K player. I saw Dog Soldiers on DVD many years ago and remembered the video being raw. A streaming version has not been available in the U.S. for many years until it popped up on Amazon Prime Video a couple of months ago. I assume it's a recent transfer and enjoyed rewatching the movie on Prime.

I am a fan of Second Sight but I was watching the Arrow special edition of American werewolf in London and that pack just has a 4K disc. This I prefer. I dont buy a 4k film for a blu ray as well, its pointless. Reduce the price and ditch the blu ray i say!. As for this release , I had it on DVD back in the day and loved the film so will get it eventually. Great pack and I like the art cards.
Dog soldiers is an amazing werewolf film and I cannot wait to receive my 4k copy..
Can anybody tell me what happened to Dog Soldiers 2 that was supposed to have been released many many full moons ago? Did it get made or ?

This release is incredible, but ive got to admit, the film isnt my cup of tea, but still second sight is sbsolute class
I almost bought this set based on how nice it is. but in truth I haven bver seen this movie so I was relucant to blind buy a collectors edition to be honest
second sight is quickly becoming my favorite boutique distributor only downside is importing to U.S. it can get very expensive i prefer their versions to U.S. versions on the same stuff their limited edition packaging is always better if only they had a U.S. branch the last few weeks i got, drive, the witch and dog soldiers does anyone know what else their planning on releasing?
It's said they have 'Martin' (George A. Romero) in the pipeline as a 4K. How long that will be I have no idea. Also, I've heard they have the rights to 'The Hitcher'.
Up soon are a pair of Hammer films, 'The Mummy' and 'Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell' (both out 29th August), and 'Bull' on 26th September .
Well, the Hitcher and Romero's Martin is confirmed and I have heard rumors that they are also working on the Texas chainsaw massacre 4k.

I read somewhere that this on 4k pic quality isn't worth the upgrade, did this have a previous 4k release before this second sight?
Germany originally released the film in 4K but didn't do the best job. They didn't bother cleaning it up and the sound quality weren't great. But Second Sights relesse is a total remaster.
Apparently the German company KOCH previously released a digibook version, but a very poor transfer according to YT Euphoria Pictures
Hi everyone i bought the German Digibook version years ago because i loved Dog Soldiers. Would anyone recommend getting this release or should i stick? Many thanks
