“‘blue’ is a song about missing friends.
A lot of shit happened this year, and I realized that the only thing I really wanted to do was to share it with people who aren’t with me anymore.
It’s not even that we’re far away from each other. We just lose track of keeping in touch because we all have our own lives going on.
The ‘move on with the seasons’ line still kinda guts me when I read it.”

Man, this song hits me so hard.
It makes me think of my friends and how close we are and how I wish I could spend the rest of my life with them, but I just have a feeling that life might bring us apart and I can’t stand it.
I love them so much and they mean so much to me. We hang out a lot and I’m so scared that one day we won’t be going to Denny’s at midnight, or we won’t be sharing move nights or throwing thanksgiving/Christmas parties together.
That someday we all might move on with the seasons.
But for now I’ll continue to be thankful for the incredible friendships I have, and for having the opportunity to make such precious memories.

I know right, the thought that one day your friends will just move on without you and you won't be with them anymore...really scares me. I moved away from my home country to study overseas, but my best friends stayed. We still communicate quite often but the thought that someday we'll lose contact of each other frightens me-just crying from the thought of it haha. I dunno if they'll miss me but I love them so much and I cherish every moments I have with them.
