Jimmy all ways above and beyond what is required for the customer.
Thanks for noticing OB!
VW the adventures continue. Those rivnuts work well on lawnmower belt guards when the metal wears out.
Yeah they are very handy for lots of applications like that!
Thanks Lloyd!
Another Great day in the shop!!
Always try my best, thanks Scott!
Not sure if you torqued the lower ball joint nuts but if they are over tight that creates memory steer. Really bad on ford trucks.
Really I have not had an issue. I’ll double check it. Can’t see how the tapered ball joint to spindle taper tension effects the ball joints socket?
Have to check it. Thanks
My Dad had a 84 S10 with the 2.8 and 5 speed. He put 230K miles on it. He still had 2 of the original Tiger Paw tires that came on the truck. Sold the truck to a co-worker who ran the mileage up to 300K. Those S10s were great little trucks!
Yeah for sure! If I still had it I’d put an LS in it! Haha
Yep.. I remember upgrading the stereo and speakers in the late 1970's and early 80's...I also remember...growing up in NYC.. having multiple stereos and speakers stolen from my car shortly thereafter!! LOL.....
Haha oh yeah. I had gauges and stereos stolen, wheels and tires…
Then moved to Florida and the trend continued. Smh
Happy Birthday Jimmy!
Thanks very much Ted!
Happy Birthday Jimmy! I heard your main bearings knocking this morning! Lol
Oh yeah! Haha thanks Mitch!
Happy birthday Jimmy.
Thank you Declan!
Happy belated Birthday Jimmy. Great video of making the S10 work with custom retention mechanism.
Thanks 👍 much appreciated!
Just last night I had to take a bmw front door panel off to repair a door break stop..6 out of 10 push clips broken by the mechanic that did it last just left it that way..first thing I saw on this video is you and that 90's chevy door panel..happy birthday
Oh no! Haha hope you got it sorted the right way Steve! ;)
Jimmy’s next project S-10 with a big V8. I’m in for the long haul.
Might just happen! ;)

Happy birthday and love the t shirt
Thank you! :)
great video Jimmy. I sure hope that Bug has sentimental value to the owner, I could get a REALLY nice used car around here for that kind of $$. Hope you have an awesome day!
Yeah it’s a lot of money for an older car that is a little beat up.
Thanks Kathy, have a great day and weekend!
I worked on the door line that year, jimmy s10 93 (summer help)(may to sept). we also have the same month 🎂 hope you enjoyed it ! 🔧🔩⚙️🪛👍
Very cool! Thanks for
happy birthday jimmy

Happy birthday!!! From Denver. I rated your cars for you. All about 4 ratings
Haha thanks John!
We love you!!! Enjoy your birthday. Don’t do what I would lol!
Happy Birthday Jimmy! I heard your main bearings knocking this morning! lol Have you had any trolls give you a hard time about the Tundra? Awesome ride!
Yeah here and there, pretty funny to me. I guess it’s one way to kill time. :)
Have you seen the balancing powder that goes in the larger tires. Some use golf balls
Metal beads, or ceramic I think. We’ve used them on larger tires. They work ok, not great though.
@@JimmyMakingitwork probably not great for tpms
Been busy fishing alot
That is awesome!
You had an Alpine system when you were a kid? Man, us poor kids had to hope for a decent Realistic radio to go on sale at Radio Shack😅
My first radio was a Sparkomatic, analog no push buttons I bought at KMart for $50. In 1986.
Lasted about 3 months before it ate my favorite Van Halen cassette..😢
Haha yeah, I was working 50 hour weeks starting at 18 and most of my life since. Gotta make it work! ;)
Never heard of a Sparkomatic, lol.
Pedro, my chihuahua, is going in for a couple of tooth extractions. He hates the Vet; last time they removed his chickpeas. Since you control space-time, can you make it so that it has already happened? He knows he will lose seven times the time, never the less he trusts your math skills, as do I.
Rofl, hope it goes well Randy!
your amazing
Thanks very much!
It's not just a car jimmy. It's a Volkswagen.
Nailed it!
Happy Birthday Jimmy!
Thank you!
