"It's a creator tournament, not a competitive integrity tournament. It's just supposed to be entertaining"
next minute
"Why would you jump down for the 1v1? Because it would be entertaining? That's such a chatter opinion. You're all so stupid"
what?
Another Max L when it comes to exploits.
Missing the point entirely. Most don't care the fan favorite didn't win, they're upset they lost to a blatant, intentional exploit, and nothing will be done about it.
Yeah it’s terrible that perfect exploitation is what is considered good in wow nowadays
I swear in Lol, if there's even a possible bug, the game INSTANTLY get's paused and admins look at it, they come to a decision and usually chornoboon it
It's not a serious tournament lol, it's purely promotional. The casters were just joking around trying to convince weaker teams to gang up on the top teams, and invitations were purely just choosing streamers with any adjacency to wow/blizzard as opposed to picking "top" plunderstorm teams. I don't know why people are complaining about a competitive integrity in a tournament that Nyanners and Silvervale are competing in 😂
@@ssv-y2qso you compare a compatitive tournament with a fun tournament? yeah that makes a lot of sense
@ Even in riots for fun tournaments this applies
Totally off the mark on this: one bad take after another for the whole clip.
Its not about xar & pika losing or any of the other team losing. Its about the fact that Gingi exploited a spot where he was invulnerable to storm damage to win the game.
Normally that would disqualified a person.
People seething because Gingi got lucky, followed a Liquid player into the spot, and won. Embarrassing that peoples fandom blinds their ability for basic cognitive reasoning.
Nothing to do with xar or pika dude. The guy that won used an exploited spot. Give the win to the next alive instead of that garbage win.
People are mad cuz the winner cheated. Period.
Funny what Americans count as cheating. If gingi had decided to land anywhere else, trill would have won the round that exact position.
@ then we’d be saying Trill cheated. Which he did attempt to do. Also, not American.
I just find it funny gingi who had outrage and tried to get people banned during the race to word first pulls some bs like this guy has zero integrity
When you look up the word Exploit, it should be a photo of Gingi
magic anti lightening roof probably is not working as intended, kind of means its cheating.
It all falls back on blizz's hands period. If you're going to put $50k on a tourney at least have some sort of rule integrity. If people just stopped watching this then it'd get fixed. As a spectator, I felt like I wasted my time watching this.
Gingi and Cheating goes together like peanut butter and jelly
"Naa we good cuz blizzard Supports and like maggots who suck and drive tis way:)"
Yea.. most people will still see whats wrong
I think the format is cool. If you just go off most points, you can stop watching after 2 or 3 games. This way is more entertaining to watch.
Just the way it ended was very weird and the show didn't deserve such an ending, but that's not the players fault, it's the game allowing it.
Way off base @maxim, the fact that xar/pika didnt win is at best tangent to it all. And I may even understand Gingi's knowing exploit. He plays to win and doesn't care about integrity - fine. The pathetic part is that blizzard is not overruling.
I'm not mad because "Xar and Pika didn't win." I didn't consider than an option. I was just like 'damn, they got second, not bad' until I found out that the winner was Gingi, with zero kills, using an exploit, as he does in all the high level content that he tries to play in. If Guzu and Savix, who snuck up on Pika, were to win, I wouldn't be upset. If Gingi won by killing people, I wouldn't be upset. I'm mad that the winner basically cheated and showed zero skill to win.
L take, has nothing to do with who didnt win, and everything to do with how the win was handled. Should have gone to the second last one that was alive. Its like taking a shortcut in a 400m running race and expecting to still win because the shortcut was accessible during the race. You as the competitor should never try to outsmart the event organiser as they have the power in the end. Unfortunately blizzard is the organiser and wow pvpers are the competitors so no surprised what so ever 😂
Of course he's gonna say it's not an exploit. They were going to do it first. They also try and cheat every race (both echo and liquid) so to them, there are no such things as an exploit. If there was a button that would instantly kill the boss they would try to defend using it.
Echo cheated again to win a tournament. Wow surprise. Just like mdi, just like RWF, just like wotlk speed leveling, just like threads rep
It’s just an org full of cheaters. If they perma for this ONE time, it never happens again.
i completely agree, but no one is gonna ban Echo, they may be drama queens, but they bring in viewers and are free advertising
unless there is another way to bring in viewers, they have an umbrella protecting them (they survived Josh after all)
@@backtrakk2121 im not saying perma the guild. I'm saying perma one guy who is notable. no single streamer in a top guild is as beneficial to advertising the game as preserving the integrity on broadcast.
If they perma gingi or meeres or naowh or scripe it all ends.
@@skarb5797 fair enough, it would of been nice to see Pika and Xar get the win though
How are people this mad. I really dont get it. Exploiting is such a loose term nowadays.
I don't see how it is cheating when it is clearly mistake made by Blizzard and they probably already knew before the Event. They could've put out a Rule that disallows using this Strat. They obviously didn't. Don't be mad at the Player for finding the Stuff and using it just because you didn't know about it. That's just cringe.
Example I take the same stance on people who flamed and wanted Firedup banned. He just found a mistake made Blizzard and used it.
But maybe thats just my Standpoint coming from an Competitive Angle and I can't see the casual side of things.
@ if cheating is competitive then explain why most cheaters who get caught get their trophy's taken back and names removed? maybe its a skill issue?
The main rage is that gingi stole the win from cdew's team by just straight up cheating.
We're all so tired of blizzard being cowards about exploits and want this 'exploit early exploit often' garbage to stop.
It ruins competitions every time for me. It stops all wow competitions from being fun or interesting. I'm so fed up of almost every single competitive PvE event being decided by 'we found the most important bug and abused it harder than the other guys'. Blizzard need to grow a pair and stop letting cheaters prosper.
It is funny tho Cdew & Mes did the same exploit in a public game the night right before & said it was a good strat lool, kinda ironic
But yeah they should have just told the streamers no tower sitting I think houses is fine cus u can reach them with double jumps
It's an exhibition match, if you are tryharding with that exploit you deserve the L.
they should just award money for each game to make each one exciting. Most wins gets a cosmetic trophy. Everyone knows Xar and pika performed the best. No one considers Gingi and meeres the legit champions, so we might as well have something to celebrate xar and pika's performance while still acknowledging that gingi and meeres won the final game
Gingi the prolific exploiter
cheater won
My question is what heck are the points for???? Useless information at the end of the tournament 😂
points are deciding how early you can claim your victory, so it matters during the tournament -- and who gets 2nd and 3rd
I can't believe that in a battle royal, the team that took the highground won. that would never happen in fortnite, or apex, or warzones, or...
yeah understandably you can't have a fully competitive rule set if you have as dominant a team as Pika and Xaryu cause it wouldn't have been interesting it was apparent by game 3 they'd have by far the most points. Feels a little silly to have the points system like that to begin with though but obviously you need some way to track who could potentially win. Only real bad thing IMO was the rule for game 8 where just who ever wins there takes the whole tournament thus making the previous 7 games entirely irrelevant. Obviously it didn't come to that and I'm overall fairly content and impressed especially since the hilarious results of neither Gingi nor Meeres having a single kill in that final game xD
It’s definitely not unwatchable to have a normal BR tourney. Obviously just need to have better players or open tourney
Call me crazy but I feel like if anyone other than gingi pulled the same stunt it would be WAY less controversial.
Genuinely, if Xar or Pika got in that spot and won that way, half the people crying would call it a smart gamer move.
That said, let's keep it a buck: the fact that it was GINGI of all people is absolute cinema. Could not have written a better script.
Obviously the most prolific exploiter in the game deserves to be judged more harshly for doing it than we would if it was someone doing it for the first time. Duh.
@ couldn’t I argue that if it’s only wrong when gingi does it, then it’s not actually that big a deal?
@ Who said it's only wrong when he does it? Don't put words in my mouth.
Except if Xaryu got up there, he would realize it's bad, call it out, and probably leave. Gingi was probably LOOKING for the exploit, because that's what he does in every single high skill situation he's ever been in. You're right, we're more mad that it's Gingi, and it's because he tries to cheat. Xaryu and Pika try to actually win with skill and it's not rewarded.
@@TraxisOnTheLines Gingi followed Liquid Trill up to the the spot. He didnt even know it existed and got there by pure luck. If it wasn't Gingi it would have been Trill winning from the same spot.
xaryu and pika fan here, i wish they won but 50k on the line, 99.99% of the human race would pull a Gingi. the other .01% is Xaryu doing it for Glory xD
top tier glaze right there
No, 99.99% of the human race would not steal 25k from someone given the chance. It's wild you're trying to claim that.
The 25k was going to somebody, it's not like this was a solo competition.
Far from 99%. All of these people have money. Most of them have enough money that 25k isn't a big deal. Yes, 25k is a lot, but all of them are very successful, popular streamers, who are not struggling financially. The money isn't what matters, Gingi winning by cheating matters.
Exploiting nerds crying cause people don’t like when they exploit. Won’t be rooting for liquid next race.
Gingi exploits again. What a turd.
i mean if we are being honest here he just copied Trill, if it wasnt him it was gonna be Trill and Max winning the exact same way
Max has gotten out of touch, too big for too long now
Usually no clue what's the point. Cheat more and find out
Nah, I'd win
I honestly feel sad for the folks that are so disappointed over this…
That is a lie: I give zero fucks over the bumhurt feelz of PvP tryhards that want a promotional tournament to be the pinnacle of esports competition rather than the meme entertainment it is… Turn off Twitch and go touch grass - you’re not chill enough to hang with the nerds :P
It stopped being fun entertainment to me when the climactic moment was spoiled by one dude camping a tower abusing a bug.
That ruined the fun.
