Love the honesty about wanting it cosmetically. I see people make up stuff all the time about the reason they needed a full nose job. It’s valid to want a nose job just because you want to change the way it looks. 💗
I’ve been loving how real your content has been lately, always feels like I’m facetiming my friend & catching up ❤️ Your attention to detail and ability to make everything feel like magic is such a blessing to those around you 🦋Thank you for shining your light in the world 🤍
Hey, just remember that a wedding doesn't have to cost 40k. I couldn't have spent that if I tried. It's not about the 'gram, it's about the man. And tacos.
Your nose looks great! And I think you'll be happy you did it when you get your wedding pictures. These are the type of things you will just always notice about yourself. Your wedding doesn't have to be more than the cost of your nose by the way. Everything included that's what we spend and it was beautiful.
I truly never noticed until the then and nows, and your nose now looks incredible! I’m so glad you went with your initial gut feelings and went ahead with the revision! So happy for you friend!!!!
At first, I didn’t think these surgery vlogs would be relevant to me because I had no plans to get nose work done. But two weeks ago I broke my nose and now I’m 5 days out from fracture reduction and septoplasty. I have the full set up with the cast and splints and your recovery videos were so helpful in preparing for the surgery and knowing what to expect! Thank you for sharing! 🤍
The nose was definitely worth it ❤ I hadn’t really paid much attention to how bad the infection had damaged your nose until you pointed it out but as you look at your face a lot more and close up I could see how it would’ve bothered you especially when you had already had surgery to improve the look you wanted. You will be happy to have your new symmetrical nose in your wedding photos 😉 and weddings like rhinoplasties vary greatly in their cost 😉❤ Ps so glad your Dr is covering the hospital stay thats great news!
Watching this from the UK is mindblowing. One gall bladder surgery = free. One thyroidectomy = free. Several births = free. I know none have been optional surgeries (which I guess this is) but I am so grateful to have my health taken care of for free (and all went well). So glad you're happy with the results - you were beautiful before and beautiful now, but it's how we perceive ourselves that counts. Much love.
Overall, the USA would save money as a country if we went to universal health care. Unfortunately, as you might know, we have an entire political party (and insurance industry lobbyests) pretty much opposed to anything that would move our society forward.
@@aksez2u agreed. I think there’s this perception that it would cost loads to introduce universal healthcare but Im in the UK and I pay less in taxes than I used to pay for health insurance living in the US (I was only there a year though)
Your nose shape is literally perfect now, he really did an incredible job!!! 👌☺ Phew, glad the cost of the medical stay due to the antibiotic prescription error is being covered. You didn't mention is the hardening of the nostrils a permanent thing? Or will they become flexible again over time when all the inner stitching is gone?
Yeah thank goodness for insurance! My 20-min ambulatory procedure with anesthesia was $48,000. They also made me PREPAY the estimated fees I'm responsible for. This is in NYC. Oh yeah, I also work for that hospital 🙄I'm not sure about your situation with the meds, but I know a lot of doctors are no longer using the dosage abbreviations QD (once/day) and QID (4x/day) because of the chances of mistakes. Thank you for sharing your journey!!
Isn't it interesting how everyone's experience and hospital system is so different. I had surgery in February and only paid $150 because I work for the hospital system where I had surgery in the Midwest. So thankful for good insurance.
I hope you were able to negotiate a discount. Much different than you, but I went to emergency room and had X-rays and it was $1770. I asked for a discount if I paid in full and got 20% off.
Your surgeon did a beautiful job. Your nose looks great. I know I will get some hate for my next comment.... Have you considered not letting your dog lick your face? It's my understanding that dogs can transmit MRSA to people by licking them. Max is such a cutie pie and pretty hard to resist, but it will be a real shame if this happens again. I am not a healthcare professional and might be completely wrong about this, but it's worth considering. Anyway, congrats on the beautiful outcome. It will be so nice for you to not have to think about it anymore. Who knows how much worse it could have eventually become. Going for the long-term solution was a good decision.
It turned out so beautifully, you look gorgeous!! Also can’t express how much I am looking forward to wedding content from you (however you feel that reflected in your plans and want to share)! So so happy for you and Jordy, you seem to complement each other so well. 😊
Thank you, Michel, for posting this video I am sure that it will be so helpful for anyone having a similar type of surgery 🙏👏🏻🤞 You must be so thankful for the success of it as well as the fact that you are 8 weeks into the healing process 😊 Thank God that you were able to get rid of the staph infection 🙏 You look to be healing beautifully‼️❤️🤞 Jordy has been so loving and supportive of you during your recovery ❤️🩹 He is a real keeper 💕🎶 you are both very blessed to have found one another❤ I wish you a wonderful life together👏🏻💚🍀🌟
Your nose looks perfect!!! I'm glad to see you've healed so well. Tip about sneezing: If you feel a sneeze coming on, focus on keeping your eyes wide open, to not blink, and it will keep you from sneezing.
You look great! I had both knees replaces 6 months apart. My surgeon told me to expect 18 months to 2 years for all the swelling to go down. It’s true, I am now 18 months for the first knee and 13 months for the second. It is still a work in progress though😉😊
Your nose came out beautiful and and I can see the difference. Maybe it was a blessing you had it done before engagement because you might not of had it done. It just looked so terribly painful and don’t let anyone ever call you a wimp, because that was intense.
Your nose looks great!! Could you share how you found and chose your doctor? I need a revision as well but I'm having a hard time finding someone who I feel I can trust. Did you hear about him by word of mouth, online reviews, etc? Did you consult with several surgeons? How did you know he was the right choice for you?
Where did you get your nose done? It’s so beautiful. I’m looking for a place to get a revision done but don’t know where to go. I’d appreciate if you could tell me the doctor’s name. Thank you!
Thanks for this Michel! I want to get my nose done in the future (considering Turkey probably) but I am very nervours about anesethia and all. Your nose looks great!
How did the infection develop years after the initial rhinoplasty, I didn’t know this could happen? Was the infection related to the first rhinoplasty and if so how, or did it just so happen to be in your nose? Thanks for the video ❤
Your nose looks great! Was the MRSA Staph Infection caused by the nose job you got prior or was it caused independently? I’ve been looking into getting a nose job for a long time but now I’m nervous about contracting mrsa from it.
Thank you for sharing 💜 I should have mentioned this before or maybe someone else did, but have you thought about getting a red light therapy panel for at home use to help your recovery along? There's a lot of great benefits and it helps with bone density. I use it for my arthritis. Hooga health is the most cost efficient I have found that offer NIR also 😊
Thanks for video. It was nice to see summary. Note: 1/2 of the cost of a wedding???? It would be amazing to see you do a great wedding on a budget less than your surgery. Show how a beautiful, Michel style wedding can happen without breaking the bank.
I appreciate all the info because I have been considering something very similar. I had a nose job before and had the nostril collapse so it loos very similar to your before with it looking crooked and just a slit of a nostril.
Hi Mitchel. Thank you for this very informative video. I just have a question. I also just had a nose revision surgery which like you said involves a lot more reconstructions and reshapings. I also had an implant using my ear cartilage from my ear. After my cast was removed I can barrely recognize myself :( I feel like a different person.. I miss my old noae already. But my surgeon said once the swelling has subsided probably after 3 months, everything will start to blend in with my face... Is this true? did you have a lot of swelling in the beginning too? Did your nose eventually shrink to the desired outcome? I just need some reassurance. Thank you so much in advance.
Hi, Do you know how you got the MRSA 6 years after surgery the first time? Did you have a cut or did you pluck any nose hairs for it to get into the skin? Thanks afor the video!

Hey, just remember that a wedding doesn't have to cost 40k. I couldn't have spent that if I tried. It's not about the 'gram, it's about the man. And tacos.
Yes! We spent less than around 12k on our 50 person wedding last year. It requires some choices, but we had a food truck and it was was a blast! 🎉
We did a registry office and a meal with 20ish family members afterwards. Our wedding cost less than $5000 and it was perfect
We spent about $6000 on ours. Not counting the rings.
My wedding was $1000 but my dress was also $1000😅
Married 5 years now, wedding for $6000 😏 Including dress and honey moon!!
You’ve always been gorgeous! But I will say that I LOVE your nose revision. Absolutely fitting and natural!
