I never thought it'd be possible to explain clearly how to sew a kimono in less than 9mins. But you did it ! And it looks so easy. I'll try it when I find the perfect fabric ! Thank you for your explanations.

Hi Emrys san, thanks for the compliment! :D yes, I also didn't expected such a short video for this explanation. Here I tried to make sewing scene as short as possible. I'm happy you're going to give it a try! Just let me know if you have any questions.

I bought the pattern for the kimono, though I'm not sure what size to say, or if they need other specific measurements

If you are woman, your perfect length of a kimono will be your height +3-4 cm, and if you a man, that'll be your height from a shoulder to an ancles, and length of sleeves should be right down to your wrists. The perfect width measures on the back side of kimono and will be equal to a half of your hip circumference.

For #6 i cannot tell if you are tri folding and ironing the top where its one long continuous fabric or the bottom with the two legs of fabric. Your visual looks continuous but when you zoom out, it looks like the legs. Can you elaborate?

Also... I'm not sure how but I ended up with three long rectangular fabric pieces that seem to be for the collar. Is there supposed to be three or only two?

Also... In your video you don't show which is the base collar and which is the cover collar. This makes it harder for me to know which to fold a certain way. Is the longer one the base collar?
