Loved the video. Agree with score but many waters would score differently during different parts of the year. Fall fishing is definitely going to add to the overall score. Nice cutt!
I learned to fly fish on the Logan. Took me weeks of going out regularly while I was in college before I finally hooked into my first fish. Lots of good memories. Watching this makes me want to make the short trek north one of these days to hit it again. It's been 10 years.
Another sweet video Brody! Just camped up there w my son. Beautiful but gets busy. Still plenty of water to fish if your adventurous. Take care dude✌️ Steve
This video is awesome, and I would love to learn what to use for logan river as this is my closest river and I don't know what to use or techniques for logan river because i am starting to fly fish myself, so could you possibly do a guide series after your rating series? Going back through the rivers that you have fished and teach how you fish these rivers, and when the hatches are and how to fish the water all year round? It would be greatly appreciated!
I live in Logan and fish the river often. (In fact, I became a fishery ecologist at USU). So, I'd be happy to meet with you sometime to show you the ropes!
One of my favorite streams to fish. A Yellow Humpy or hi-vis elk hair caddies on the right day can provide for a lot of fun. Of course, a hopper will illicit some great action as well. Blacksmiths Fork Canyon is a beautiful area to be in. Peace.
Living in Logan right now and have been trying to hit this river every week!! Caught a BEAUTIFUL cutthroat last week! I like your rating! For me it's higher just cuz I live here

That’s an amazing place to learn how to fly fish!
Wonderful video and great concept for series! Liked/subscribed. Hope to try fly-fishing in the US one day, you've got beautiful spots.
Thanks, appreciate the support!

Thanks Steve!
Great video! Love that river. Are you above the dams? Any luck near the top of the river off hey toward Idaho?

@@FSBrody hit me up if you want someone to fish with haha
Will do! 🤝🏻
Can't wait to tell bring all my fiends to these rivers! This is going to be great! the pressure score will be going up!
?
@@FSBrody your bringing more pressure to all the streams you mention online
@@rgt321 a simple google search brings people to the streams. It’s content dude, people like to see a river before they fish it.
@@FSBrodythis is just another form of spot burning bro lmao. There’s a reason most people keep shit to themselves
@@ethangarland8034 It’s public water dude. Anyone can fish this river. Stop trying to gatekeep, it’s the worst thing about fishing in Utah.
Logan has white fish as well!
Oh sweet! I guess most rivers in Utah do, but we didn’t run into any.
Logan River has very few fish over 16 inches
That may be your experience, but I’ve seen some huge fish pulled out of the Logan.
Blacksmith fork
Mostly fair. The pressure score is wrong though. The logan is a zoo.
I’m sure it can be, but we think based on the fishable water and the amount of pull offs, it’s rather good compared to places like the provo or Weber.
