@@Julia-zz1gq but nirvana wasn't just Kurt. As much as I think about great people that were lost especially to suicide: chester Bennington, Chris Cornell, and Kurt Cobain. They are absolutely legends to me, at least. However, Dave grohl is also a legend to me and he deserves his take on being in nirvana as well. The only person who can speak for Kurt is Kurt. I'm extremely thankful for always being able to go back and listen to him, but there was nothing Dave grohl could of really said for Kurt. In short I respect your opinion but just try and see it from that perspective. Either way I believe Kurt would be proud of Dave and proud of nirvana.

I was lucky to go to The Crocodile, Under The Rail and RCKANDY before these magnificent venues became condo's and hotels downtown. My FedEx career for 20 years allowed me to deliver to both Kurt and Courtney's house on Lake Washington and to Eddie Vedder....and ive met Danny bonaduce - who was a radio dj up here for years and is now retiring...I've been up here now for 30 years and it's still my favorite city...

Kurt Cobain himself would never have agreed to joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He would have seen it as an institution in which he did not belong. He didn't want to be part of some cozy rock club. He wanted to fuck with the establishment, and stand up for the underdog. Still, it's good that Nirvana's surviving members can enjoy the moment many years later.

The honesty, rage, rebelliousness of the music can't be denied and for so many people who felt different, not the norm, Kurt's lyrics spoke like this wasn't so. Nirvana was touring Australia when their popularity exploded worldwide, they played a pub gig where people were climbing through the bathroom windows to try to see them live. Also played the Big Day Out Festival Tour that summer which would've been fn amazing.
