I have stock boots with a boost bottle.. you think I should get new stock boots with stock crossover tube.. or I was looking at aluminum individual boots with no crossover at all.
DanH before he could finish ordering parts his house burnt down completely. When he gets back on his feet he’ll be upgrading reeds, timing plate and carbs.
South Texas Banshee ahh yea I remember you saying that in an earlier video. I hope he is doing well and getting everything sorted, that’s an unfortunate situation for sure.
Only trouble with UPP intakes from my experience is POD clearance hitting pipes with 33pwk or larger carbs. The billet intakes move the carbs back farther and down giving clearance so you don't burn air filters. You could use reed spacers with UPP's but then you open yourself up to more air leak potential. Also you can change carb setups easily by swapping out manifold boots.
Thanks for This video I have a question my buddy told my not to go with the billet upp and to go with the regular upp intake but because he had some problems with it what’s your take on the billet I’ll be running pwk35 on a 7 mill
Martin Maciel if it was up to me, I’d run plain old intakes. More of the billet ones I’ve used always give me grief. If this was my engine I would have ran stock intakes with a crossover.
Your buddy is going to be so happy and he is going to have a blast great job big K 🤙🤙
Thank you for making this!.... If you had used the plain regular ol intakes, would you have used the same sealing process with the sealant?
Good job on the update video an if you going to have T-shirt made soon I’m going to be first to get them TEAM STB🤗

Hello Kevin,
What do you think about this chinese intake ? No problem with vf4? Good stuff ? Thanks
Why would he use factory reeds and blocks on this build? Wouldn't he be maximizing the engine with aftermarket ones?

@@WestCoastRoller yeah I that’s why I like my billet intakes, the pod filters on my 39mm pwks clear my shearer stinger tubes no problem.

Anybody else having the problem of the carb gas line hitting the exhaust after billet intake install?:/
