i want to compliment you on producing videos in 2 languages. I can only imagine the time involved in this. Your English is quite good. I hear you improving by the day!
Thank you so much!! Your words are giving me motivation to keep going on!
I also love how happy you get with surprising and interesting results.
It is like Christmas with each revealing of the tags! You are so adorable!
What I like about your videos is that you think through why and how you alter items like this. You want to make the backing less boring, but the user might want to journal on it. Nice!
Thank you so much ❤️
Super fun, making masterboards is always fun and in this way you make it even more fun. Put some glue on the area’s where the thread is cut and it will hold.
Have a lovely week dear Luise and today is mail day 😉💐🌸
Thank you so much for watching! I am excited!! Oh I am so excited!
I’m really enjoying your videos, Luisa! Your enthusiasm is inspiring & engaging. You are excellent at this! 🍁🌹
I agree that it's so much more fun to cut the master board "blind" :). And I love your idea of sewing around the tags before cutting them. I will remember that! :) Your tags turned out so cute! GLG Barbara
Thank you so much!!
I think it's a very nice master board.
Thank you so much for doing this in English. I enjoye your videos very much.
Thank you so much ❤️
You are such a brave soul to sew and then cut! Wow those tags turned out to be so fantastic.! I loved the dried flower, too.
Thank you very much
I love these! Such happy accidents on the back of each tag! I am enjoying this series so very much.
Thank you so much!!!
PRECIOSOOOOO, gracias por compartir y regalar momentos de alegrías.
Great idea! Exactly by using the same papers over and over again the journal flows in the theme! Love how you do it🥰! Your English is great! 😉😉💕
Thank you so much for being here with me again!
Intriguing! I enjoyed your happy sighs and delighted chuckles. They turned out great!
I love this Luise ... I've done this before myself and the results are always fun 🙂
And I love your dried flowers very much
Cheers from Faith in BC Canada 🇨🇦 👋
I really like this idea Luise! I can even use book pages instead of scrapbook paper for the base. TFS! 😊 xxJeanne
Thank you so much ❤️
Love watching your videos
I'm going to try this! It's sooooo cool! Thank you ❣️
Loved this idea Luise, and I am really enjoying this series... your laughter is infectious and you have me laughing along with you... I don't want this to end... lol.. Cheers for sharing....
Thank you so much for those words! To hear that means the world to me!
I love your happy sighs when you see how beautiful the result was! I learned master board collaging/ tags etc. from Rachel at RoxyCreations. She likes to cut that way so the result is a surprise. Some of her weekly challenges are done using the master boards. Still, you have given it your own style. I would never write on those, they are so cool.
Thank you so much ❤️
Hello from Phoenix, Arizona, USA! Luise, I love this Tea Bag Birds series you made! You have given us a master class in the principles of art while making a beautiful junk journal! In this video you used the technique of “mystery cutting” your paper. I first saw this on MayMay Made Its channel. I thought you might enjoy watching it. MayMay Made It
Also, I am a retired English as a Second Language teacher. I plan on watching the German videos to learn some German. I could give you some English tips and you could do the same for me in German if you would like. Let me know.
Yeah, why not, that's a great idea
I loved watching this. I kept hearing people mentioning master boards and I decided to look them up. Voila, here you are. I must say that gesso idea with the damp wipe is genius.. and one more thing, I’m in love with those bird tags u were showing at the beginning of the video. So very pretty.
I really didn't think the backs were going to be light enough to write on but it's like magic how most of them turned out just fine and really pretty besides!
To be honest, first I also thought that will become a fail... But Gesso is like magic 🪄
I L I K E!! JUST COOL. Especially like the back side of the tags. Hope to try this.
Have fun!!
Great ideas! I really enjoyed this video and will be trying these techniques. Thank you.
Thank you so much ❤️
Luise! Your happiness for the results is contagious and now I'm happy too! I haven't tried this random tag placing yet but I'm sure I will get there soon. The most important is that besides the inspiration you spread joy and smiles!!! Vielen Dank ❤️
Aww! Thank you so much for those words! That makes me happy again!!!
💙 so good!
Thank you
LOL Thank you for this! Again, you give us such good detail in how your mind organizes the pieces (I'm still at basic collage steps, and so hearing your more advanced view of color, texture and direction are very educational) and then showing us how to use our pieces once we've finished the master board! As always, thank you for sharing you and your thoughts.
Makes me more than happy that it was helpful! Thank you so much for your words!
I’m new to your channel and I enjoyed your tutorial.
Wait, this is not your main job? I can’t imagine that you would have the time for anything else. Love this series it and you are awesome😊
The video is a bit older. Now it is my main job, but when the video was recorded I had a full time job here at the campsite where I'm living plus my TH-cam channel plus my Etsy store 🥴
Oh my goodness! I have been lurking in the privacy of my darkened room to watch your inspiring videos. i ordered several @timholtz oxide pads and couple sprays too! Sari silk, ephemera packs to get started.. I ordered some clearance paper packs to start making pages to begin making signatures.. I need to find a book to direct to a jourhal and repurpose it.
I can't thank you enough for sharing you artistic sryle with us. I have been trying to choose what i have, but ihave too much of single things. Not enough variety.
Question: are there swap groups that share various materisls? I need to build up my tiny things for collage fodder.
Thank you! There are several swap groups on Facebook I guess. But I can't give a link because I am not member of those groups
I love your weird English. It reminds me of childhood.
So beautiful, so cool, so nice, so cute ! Your tags turned out soooo gorgeous, I really love it with the sewing ! Just one question : where can I find such dark brown papers with printing on it that you used to create the masterboard ? Or do I have to (coffee)dye paper ? Thank you very much, Luise !
You can use everything you have. Of course coffee dyed papers would work well too!
