    in the 90's hand wound brushed electric motors for racing were sold as having substantial performance increase over perfect aligned machine winding. If the test sheets are correct it would increase the performance of the motor can be enough to be worth the labor. had some Shocking coffee. Have an awesome Monday

    I heard the military uses 24 volt systems in all their vehicles. Why don't civilian passenger cars do the same? Is 24 volts enough to be dangerous?

      Not really. For a while in the 70s I carried a 24 volt Jeep battery in my trunk for jumping off cars... Can't do that now ... It would damage the electronics.
      The higher voltage allows for more efficient power distribution, especially in extreme conditions. Additionally, it provides greater compatibility with military equipment, such as radios and other electronic devices
