No disrespect, but Tough Crowd was basically just a Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher clone, the only real difference was Colin's roundtable was just comedians, instead of a mix of comedians and a couple other celebs or politicians.

When Jimmy changed his opinion on Face Off,Nigga vs Nazi challenge, his Sci-Fi movie names are bits I go back to at least once a year and still laugh just as hard as when I first heard them.

I’ve seen New York Story on Netflix like 30 times. It’s just him rattling off all the ethnic stereotypes in order of when they immigrated to New York. Only he could get away with that today
Man this show really separated the men from the boys in comedy. Famous comics who’d go on and say almost nothing or get angry when the regulars smashed em. Then others who really dished it back. So many great screaming matches between Colin and Patrice too. Please get around to more Colin sometime. Truly one of the best today or ever
I use to watch Tough Crowd every night it was on. I want to say it was on Mon-Thurs after the Daily Show for 2-3 years. It was the best. Great host, great guests, great discussions, great comedy.

the best story a comedian ever told was when Kevin Hart was still doing clubs, someone threw a phone book on the little stage, and it was Patrice, he told Kevin to find the number of the joke store to get some better jokes.
Tough Crowd was one of the best shows that was ever on TV. And where I fell in love with Patrice O'Neal. His honesty was amazing. This show changed so much for me. Only show on TV where everyone was honest about everything. The regulars were also some of the best comedians around at the time and are still amazing. They took the shit they were doing at the table from the cellar and put it on TV. Y'all should hit up more Tough Crowd. Pretty sure I brought it up years ago in multiple comments. Glad it's finally happening.

I can't be understaded how much Patrice carried this show cause when the other comedians (besides Greg Giraldo) would try to make a joke it would bomb horrendously
That’s the beauty of it though. Jim Norton’s Pac-Man joke, Nick DiPaolo’s pants comment to Keith Robinson that got a full 4 seconds of silence, half of the things Rich Vos said. It’s an acquired taste in comedy but it adds a lot to the charm
Patrice was excellent with prepared jokes, and in a league of his own when it came to riffing off the cuff humor. He would've been HILARIOUS if he was still alive today with all the crazy BS we have going on.
