Dan Harmon has talked about the reason the sixth season opens with this: Their sets had been moved from Paramount Studios to CBS, and the cafeteria set now had giant construction columns running through it. So this was written in as the new cafeteria having "load-bearing columns" because of the Frisbee collapse.
It's a Blade Runner reference. Part of the main villain's iconic speech in that movie. I *highly* recommend checking it out, damn good movie.@@danteheartnet
I assume that the pile of frisbees Garrett is on are real and he is pushed by them. (maybe they have a machine pushing the pile) And they fill in the background with simulated ones.
It's a great effect I think the major piece is an inclined platform covered in frisbees that they push through the door. There are free frisbees poured down the incline, and probably a green screen for everything else behind the door
Parking in the EV spot is probably the most evil thing Jeff has ever done. And that's saying something. For some reason, that just doesn't sit right with me.
I love community ❤ they could've hired a real Arab for abeds character though.everybodu else is starred accordingly..in it he's Palestinian..so you always see the jokes about 9.11-if he ever used a slingshot..you get it..after the 5th season it just sucks.

It's cool to know how he adapted 😊
Now here's a man who knows how to be buried by frisbees!
A day with Garrett is always a good day
I showed my 68 year old mother this show in a few iconic episodes over the holiday break and she said garret was her favorite 😂😂😂
Except at Annie’s birthday, apparently.
RIP Leonard
RIP Richard Erdman and RIP Rutger Hauer
Annie's Jansport backpack has been a constant throughout the show
She did spend months deciding on which one to buy
"Like tears in rain"
a reference my ears applaud
What?

1:19 That backstory was kind of sad even when the Frisbee shattered it was sad
My review: Closing Leonard's arc is better than any frozen microwave pizza or chips.
My favourite Blade Runner reference.
Garrett is the best screamer in Community...even better then Troy
Annie is the best screamer by far
@HectorTWE she got a sleep lab credit for it!
It’s a good day for a Good Day!
Leonard does as good a Roy Batty as he does Dracula
Britta is me when I take the social mask off
“CRISIS ALERT!!! A mountain of frisbees has collapsed onto the mess hall and barricaded the students! SEARCH AND RESCUE IS NEEDED!!!”
So, this one time in '92, my hallway in high school was flooded with McFrisbees during a lunch...
Jeff parking in handicapped parking spaces, electric car spaces etc is a running joke. Man simply breaks rules for the sake of it.
We need “best of Garrett moments” although im almost sure all his scenes were phenomenal!
Wait, that's *saved* Garrett?
Greendale Computery College
I didnt even notice😂
There is no way that building is up to code if those Frisbees are heavy enough to collapse the roof.
It's Greendale
The roof was 80% Styrofoam.
Nice 😊 😊
Till this day I have no clue how did they do that effect.
Are those real frisbees ??

My guess for the roof collapse is a bunch of frisbees on a tarp
Then again, who knows what the Yahoo budget was at the time... Maybe there really are like 10k frisbees here lol

That is saying something, considering he once stole a teacher's parking pass and parks in handicap spaces.
