"custom labels" are called white-label in the trade. instead of just a list which means nothing to a retailer, you need to make either tealights of the scents or wax melts so the retailer can smell the scents and can also describe the scent to the customer. and check Uprint for printing I have shopped all the brand printers avery, vista, etc and Uprint has the best prices.

I’ve worked for several small businesses. It’s not too much to have a brochure. businesses when marketing themselves drop off marketing materials, information, and samples. If you came by without any of these things we wouldn’t have considered your items

I can definitely see your candles in Target! I just received my wax melts from you. I cannot wait to put it in my warmer, it smells so good!
Actually it would be much better for Erica if she had her candles in high end boutiques all over the country. The Walmart’s and targets will squeeze her on price and it wouldn’t be worth it in the end (unless she had massive production capabilities).

I’m thinking about doing $250 minimum amount per order and you must order at least 4 units in a particular scent (just to make things more efficient!)

You always come to the rescue when I need help with something! Can I ask how long do you allow for your candles to set & is your fragrance the same amount for each candle I’ve heard different fragrances need different percentages
I usually cute about a week before selling! And I do about 8% for all my scents :)

Hello! I have a quick question. If I buy a candle from the store, can I melt it and reuse it to make a candle of my own? Or do I have a soy candle?
When you are figuring out the cost of your candles do you go be grams of oz and if so do you it by grams and what is your way of doing it if you do not mind. I have heard some people do it by ounces and some do it by grams which are better to do.

I used to always plan on doing wholesale in the future but then I thought it was confusing when you sell wholesale (based on the formula you explained) the retailer is actually profiting more than you per candle although we do get the money upfront for the sale and I am not sure how I would feel about that 🤔 I wouldn’t mind if the profit was 50/50..unless I’m getting confused?? What I understood was, if it costs you $4 u would multiply by 2 and that equals $8 which= wholesale price and they would sell it for $16 which leaves you with a profit of $4 per candle while giving them a profit of $8 per candle. ?
So, yes, you would only make $4 per candle, but you're selling A LOT of candles at once.....so let's say you have a 100 ct. candle order; that means you're making $400 per order, rather than $12 here and there when an individual makes a purchase. And, you're making the money immediately, whereas products can sit for a long time (on your website, etc.) if people don't choose to buy them. Also it's generally just you that you're "paying" whereas stores have employees and massive overhead (retail space isn't cheap!)
@@beemeistah I agree! Also to OP, it’s a matter of percentage, not the actual dollar amount. In this situation you are making 50% and they are making 50% ❤️ wholesale is fantastic for growth and selling lots of candles at once!
