Citrus and scale seem to go hand-in-hand. Must really keep you on your toes! Looks to have had a good summer season outside. They do like to have branches run along side the trunk. If you put a small wedge of rock or bark at the junction, it will guide a young branch to a better angle. Fingers crossed for a bug-free winter!
Nice. I love your year long update. Looks good. My lemons had a tough year, not much growth for me. I think I need to fertilize more next year and see if that helps.
@@baldyeti indeed! All part of the fun. It’s interesting discovering which trees need extra fertilizer and which are fine without anything. I hope you’re staying warm up there!
Very cool to see the progression!!!
@@TheBonsaiZone thank you, good sir.
I’m following your techniques and teachings from your various citrus trees. Sure do appreciate you, Nigel.
Nice work! Good choppin'
Thank you, Dave
Happy you are back making videos brother. 😎🌳✂️
Thank you, Jered
Feels good to get back into a routine

Thanks for the tip, SueB!
Lots more soap and water at the beginning of the indoor season (and relocating house spiders) is helping out so far.
It's coming along fella. The removal of the branch was a good decision. It cleaned it up nicely. 😊
@@bonsaiexpression thank you, brother!
I appreciate the comment and kind words.
Nice tree! My pre-bonsai citrus trees here in Florida all succumbed to the Greening disease...
@@treeaddict uh oh! That sucks, for sure. I don’t know what that is, but I hope it doesn’t travel north!
Sorry, brother.
Nice work on the Lemon.
Thank you, Dave.
Looking good. I’d love to see your set up sometime. Your growing season is so short it intrigues me as to how you do it.
@@tinjoesstation thank you, Joe. Come on up, I’ll show you how I’ve made it work.

It’s taken me a bit to dial into the ratios as well, and I’m still not there yet. Part of the journey.

Noice, I’ll have to bring my orange trees inside pretty quick. Overnight temps are in the 30s
@@thelazybonsai thank you, brother.
And yes, at least get the shuffle going. Does you green house stay a bit warmer than the ambient temps?
I would imagine but I’ve been leaving the big door fully open at night. I don’t have a min/max temp gauge in there.
