I use old Parmesan cheese containers for a number of things. One serves as a water tray for my Venus Flytrap (a kind of carnivorous plant) Another serves as a bowl for my applesauce. I also use old Alfredo sauce jars as pots to grow pothos vines and Christmas cacti. All I have to do is wash the jars out a few times, fill them with water, and then add the plant cuttings. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper (and easier) than buying a bunch of bulky/expensive ceramic or clay plant pots. Much more portable too.

1.01 actually works really well in an emergency. Roof leak in the middle of a hurricane and then days long torrential rain in Florida. Put nails in ceiling and tied a big funnel on, ran hose from there out slightly open window. In one end and out the other. Took about 10 minutes to fix the leak when the rain stopped.

2:05 I’m from Germany and we had one of those bath tubs. Most other old apartments didn’t have indoor shower’s installed until years later. But that tub worked great
