The SLOB Technique is used to locate superimposed structures.
SLOB stands for same-lingual, opposite-buccal. SLOB Technique other names are tube shift method, Clark's method and, the Buccal object rule. The principle of SLOB Technique in dentistry requires exposing two different angulated intraoral x-ray images of one area. Dentists and dental students can use the SLOB technique in endodontics for canal localization, and localization of impacted tooth.
