The last time that I was in Hillsville for the Labor Day weekend was 2014. It was sad then compared to what it was back in the 1990's. Before 2014 the last time that I was there was 2001 and it was still going strong then. I went every year from about 1993 or 94 through 2001. I used to know some of the dealers there and we always have a great time there. Maybe if we have a good change in DC things will be a lot better next year. Thanks for the video and kindling up some good ol memories.
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 l had heard Scott it for a couple of years before my first visit but even then l definitely wasn't prepared for what l saw when l went. It was amazing! I've seen people learning in the side of the road basically and walking a mile just to get to it.
I might have to come down and check out that flea market some year! We are going to one in a couple weeks at the county fairgrounds, but it is nothing like that.
My wife asked me what i want to do this summer back Jan 2020. I said go to a huge flea market swap meet like Tom. Hasn't happened yet. We'll get there. I love these videos. Did you see the big pipe cutter? I have the exact same one. It will cut steel pipe. Good one Tom.

We used to summer in Galax VA......HIllesville is a quaint little town.....Rural Retreat is a nice area as well.
