I really love CachyOS. After a time on Garuda KDE lite. For what I know is that Cachy have a default gaming install script to install and set your pc for gaming in the right way.
I also use in Steam Proton-Experimental-Bleeding-Edge for gaming. This is the latest Proton version. Works like a charm for a while now.
